Checking in hummingbird for Karen333
Friday check in = 3 points
Water = 7 points
Exercise = 36 points
Weight 183 to 180 lbs = 2 points
extra credit = 1 point (biked 3 hours for 4 days and 2 hours for 3 days)
Total = 49 points!!!!
I have NEVER exercised this hard. Since the tummy weight is going nowhere with biking, will have to do crunches this coming week, not my favorite at all. Also walking on sunny days, hedging my bet in western NY we don't get a full week of sun, ever. Sorting out various sized clothes for Salvation Army.

Friday check in = 3 points.
Water/fluid intake = 7 points
Exercise = 13 points
Weight up .5 lbs = 0 points

Total points = 23
Seaside I understand the weight going up and down with the same 1-2 pounds. It's getting a bit frustrating to exercise and still not get below the E-lab low. Anyone have any suggestions????
-
Roadrunner checking in.
Friday - 3 points
Water - 7 points
Exercise - 17 points
Weight - up .2 of a pound. Yesterday, it was down .4, but weigh in is on Friday.
I think that part of my problem is that I need to eat a substantial snack on Thursday afternoon to make it through my yoga class, and I don't get home to eat dinner until late. That extra food and late dinner time shows up on the scale on Friday mornings.
-
Roadrunner checking in - this has been the week from hell, so I'm just glad I survived it. Hard work week, things hard at home, you name it.
Friday check -in 3 pts
5 pts for water - it was hard to keep up, but I'm sure at least two days I didn't get my minimum.
20 pts exercise - hauling around artwork, walking miles in the galleries, hefting blanking heavy paintings, swinging hammers, climbing ladders, etc, plus 2 hours mild PT exercise and 2 hours walking the dogs - really more in the galleries, but I'm just counting the strenuous parts that had me sweating and heart-rate up.
Now the really bad news - finally made it to the gym to check my weight in my work-out clothes and on the same scale - I'm at my highest point ever in my life. REALLY a bummer. 0 pts for that. How can I be working this hard and still not losing - bad food choices, I guess. Time to get more serious in that area. Sigh. My one vice.
28 pts total. Hope that translates to lost weight soon...
-
Oh, brother, missed Friday check in again. I was so tired when I got home yesterday that I sat down and fell asleep. Again. I will be so glad when I get off orientation and get onto the weekend hours! I know, have patience. I'm trying!
Check in = 0 points
wgt same = 1 point
water = 7 points
exercise = 4 points
extra credit--took stairs all week, parked at far end of parking lot all week = 1 point
Total = 12 points.
-
I have missed two weeks, and I am very sorry. I really will catch up.
I have been going through the threads PauldingMom and I were on together to pass the follwing idea by you ladies. Give me some feedback if you will.
I remember when Saint passed, arrangements were made with a florist in her city to make a bouquet of pink roses. The florist made a special price of something like $10 per rose and we called our orders in directly to the florist. Do you think we could do something like this for Lisa?
-
Meece I would LOVE to participate in honoring Lisa that way! Please send me the details once you know them..
-
Same here!
-
Most definitely Meece! I've been wondering all day what to do, and that would be perfect. I was so glad to do that for Saint and would be very glad to do that for Lisa.
-
Let us know when you sort out the details, Meecie.
I want to be part of our BCO bouquet.

In case some of you haven't seen this on other threads yet, I've copied and pasted for your convenience. It's the instructions on how to order a flower for Lisa.
"OK everyone. If you would like to send a rose or roses for a big pink bouquet for Lisa, please call Francis Florists 770-949-8711. Say that you would like to add rose(s) for $6.75 a piece to the Pink Rose Tribute-they will know exactly who that is for. We must have at least 12 roses (I purchased 2). If you prepare ahead of time what you want the card to say they will write it out and attach the card to your rose. The gentleman I spoke to said their business is doing the family flowers as well, so just saying "Pink Rose Tribute" will be sufficient. He warned it you try to do it on-line it will ask you for a delivery charge so calling is best. Joni"
