((((( O2B ))))))!
Here's hoping that it's just a bit of arthritis/bursitis or perhaps a pinched nerve. I know my hips have been killing me for the last year or so... I think brought on by treatment but, my doc says perhaps aging... To which I said... I'm NOT going there! We'll just say treatment is causing this! Have to trust your gut instincts and get checked out if you think you should!
So sorry to hear about the loss of your friend and what a crappy way to find out about it!!!
LOL on the "My give a damn's busted" Love that song and have used that line more than once!
Haven't been able to post all that much due to being very busy with my son's graduation/prom plans but, also have had a 'not so good' family matter to deal with concerning the same son! Nothing I can talk about but, know I am thinking of you all even when I can't participate in the conversation!
Have to get things together for Barbara's 1 Year quit-aversary on the Quit Smoking thread!!!! It's on Thursday!!
-
(((O2B)))) So sorry to hear about your BF. What a shock not to be able to "do" something for her. Hope you hear from her mom soon.
-
Oh, Michelle, I am so sorry you had to learn of your BF's passing that way. What a terrible shock... I'm sure you will remember many wonderful memories of the special times you both shared. I hope your annoying leg pain will just disappear! I know, that sounds silly of me; just please know I wish you all the best.
I haven't been posting much anywhere, but I really wanted to reply to your post.
Hugs dear sister/friend! ♥
-
Michelle, so sorry for your loss. And so sorry you had to learn about it that way.
-
Michelle, so sorry about your BF and the circumstances when you found out. I've said a prayer for your freind and for you.
-
Michelle - I am so sorry to hear about your friend and the way you found out. Cyber hug being sent to you.
-
Thank you for all the hugs! I was able to get in touch with some 'old' friends of Tanya's and we are going to plan a memorial service for her this month in Tucson. It is just so heartbreaking that her family has not planned anything or even posted an obit in the local paper. I know that peoples lives and deaths go unnoticed, but that is not going to happen to Tanya...
-
((((Michelle)))) you are a wonderful caring friend, my prayers go out for you and Tanya
-
(((♥Michelle♥)))
What a nice thing to do. Love you my friend and sorry about Tanya.
-
Michelle - you are a true friend! My prayers are with you.
-
{{{Michelle}}}, Tanya would smile knowing her friends will be remembering her at a special memorial service. You are a true friend indeed.
-
That is a wonderful gesture, Michelle. I would hope I would be lucky enough to have one friend like you.
I'll be heading Tuscon way later this month. DS and DIL are expecting Baby Boo somewhere around the 22nd. It can be beautiful country down there.
-
(((((Michelle)))))))
Thank you for sharing your friend's story with us. You have entrusted us with caring for you as you grieve and plan a fitting tribute -- to celebrate your friendship together, Tanya's life, memories and a legacy of stories and laughter.
We weave our own chapters together here, even though our friendships are born through the screen and made real thru the ups and downs of our chatter together -- we still have our own laughter and our own bond. We hope to make an impact as we support one another.
We send our love and encouragement as you wrestle with your loss. We are here for you.
xx00xx00xx00xx
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
-
Dear faith and Michelle, you said it beautifully faith, I send my wish for love to surround Michele. I went to a memorial for my aunt and the tears and laughter brought with it some peace and closure. I hope it does the same for you Michele, how wonderful a friend you were and continue to be. hugs, Karen

Don't think I get extra credit for following doctors orders and taking it easy this week. No power walking yet, but a "stroll" is ok. Maybe I'm sweating the weight off with the compression garment and binder lol. I'll take the loss regardless of how it happened!
SeasideMemories, I've got 3 teenagers, so I know how busy you must be, especially at this time of year. I hope your son's graduation goes smoothly, and leaves you all with good memories to cherish.
