Seaside...I think your head will win the competition LOL
-
Excited and can't wait for the competition to begin!! Actually heard yesterday on the news that Pia has signed with a record company (I think Interscope ??) and they are just waiting on final approval from the producers at American Idol for the final ink on the papers, which will probably be after the summer tour if I guess right. So she will be o.k.

East Coast Ladies ... 5:50 p.m. PST .. What do you all think of tonight's episode? Who stood out?
Vicki Sam
-
Everyones been pretty good so far but Casey and I wasn't too impressed with what he chose to do (maybe I don't get his kind of music)?... Jacob, Haley and James still to go!
-
Thanks .. Mimi .. I forget it's a 1.5 or 2 hour show ...

Think Haley needs to cough real good to clear her throat! My hubby loves the sound of her voice. Still can't believe Pia is gone. She's already signed a deal with a record label tho. Thought Casey was good. He's unpredictable and I love the different instruments. It's anyone's game at this point!!!

JAMES DURBIN BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!! Sorry, that just Needed to be yelled!
-
Casey Cool, Stephano, Jacob Lusk ... wow
-
angel...Are you adopting James?
Can we have joint custody?
-
O.k. Vicki my picks for best of the night were Stephano, Lauren and James! Then Scotty, Haley and Paul would be my next picks.
-
James all the way to a win, and I don't even like heavy metal
-
James is the real package. I dont like heavy metal either.
I casted my vote on FB.
I have a feeling James and Lauren will be top 2.
I have even have a stronger feeling that James will win.
Again things are changing every week.
-
haha Sheila! Yes, I am and yes, we can!
-
Am I imagining or James either has a wife or girlfriend and there is a child involved?????????
-
I also think James will win. While I appreciate Casey's talent, I'm not sure his performance tonight will appeal to everyone
-
hrf....agree
-
I missed Paul's performance tonight and I love Bob Seger! Shannon, I agree with what you said about Haley but she sure did have an awesome outfit, no!?
-
Seyla,
I had to look it up but, no, you didn't imagine that...

"The San Francisco American Idol Season 10 Auditions brought us James Durbin, a 21-year-old married father of one who hails from Santa Cruz, CA. James has had a rough life, and it's still hard, despite the blessings of his young child and his awesome wife, Heidi. Heidi leaves little notes of hope and encouragement all over their little house that say stuff like "I believe in my gift" and such. James calls her his angel.
When James was nine years old, his father died of a drug overdose. After that, James was diagnosed with Asperger's and Tourette's syndromes, which are variations of Autism. He's unemployed right now, and they have a hard time buying diapers for their little kid. In fact, there is a current movement of people in Santa Cruz trying to raise money for the young couple, even though James can't have any contact with the press or his friends during this part of the broadcast."
I still just love him, tics and all! I can see much of my son, who also has those same tics, in James!

Hey girls... sorry I am late and
cranky
! Drove 200 miles in the stupid rain and against stupider drivers that should not have a DL, and that's the end of it!
Tonight's show: I MISS SIMON... that's all I have to say!
Can't stand Jacob but he gave me the goosie bumps!
Lauren still needs to dig deeper because she has a power house voice... but I guess being young might be against her.
Scotty... I wish he sang the other song! Did not care for this choice.
I did enjoy Stefano! He is growing and I love his voice and face.
I totally missed James b/c I was "hunting" for a Kenny Loggins song to play it to my daughter... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QaYDZ2-zHks just because sometimes I don't think I tell her how much I really love her... and this is what happens when you drive 200 miles by yourself in the rain and you listen to CDs... BUT as any teenager... she blew that too
! So no song for her... may you enjoy it.
Sorry about my mood... my cat nails are out and I guess I am really PMessing! Hopes are on for a better mood tomorrow. I just wanted to drop by and say Hi and I love you girls. Thanks,
Always me,
PS: James does have a wife and young son.
-
Well I have voted for my "favs" lol!! I multi voted
as usual because I have several picks though I do love Lauren, I love James too even the heavy metal song he did... I am from the Sammy Haggar era!! Gotta say WOW to that guitarist he was totally awesome!!!!!
-
Thanks Seaside.
-
NBN...I missed you tonight.
Sorry you are cranky.
When you listen to James you feel better.
Were you taping it?
-
No Sheila... I was in my car looking for the stupid song... and had a feeling that something was missing... duhhhhhhhh for me!
BTW... Jacob is no Clay Aiken!
-
Nobody really stood out for me tonight. I hate heavy metal, so had a hard time appreciating James tonight, (but absolutely loved him last week). I liked Casey's performance. And I too, wish that Scotty had done the other song, the little bit of it that he sang in the studio sounded really good and I just love that song. I tend to judge mostly based on how much I like the song as well as how well they sing it.
-
I am going to withhold any speculation on who is going home tomorrow because I know there are some who have yet to watch! Can't wait to hear everyone's opinions tomorrow!!!
-
NBN... I agree Jacob is no Clay Aiken
-
I'll give my 3 going home picks tomorrow. Good night.
-
I didnt understand what <Jacob is no Clay Aiken> means
-
my personal top 3:
Jacob
Lauren
Scotty
-
Hi Seyla... let me clarify my statement... I was ONLY talking about voices/styles... I adored Clay when he first showed up b/c here it was a little kid with a VOICE and a half... that's all I said... now that you brought the ? I see that my comment can be taken "the other way"
... none of that... I love all colors of the rainbow and all rocks in a garden...
