    intention for Peggy aka Sleepdeprived that is receiving her first chemo today and is very scared and anxious---------Please,  Father, Mother Mary and the Holy court of heaven watch over and give her the tools of mind, spirit and soul to endure without panic , fear or despair that which she enters now. In Christ's name we pray.

    Prayer for Healing

    God of endless love, ever caring, ever strong, always present, always just : you gave your only Son to save us by the Blood of his Cross.

    Gentle Jesus,  shepherd of peace, join to your own suffering the pain of all who have been hurt in body, mind and spirit by those who betrayed the trust placed in them.

    Hear our cries as we agonize over the harm done to our brothers and sisters. 
    Breathe wisdom into our prayers, soothe restless hearts with hope,

    steady shaken spirits with faith: show us the way to justice and wholeness, 

    enlightened by truth and enfolded in your mercy.

    Holy Spirit, comforter of hearts, heal your people's wounds and transform our brokenness.

    Grant us courage and wisdom, humility and grace, so that we may act with justice and find peace in you.

    We ask this through Christ our Lord.

    So glad I finally explored the "Catholic" threads.

    Friends in Christ, Please lift my Mom, Janice, up in your prayers, especially on Thurday, Aug 25. She is having mastectomy surgery. She is terrified of surgery (this is her first time ever) and has struggled with her faith and in accepting her BC diagnosis, so please pray specifically that she be able to leave these fears at His feet, that the Holy Spirit will fill her with peace and for God to guide the doctors' skilled hands.

    For my mom, Noreen, who battles stage iv bc, that her treatments will be easy on her and that she will experience remission. Please God, help me, her daughter, to accept your will, no matter how difficult. Mother Mary, please intercede for me to your Son, our Lord Jesus, for healing for my mom, a faithful servant. Mary

    My intention 1. That my sister's health improves.  That she be given the in sight to do what she has to do to accomplish that. 2.That we all heal in mind and have strengthened spirits, as well as bodies, inclusive of allhere,and my family that have cancer at present 3. That my friend be kept safe in her overseas assignment and come home joyfully, and that her family feel no anxiety or fear during this time. 4.That Jeannine, Audrey, Jennifer and Michael are at peace and their families are strengthened. 5 That hate and hurtfulness be eradicated.  6. That Greg and all my family that have gone before, our at the side of God. 7, That I do the physical things, I need to do to improve my own well being and that all here have success in the same. 8. That Tammy's Aseptic necrosis of her leg be healed. 9. That Paula-Diamond girl and her family be strengthened in their grief, and that ther mother is peacefully at Gods side. 10. That Ramona be guide in her search for family.11.That all my living family maintain health or a return to health, and love one another.12 that Apples meningioma be reduced to nothing and cause no further harm and that her family's lymphoma become the mildest form 13. Alice Citak recently deceased cousin of Johns, but like a mother to him may she RIP. 14 That Dave afflicted from birth and now has attempted suicide that it be resolved and his mind made right. 15. In remeberance of Bo by Maria Fatima 16 that church friend Sheila and her husband with leukemia be healed.   !7, for all members of BCO here and all the wonderful people that have impacted my life here by their friendship and kind words. 18. that my two new problems be healed and not be cancerous. 19. That the good works of BCO and the moderators be blessed and continue to help. 20.That our minds be able to focus intently for all our novenas and that our deepest spirit within us reaches you. 21 Laura E's intention and Laura b's healing without complication, that Wreni find her way.22 that"Gerry" find his way back to home and away from his trouble. 23That MMM5 family find pre BC peace and unity as a family, and that her husband find work  24 Uncle Jim's recovery fom surgery goes without problems. 25 Little Bean heals.

    That we have successful Novena , and all that suffer with cancer of any nature are given the courage, grace and faith to deal with God's plan.           Namaste, Sheila

    Dear God please help number 2 princess get a position soon as a Dietician; Number 1 princess  flys almost every week, sometimes a few times a week in her job please keep her safe on all her journeys; please keep up dear wife's improvement following hip replacement surgery; thanks for good results from my last CT Scan please let the good progress continue; may that progress be visited on all those afflicted with cancer; thanks for Dr Denis Slamon and his work in developing Herceptin, please guide the work of all those doing research in the battle against cancer; let all those who have lost relatives/spouses/friends especially those parents who have lost children to cancer, feel the caress of your gentle healing hand  Lord hear my prayer.     Dear God...thank you for all the blessings in my life,,,I pray that those I love who left before me are seated at your feet in Heaven...I pray that Wendy Reckmans newborn son can come to his earthly home from the NICU...I pray that The docs at UC Hospital can work together and piece together the puzzle of Mrs. retherfords illness...I pray that it is your will that my scans come through good and that I do not move on in my staging. Amen

    Heavenly Father, thank you for all the blessings that you have given me. I ask for your continued strength as I continue with chemotherapy and radiation. I also ask that the treatments do their job and cure my cancer. Amen

