Thickening and edema on Clavicle and chest rib wall

Barb,
One of my girlfriends is six years out, and she is constantly fatigued and has joint pain. Some people get all that awful stuff from being on the AIs, and I'm not sure what can be done about it, but make sure you give him an earful and find out for sure if he can help you manage it. I hope you are feeling better soon.
Does tylenol or anything like that help?
As far as the running coach, we have our own personal trainer, Everyminute, right here at our disposal. I'm sure she wouldn't mind working with you.....
Love

Shanagirl, the thickening and edema might be truncal LE. You might want to check that out.
All the best.

Hi, you're all wonderful!
Leah ~ truncal LE, hmmmm, so ya think? Wondering this myself.
Bobbie ~ The bone and joint pain has been a long time issue. Starting to wonder if it could be fibromyalgia or something with my gluteous minimus muscle in my hip. So much pain lately !
Mary ~ Awww Mary, thanks for being right her for me. Soooo frustrated because my hip has been really in a lot of pain recently. I haven't even gone out to walk. The last time I did was over a week ago and came back limping it hurt so much. I really hate this because this was always the time of year I was running and fast walking. Even last year I was fast walking 3 miles a day 5 days a week. This year it's been just too painful. And because I've been so less active, I am not dropping the winter lbs.

Hi Barb,
Sorry to hear about the joint pain. I get it but not consistently yet. I can imagine how frustrating it is to want to do something that you enjoy doing and used to do all the time. My workouts have changed a lot since all this started, and I'm having trouble staying motivated. Maybe we can spur each other on!
Take care hon,
Sharon

Sharon ~ I get you about your workouts have changed since BC and not being motivated.
Veggiegal ~ My spring gardening is practically non existent now. I went to the garden center and got some plants for some of my containter gardening, but just am not up to getting them planted. I feel like a 90 yr old women.

Sherri, a cardio walk for 50 minutes is what I've been doing until the last month or so because it's just so painful. I've been holding back calling my onc because last year he did that week of scans because of my back pain but they came up clear. Now the right hip and thigh pain is so bad I limp when walking and it's horrible to do stairs. Again, I'm worrying about bone mets. I even went off the Tomoxifen for about a month but the pain doesn't go away so I started back taking it again.

Barb,
Gosh, I hope you get some answers regarding your pain. You are too young to not be able to take the stairs. It's time to call the Oncologist, and I hope he can help you out with some answers.
Hugs
Bobbie
