good luck tomorrow Joan888, I will cross my fingers and toes for you too.
My PS told be at least 4-6 weeks from my last fill, so anytime after my next visit (friday) I will be ready.

-
Silly question I know...but after the surgery are you all wrapped up? Can you you wear a shirt home? I still have 9 days...but all the crazy thoughts/uncertanities running through my head are eating at me!
-
Wahoo Joan 888, good luck tomorrow, so happy for you!
-
Perfect4, you can wear something home. I wore a zip up sweatshirt that was a little big and pants of course. Button or zipper ups always work good.
-
I wore my husband's shirt with the sleeves rolled up and yoga pants to and from surgery. Drains came out today. Get to shower tomorrow. Had FX410 495 Gummies. With fat grafting. So far they look very natural. Will get better look tomorrow when can shower.
-
greytcruise and howard..thanks!
-
joan888: Best wishes for smooooooth sailing!
-
joan888- Hope all goes well tomorrow and you're soon home again!
-
I had my exchange yesterday morning, I was home by early afternoon and slept until now(3 a,m.). I have no pain at all, I have not even had to take a Tylenol ! I dreaded this surgery so much and it was nothing like the bmx. I do have one drain , but on the bright side, the surgical bra is very soft and comfortable!
-
Salkate - yeah congratulations! Great that you have no pain!
Joan - Best of everything...hope the boob fairy is still generous!
Emaline - yes I was one of the 3 weekers...I was shocked but my fills were spaced out longer and I have had the TE's in for 6 months overall.
Perfect - I wore my husbands Tshirt home and some yoga pants. I think ill stay in his tshirts a couple of more days and move to my bigger ones. I am having really great range of motion but I am NOT going to overdo it this time!
Howard yeah on the drains!
I slept a whole lot better last night! I woke up at 4 for my meds and didnt bother. I woke up at 6:30 ABSOLUTELTY ready for them however!!!! My left is definiltey feeling it today. The right continues to be just fine.
-
Salkate--so glad to hear you are doing well.
Joan--hope you wake up happy and healthy.
Suebee--I can't believe your energy! You sound great.
-
Joan- thinking of you!! Salkate- hurrah for being on the other side of surgery!!
Kelly
-
Suebee - I just checked out your pictures - you should be soooo pleased - awesome results!!
-
I agree suebee you got a great match.
-
Carrol and Valerie thanks so much....that means a lot.
I wonder whats up with Beacher!?
-
Well, I'm baaaack! Thanks for your all your thoughts. Surgery went on schedule at 730am and took about 90 minutes. PS swapped out my Mentor 325cc's Smooth Round Moderate Profile Plus for some 425cc's High Profile. He had told me before surgery that he would most likely use 400-425's so I was a bit surprised. PS talked to my DH after the surgery and said that I was going to be very pleased with the way it turned out so can't wait to take a peek when I shower tomorrow morning. PS didn't do any FG this time.... he had said he would prefer to wait unitl nipple surgery.
Darn it! The recovery nurse kept insisting that I take a Norco to get ahead of the pain. I relented and took one and now I can't stay awake. Other than that, I feel great and so happy to get it behind me.
Perfect4... I wore the same thing that I wore to both my BMX and first exchange.... comfy yoga pants and a loose fitting white knit shirt. As I suspected, they sent me home today with another big old black surgical bra over some guaze dressing.
Hope that everyone else continues to heal well and/or excited about upcoming exchanges. Really.... it is not a bad surgery at all. Beacher......where are you?
-
Oh, I meant 450cc's not 425.
-
Joan: Yay for you!!! 450's-wow! Best to wait for FG--my first FG didn't take.
-
Glad you're on the other side, Joan!
-
YEAH JOAN and thanks for checking in!!! I got 25ccs more than I was expecting too! But then, my PS said 'everyone wishes they went bigger'....hmmm
Stay ahead of that pain and take it easy!!! Here's to a speedy recovery!
-
I'm here just been kinda out of it since exchange. Taking pain meds and anti anxiety meds got me really zonked.. I will post more soon Take care all
-
Glad youre OK and checking in!!! I look forward to hearing more!
-
Joan - I have 450ccs too!! Congratulations!! So glad it was a easy surgery for you!
Suebee - So glad you are still feeling good!
beacher - hang in there you will feel better in a couple of days!
All of you don't over do it - take it easy!!
I'm having nose surgery (deviated septum) tomorrow and don't know why I am getting nervous - was told it won't be painful. Not looking forward to breathing out of my mouth for a few days...
-
Congratulations everyone!!!
-
SueBee, your photo's are beautiful, i cant believe you are up and dressed i have not even showered yet im still wrapped like a mummy and have pain. My ps said 48 hours and im waiting that , i got out of surgery at 4:20 so i got about 1/2 now...but im kinda scared!
-
Hello Ladies, and thank-u for all your good wishes. I wanted to ask if anyone had are range of motion problems after exchange? I have told u i lost range of motion after bmx but have been working on it in pt. Now my other arm will not reach over my head??? But am i suppose to reach up?If you remember my dr. said i could do anything but i tend to not go along with that after listening how careful u have all been. Ok well im going togo take the bandages and bra off now ,wish me luck
-
Beacher - I didnt have ROM problems after my Uni...I got my motion back to over 90% I would say...and that was because I was getting the skin bridge between TE and shoulder. After the other day, I can get probably 80% straight up on the right and 70% on the left but I am not worried....I was able to wash my hair today and can reach things in the cupboard. Its only been 2 days. PS doesnt really want me to do anything for 2 weeks.
Thanks for checking me out! LOL!!! I have pain too but I am taking my vicodin faithfully this time. It makes me loopy and therefore keeps me in the chair. I think after MX I went off meds too soon. PS doesnt want me to take anything else for 5 days. Im ok with that.
Good luck with your unveiling!!!
-
Thank you to all the people who have been sharing their experiences. I have a few more fills to go but I am already getting nervous, so it helps to hear all the great results.
-
Beacher: Good to hear from you! No reaching, pulling, lifting--just take it easy! Your range of motion will depend on how much pocket work your PS has done and it will/should be better then your MX, but give it time and take it easy for a few weeks. It will all heal in time. Once I felt better and could move more I started back in with stretching excercises and my ROM is much better now. Let all those internal and external stitches heal for now.
-
Well i took the bra and stuffings out, they look pretty good i can breathe better now that the bra is not squeezing my ribs! im not going to shower tonight thou to scared i need o get use to just wearing this bra. Im really tired ,more than my other 2 surgeries ,im like a slug..But i being a slug is needed now
