    Treat him gently.  I still believe in giving respect and dignity to all people in death, even those who lived in hate.

     The next person hopes the media doesn't run wild with statements about this that will cause even more hatred towards the US.

    True.  It's most of what I watch.  Ah, for the Dick Van Dyke show! :)

    (I currently have a VW beetle, Ruth -- ragtop to boot!)

    7 cents!  Nope, I'm afraid I don't remember those.  I do remember 29-cent/gallon gasoline, tho!

    The next person remembers straws that had flavoring in them (I liked strawberry) -- you put it in your milk and drank through the straw and got that flavor.

    I do remember them, I had to fight with my mom to get them (my heels are narrow and they didn't stay on my feet well). I thought they were so cool!

    The next person wasn't allowed to wear slacks to school (school policy -- we had to wear skirts -- until my senior year in HS and even then, NO JEANS!)

    The next person had an original (the first year they were made) Barbie doll.  I had it until about 6 years ago, finally gave it to a charity (and Ken, and all their clothes).
