TN Ten Pounds Take-Off

Titan- that's why I like swimming and the elliptical... easier on the joints (though at present I'm not doing either!) Haven't gotten back into the swimming since my knee surgery 2 months ago.
-
I bought a pair of those crazy fitness shoes 'cause they were on clearance for $25.00. Wore them for my walk tonight and they are so comfortable. I'm still counting my steps. Today I've done 12,030. It was election day so I walked to the poll instead of driving. It was a great day for it.
-
Tracie23: You are doing awesome!! Go you!!!!
Titan: Really? Well, that does make sense though! I'm not a fan of running because it always hurts no matter what (and I'm not overweight at all!) but it has always hurt my hips and knees. My hubby is a big runner, and his knees always bug him... I try to get him to cycle or swim instead or inconjunction with his running!
-
I don't like running because I don't like feeling my a$$ shaking up and down or my stomach LOL
-
I love running but Los Angeles is so smogy that it hurts my lungs to do so. It doesn't help that chemo has kind of crippled me--floor excercises for now.
-
Tracie23: I'm going to make an amendment to my last comment... even though I know I'm not "overweight"... I HATE feeling my ass shake up and down as well. Hahahahahaa!! So gross feeling!
-
Weight still the same ladies. Interesting about the knees I may need to switch up.
-
Ha ha - this might be one of the very few times where it's good to be a loser!! Wish I was one
-
You guys crack me up...I have to admit I have never felt my ass jump up and down when running..maybe because I have the "no assatall" disease..you guys are lucky to have a butt...I'm jealous.

Good morning,
So I started celebrating Mother's day on Friday. We spent the weekend in San Diego . Eating out everyday.... Results? Today I am 150.9 . What the heck!!!!! Got to work harder this week.
Have a great day girls.
-
Haven't weighed myself in awhile mostly in part because I ate a lot this weekend.
-
Went up to 202 this weekend. Dont get it. I ate good, exercised was outside alot. I think my body is in reverse mode...
-
Ugh, I have been eating like a horse since Easter and I just have to say no!!! I had my PS appointment Friday and I have to say I am up (no surprise) 160. That's okay, though, I am keeping up wiht my workouts and yesterday did alot of walking and I can feel that I am much stronger and getting my muscle tone back.
Erica: It all jiggles, lol!
-
Didnt lose anything this week stayed the same....this week we ate out alot...hope for better next week:)
-
144 Baby!
-
YOU GO TITAN!!!! I am still holding at 154.5.... not bad for drinking and eating all weekend.
-
Way to go TiTan
-
Does any one else feel like a yo-yo? 133.2 for me this week, too much mother's day.
-
woohoo Titan - good news all around for you!
-
I wish it could have been more but whatever..I went to a luncheon last week and the dessert was tollhouse pie (warm) and ice cream..there was no way I was not going to eat that...so I did.
I also ate chocolate on Mother's Day!
Really, we need to consider this NOT a diet but an actual life change....and treats are allowed once in awhile..
-
Titan: Thank you very much-Congratulations on your weigh in. Next week I will do better.
-
Nice job, Titan!! I agree too... no diet. Lifestyle change!!
I'm the same again. No change. I'm okay with where I am... I would just likeee to see a few pounds go.
Mary: Hah!! I'm flipping 30 years old... I should not be jiggling at all!! My Kim Kardashian booty thinks differently, however. Lol!!
-
erica: LOL! Kim Kardashian--no way do you have her booty!
-
Hi how do I get on the list, I really need to lose some weight. I am 5 foot 9 inches and weigh at the present time 187 yikes! I am walking the dog a mile a day, need to go to the gym at least 3 times a week I have only been making it there once a week. Anyone have any great tips for eating well and trying to shed some pounds. I certainly am trying to cut out some of my bread intake, I swear I could live on bread and cheese. I am very determined to get rid of this extra weight as I am worried about recurrence, I was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer is 2008 and one of the "three" tumours was Her2+. Any advice would be appreciated thanks ladies

Lilyn- you're in! Good luck!
-
Kim Kardashian..you guys crack me up....If I had her booty I would like to have her money too..ha ha...and a TV show...maybe we TN's should have our own show! I'm sure we can bitch and talk about sex as much as well.
-
Lol, Titan! I'll just take her money, thank you!
Lilyn: I am tall too! I feel as if my weight just snuck up on me one day and then, holey moley, my clothes no longer fit, lol. Bread and cheese are not your friend if you want to lose the pounds. Those are my weeknesses, too. The weight magically falls whenever I eliminate those food groups. Welcome to our group.
-
Ugh... the bread and cheese. So agree! Of course, I adore them so. Oh well.
Definitely not as big as Kim K's arse... but I've always worn a small top, and medium/large bottom. Just how my body is! Like I've said... thank God my DH is butt guy. Haha.
-
142! 7 lbs to go! Maybe I will start shopping for the mother of the bride dress pretty soon..
-
Titan: Wahooooo!!! You are doing it!!!!
