Shortlady, I tried them they don't look bad. I was going to play a joke on my PS and place them very off center and go into an appt. and say "I knew I should of waited for you to do the tatoo's" I didn't get the nerve up to do it. When picking them out go alittle darker.
-
Thanks Dawne-Hope and MBJ. My new implants still seem like objects to me - I haven't emotionally assimilated them as one of my body parts. I find myself inadvertantly touching them during the day - something I would never have done with my natural breasts and also hope I remember not to do it in public places! The silicon does get cold sometimes. I'm cold natured so I think I wear more layers than a lot of people to stay warm.
-
ok, had implants put in end of april, left one removed 2 1/2 weeks ago with expander put back in, yesterday morning woke up to bleeding from incision that opened up so much i can see the expander. nevertheless, its coming out tomorrow and in about 4 months trans flap will be done
will this ever be over?

Beads: Your PS is the serious type or you just don't have the nerve? We double-dog dare you!
-
Pegs - So sorry...is certainly is a long ride, isn't it? Hang in there!!!
-
Pegs: So sorry this hasn't worked for you! Have you checked out Dr. Khouri in Miami and Micro Fat Grafting as an option? There is a Anyone have Micro Fat Grafting thread on here.
-
I am so stealing the idea of the rub on 3D nipple tattoos to the PS office...Hysterical ! Made my day. What will they invent next ?
Tembo - yikes, I am cold natured too, cold foobs ? Not looking forward to that. The TE's I have now feel no diff temp wise.
Pegs - I am so sorry your reconstruction journey has hit this huge pothole. Pulling for you !
-
Sounds like the "thong issue" has been settled and we are onto fake nipples. Guess I need to google those and see what I can find.
I had one week post-op with my PS yesterday. All went very well and he is so happy with the look of the new implants. Me too. Was told I could ditch the surgical bra if I wanted to and go with a good supportive sports bra for the next 4 months. He didn't encourage me to massage at all except for one area on the radiated side. Stalling off the nipple issue until October so have plenty of time to decide what I want to do.
Pegs... sorry for the setback. A girl has to do what a girl has to do... so keep on marching.
I guess I may get to experience that cold foob thing tonight. We are going to an outdoor concert and, wouldn't you know it, below average temps.... its going to be quite chilly. Suppose I'd look a little silly showing up in my down vest? Just when I'd prefer to be showing off my new cleavage.
-
I don't really have the cold foob thing... or at least I don't notice it's particularly colder than my remaining natural breast unless I go looking. Maybe some are more sensitive than others? Or some have thinner skin?
How cool about 3D rub on tats! Never thought of that
-
Can you buy one?
-
Suebee, I just ordered some.
-
Are you willing to share where you ordered them?
-
Re on how to do the massage: My PS told me (and gave me handouts) to cup the breast with your hand and:
1) Push up
2) Push down
3) Push toward the armpit
4) Push toward the sternum
Do that pattern 10x on each breast. I think there are different techniques, but this is what my PS recommended me to do.

Tattooednipples.com
You can even pick the color and the level of 3D
-
ShannonR... thanks, I'm going to order too!
-
Yes, onto fake nipples... What a great idea!
Those who have tried them, are they hard to remove? Would hate to be "stuck" with it if I wanted it off. -
Thanks for the massage tips Dawne-Hope. I'll add that to my repertoire. My PS must be a minimalist.
-
Dawn-Hope..thanks for the massage instruction.
Love the laughs on the rub-on's.
I once told my PS that I felt sorry for Right, because she got no attention. I am constantly feeling Left. Finally, after weeks of my fills and my nonsence jokes ..he finally laughed!!!
Tomorrow is my day. I have spent today..cleaning my room (which took all day-- cause once you start one area..like the underwear drawer...you have to do ALL the drawers). And the shedding of the dogs and dog hair. Fortunately, I'm wearing myself out so I can fall asleep tonight.
Exchange/Reduction scheduled for 11:30 am. I'll be staying overnight. And home Saturday morning. I'm looking SOOO forward to this. After reading everyone's exchange..both good and bad, I feel ready !!!!
-
Shannon- what a hoot! I just went to the web site you posted and ordered rub-on tattooed nipples. Can't wait to see what they look like. You made my day.
-
Good boob fairy vibes, Mejoy!
-
Mejoy: Good luck to you tomorrow and happy squishees and a speedy recovery!!!
-
My best to you meJoy. Look forward to hearing back from you.
-
Laura asked me if I would come over here and post the video on how to massage implants..so the good girl that I am..hehehe...here it is
-
Very interesting video on massaging. I liked the part "some of these techniques may also be done with a partner"! So I am 8 months out from exchange, my PS had me push implants in and up every time I went to the bathroom - said that's how to remember to do it
I think I did this for 3 months and then he told me I could quit. The video said to do for 5 minutes a day - forever????? I see the PS again next month and will ask him if I should continue - I haven't been doing it...... -
MeJoy GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!! I look forward to hearing all about it!!
-
good luck MeJoy!!
Hello Ladies i have been following u when i can stay awake and concentrate long enough, must admit u keep me smiling silly girls
Im wondering if anyone is still feeling as tired as i am ? I have NO energy and feel kinda of out of it and its been 11 days since exchange. I am not in much pain, just sleepy .... -
Beacher I cant say I have! Ive been kinda the opposite! Im afraid of all of this vigor because I dont want to do something stupid! I say that sleep is good for recovery so keep it up while youve got it and mention it at your post-op if it doesnt improve by then!
BTW, my post op is Tuesday - when is yours? I saw my PS this week because I was afraid my right one was on the move....it was fine, but I am in regular bras without wires now. So I got to go shopping. Im saving the tags for posterity...I cant get over the letter on there! LOL
-
PEGS: I am so sorry you need to have your TE removed AGAIN! This sucks! Best of luck tomorrow and please keep us posted!
MEJOY, good luck tomorrow!
And gotta love a thread that moves from thongs to cold foobs to fake nips in a matter of hours!!
-
They come off with alcohol.
-
beacher: general anesthesia can lay me out for a long time! Better that you are resting but I hope you get your energy back soon.