    Lord, please bless my son with peace, wisdom and faith, let him stay away from trouble, ease his mind and lead him to a good job.  Bless my other son, daughter and husband, grant them a conversion of faith and lead them to lead happy, healthy, holy lives.  Bless my mother and brother and sister, grant them patience and understanding to care for her. Bless my sister and her two teenage children who lost their husband/father in July with peace.  Bless me and let the treatments cure the cancer in my body and let it never return.  Bless all the women and men on this forum, grant them healing and peace, and grant their intentions.  Amen

    Blessed Mother -please give me the peace and patience to get through my chemo treatments.  Please let me turn a blind eye to all the craziness going on around me so I can focus on getting better.  Help me to understand and move pass why this happened.  Please protect my husband, mother and my 4 beautiful babies from anymore pain because of my disease. I have faith that you are carrying me through this.  Please also keep my financial mess at bay for now -I don't think my husband can handle anymore heartache.  I also would like to pray for all those I know right now who are fighting the same battle.  With faith in you, Crist Our Lord.  AMEN

    I pray that the treatments we have all received have done their job of eliminating, eradicating, and destroying every last cancer cell/malignancy in our bodies...that those treatments will not now or in the future cause us any temporary or permanent damage...that those of us that continue treatment  (hormonals, diet, exercise, holisitc, etc) will continue to do well, that our bodies and immune systems grow stronger and stronger each day, fighting off whatever tries to hurt us again....that we all be cured and healed from the evilness that once had invaded our bodies, and that we all live long, happy, healthy lives with all those we love...being the best versions of ourselves in the honor and glory of our Lord...I ask for blessings upon our families, that they are happy and healthy and living a life in  accordance with our Lord.I ask for blessings upon all those that suffer needlessly each day...I ask for blessings for our military that do so much to keep our freedom ours...Bless my husband...bless our marriage, our love and our commitment to each other...Bless my family, my family of sisters on this board and their families, that they be blessed abundantlyBless all us having scans, tests, procedures (now and in the future)...that all results are clear, clean and normal...Bless all those in active treatment, that their SEs are minimal and tolerable.... I ask this in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ...AMEN

    For my mom, Noreen, that her treatments will eradicate the cancer from her body and that we may enjoy her for many more years. For my uncle Joe, my friends Peggy and Susan, and all those who suffer from cancer, that God may send a cure for this terrible disease. For my aunt Joan who has ALS, that God may make her whole again. For me, Mary, that I may accept Gods will and always be eternally thankful to Him for the blessings He has bestowed upon me.

    For my daughter, Meredith, who was diagnosed with Hepatitis C acquired from her birthmother, that she remain healthy and strong until the new drugs are developed and she can be cured. For my son Jay, that he may realize that Bea is the love of his life and that he propose to her. For my son Win, that he may find a  job after law school, that he may pass the bar exam, and pay off all those student loans. And last, thank you God for keeping me, Marsha, cancer free for almost nine years that I could raise my children. I am sorry for my frequent fear and doubt and will try every day to love you fully. Also please pray that I find a job.

    For the doctors that God give them the strength to continue on the journey with every ill patient, and the understanding that one is never to young to get cancer, or breast cancer, that their eyes are opened to the possibility and young women get the medical screenings they need quickly.  For all the uninsured battling illness that they find their way into a doctor's care.  For my daughter that she gets restful sleep in order to tackle this junior year of college.  For all the ill, oppressed, abused, lonely, depressed, that they heal in Christ and let God's light shine through them. And selfishly for me, dear Lord, that this retreat You have found for me on the anniversary of my dx, that I listen to Your words, give everything to You, and let Your light work through me. In Your name I pray.

    Can't pass this up....For my 2 daughters and 2 grandaughters continued health and a deepening of their faith. For Patty that she be comforted while both her husband and son go threw cancer treatments. For Donna who is in her final stages of breast cancer. For all those who are suffering in mind and body and all my dear sisters intentions on this board I pray this is JESUS name. AMEN

    For my family members to have their individual ailments cured (Lord, you only need to say the word and we shall be healed!)

    For my children to be happy, healthy and take their education seriously and be successful with their studies.

    For my husband and I to have fulfilling jobs and stable income.

    For my mom, dad, families and friends and all others who have gone before me to find eternal peace in our Lord's Kindgom.

    For sending rain to drought countries, so crops will grow.

    Stop militant groups in stealing food and medical aids from the suffering people.

    Stop the evil people who are taking advantage of our young people.  

    Free the abused victims and heal their brokeness.

    Guide our governemt officials to do the right thing.  

    Bless our troops and keep them safe.

    Free us ALL from illness and let us regain our health, energy and vitality.

    A young soldier from North Carolina was injured in an IED explosion in Afghanistan yesterday.  He lost both of his legs, and a finger.  The only thing his mother asks for is prayers.  Prayers for him, for the whole family, for every other soldier who is still there fighting, for those who have been injured or killed, and for those who will be in the future. 

    May this family, and the family of every other soldier receive the comfort that only the Lord can give.  May the future hold better things for each injured soldier than they can even imagine today.
