I just want to say that this surgery sucked. I hurt...I think I'm having mood swings....I have a damn fever. I call one doctor (gyno) they say unless the fever is 101.5 while I'm taking ibuprofen, don't worry. The other surgeon, uro dr....he says well how long has it been since you finished your antibiotics. I said I didn't take any. You guys never gave me them. Did I need them? He says oh. Yes lets do that now then. What the hell? Crap.
Teresa

Wow Teresa -- that's so not cool. Hope you get the antibiotics asap and that they take care of the issue.

The Arizona sisters are all quite busy,,,,,i am still in Houston caring for my 22 yr old son who broke his neck and collar bone.. We are 4 wks into the healing process and he is doing so much better. He will see the doctor again next week and if he gets the okay we will be driving back to Phoenix. This was THE best Mothers Day gift i could have gotten,,,,,a healthy, alive son, who got rid of the motorcycle!!!!!
hugs to all, karen

Karen... great to here about your son.... HUGE GIFT !
Ladies... I hope you are all enjoying some type of spring weather! We are finishing up a remodel that I am beyond ready for them to be DONE.
I cannot wait to see you all again SOON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Hi all!
Just popping in to see what is new.
I head out to Vegas later this month for a mini vacation - gambling adventure!
Hot and humid here in St. Louis - doing wonders for my chemo curls. Oh well, I have hair again and am happy about that!!
-
Sunny and fairly warm here in Montreal. Great day today and should be for the rest of the week. Dealing with septic tank issues and new roof for the house so there's lots to be done. Will have to re-landscape after the septic system is in so my summer will be busy.
Can't complain as I am healthy and wish the same for all my sisters!
Terri
-
Have fun StL! Do you ever go to the Harrahs that is in St. Louis?
-
Lilah - nope, don't go to Harrahs. I go to the Ameristar St Charles - but don't play much there. I do most of my local playing at the Casino Queen in East St. Louis. I like that one as it is non-smoking (Illinois). I work downtown so it is really close by. Of course neither of these have any relation with Las Vegas casino's. I did try Harrahs back when we moved here in 2004 but found it to be really crowded, smoky and almost claustrophobic. Plus the machines were as tight as could be!
-
LOL StL! I was there a few years ago and yeah, it was very smoky!
-
Awe Terri,..... I feel for you ! The year we had to put in an additional septic system..... we thought......" Why in the hell are we paying an additional 7000.00 to have a place to... um....YOU KNOW!" Just made us livid...... and ofcouse... no insurance Co. coved it...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... I hoe at least, your insurance covers the roof.....
....... hang in there..... so sorry...:(
St Louis.......... Girl...... our casinos here in KC are full of smoke too....... BLECK!.
....When my Dh quit smoking like 6 yrs ago.... we both started HATING being anywhere there was massive smoke. Most of the places here are non smoking now... but the casinos still are... and they do NOT have good ventilation....
Ladies..... have a great weekend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Good morning TaTa Sisterhood - one of your newbies here checking the website. They still smoke in the casinos in Vegas? Haven't been for a few years, thought for sure it would be smoke free. Counting down the days until it's time to fly out and meet all of you. It sounds like so much fun but the best part will be making new friends by way of this BC journey!
Take care,
Jane
-
Las Vegas casino's still allow smoking, but all of the restaurants are now 100% smoke free.
-
Laura, nope, we're footing the whole bill - s/b somewhere around $23K.... guess I'll have to curb my gambling in Vegas. Thank God my airfare was compliments Air Canada Aeroplan miles!
Welcome Jane, can't wait to meet you and all the newbies................we're going to have so much fun!!!
Terri
-
Terri -- ugh! So sorry to hear that. I have a big bill too this year for french drains (around the outside of my house) here in watery NJ... ah well. Home ownership: the gift that keeps on taking
-
Hey ladies.. Just wanted to stop in to say hello.. Haven't been on in a while I pop on here and there just to see what everyone is up too. Can't wait to see you all again in Vegas.. Miss you all and can't wait to meet all of the new comers...
-
Hi ladies just started coming on this site and love all you girls. I find so much information and inspiration here, lots of answers to my questions. I dont know anything about this.Is there still availability at the Mirage? I would really like to do this but I dont know if it is too late. Besides fun and sun do you girls plan shows etc. If someone could give me so info I would love to hear about it. Lois. Toronto
-
Lilah - "when it rains, it pours" as they say.....ugh! They were supposed to start work today but it going to be raining all week....and so it drags on...............
Welcome fellow Canadian Lilyn ! Hopefully one of the gals organizing the trip will pipe in to let you know more details.......
Terri

Lilyn -- all info about the hotel is in the header of this thread. I'm not an organizer but, basically, anyone from BCO is welcome (and their friends). If you want a roomie... ask here. If you are going to come with your own friends, then just make a reservation as per instructions in Header (at Mirage Hotel) OR you can stay at any Vegas hotel and join up. Events are not yet announced -- still being planned -- but you can read the 2nd Ta Tas Sisterhood Reunion Thread to get an idea of what we did last year; no doubt it will be similar this year. Usually shows are arranged individually in smaller groups... a few have already posted on this thread about that, so just go back and read to find more info.
