Yes, Amyjo, will remember the party on Monday and we will be practicing on Sunday which is my b'day!!
Alyson, the first cuddle is just too precious!!
-
Count me in. Spirit and liveliness are the only two things I've got left ~ thank goodness I value them most. You had me from the start with one of my favorite quotes, "Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most."
This Arimidex is driving me crazy so I'll appreciate being around a little good-natured insanity.

Welcome Stellar ~ I am very happy to meet you, though I wish it were under different circumstances. Our doctors can only suggest a course of tx, it is our decision in what we do. We are here for strength & support in whatever decision any of us make about our own lives. (at least that's what I'm here for). We have our own shoes to walk in. Would you be willing to share some of your holistic plan with us?
Alyson ~ Samuel. Is. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing such a lovely picture. I could almost smell his sweet little scent of newness.
I really think I need to look at more pictures of babies, it might help relieve some of my stress. Too much "life" happening lately & I'm letting things get to me. Sorry for the downer.....
Hugs to all.

Great time for birthdays hope they were all as good as mine.
Should have taken a photo of our meal last night it was soooo yummy and the pudding was to die for. DH and I went to a lovely restaurant near here. Diet day today haha

May I with 71 join your group? I was so springy before Femara (4 year more), now I'm hobbling around.... This group could be my stimulation!
Thanks for your recipe, pickle141.
Greetings at all

Hop right in slousha (just kidding). I have heard that glutamine helps a lot with the joint pains, along with fish oil. (((HUGS)))

edited to say....Oh, I know we will celebrate the Buckeyes win......sorry, UK fans.

Hey Marybe, so OH won, huh?
But,
I'm in MI & we're supposed to be bitter rivals, right?!?!
Well,
I'll break from the pack & be the first Michiganian to congratulate you!
Welcome Slousha!
Stellar, love your blog!
-
Valjean, To be honest with you, I have no idea who won...just said that to rile up Alpal who was cheering for UK. I went to bed and fell fast asleep and my Dad is asleep now so I cant ask him the outcome. If I go to bed at a decent hour, I am up in the wee hrs of the AM, like now and hate that.
Oh believe me I know all about OSU and MI....my mother was from Michigan (Northville) and met my Dad at Ohio State. She and her cousin used to have a shovel they would mail back and forth every year depending on who won the big game. My sister and I were both born in Northville....they say elephants go home to die and my mother went home to have her children.
I am going to go check out your blog since I am up Stellar. I guess everyone is asleep now except for those of you down under and maybe you Isabella.
-
We are certainly still awake Marybe. will be bedtime soon but with another cricket match about to start soon I quess we will listen most of the night. DH will get up if it gets exciting.
-
Pickle, great video! MaryBe, sorry to burst your bubble but OSU lost. So Val, they got it from UK, tee hee (sorry MaryBe). So tonight we will celebrate a Gators win (if they win this afternoon). Tomorrow is Suz's BDay then Monday evening we will celebrate AmyJo's last rad!!! YAY!!
Taking favorite types of cake orders: Suz? AmyJo?
Tonight I am going to see DH's band at a beach bar called Screwy Louie's. Cool place. It is two blocks from my old house. Too bad it wasn't there when I lived there because it would have been my hangout. If I get a good video, I will post a link to it.
Alyson, hope DH's team wins!
-
That's OK, Barb. KY is close by so it is alright that they won....a ton of people in this area actually go to UK. I don't even think my father was too upset by OSU's loss....I thought he had watched it, but when I saw him this morning and said, Well, Ohio State lost he said They did?, I went to bed when it was about half way over. The team he is really upset about losing, was the local highschool who made it to the semifinals. If ever there was a town that needed something good, it is this one....about the only time they make it to the news is for a drug bust or big arson case or for being the highest unemployment rate in the State.
I will celebrate the births and birthdays and even the Gators win with you along with the Wild Cats with what is hopefully my final fondue party of the season. Hopefully, the burner will not catch on fire as it normally does tonight. Off to the grocery store now to get some ingredients so I can make dessert. My dad has four coffee pots, all out and hooked up, but no mixer!! So I am going to my friend Kris's to whip something up there. Stellar, I liked your blog.
-
Screwy Louie's sounds like a great place for the band Barbara..let's all go
-
Well, MaryBe, I have to root for the Gators. They play at 4:30. Lisa, I will get a good video. Then link it here.
-
Barb - can hardly wait for the vedio. My favorite cake is carrot cake with the cream chees icing.
I am trying to get a lot of rest this weekend so I will be ready for the party on Monday.
-
Just wanted to say GO GATORS!! Winning at the half over Butler.
-
Florida vs Butler is turning into a close game. Will be watching for the finish.
-
And we are headed to OverTime!
-
Just got up from a 4 hour nap....I feel a little more human now! I like german chocolate cake, Barbara and thank you for asking!
Our 2 teams lost so an not keeping up with any of the others except on brief news reports.
Have a great fodue party, Marybe....you amaze me!
-
And Butler wins it 74 - 71. So sorry Barb and Gators. We can still party it was a great game.
-
I am bereft.
-
Barb...lovely avatar pic.
Isabella.
-
Who the heck is Butler?
Sorry about the Gators, Barb! I missed the game, but I'm sure I would be in shock! Butler?
Well, congratulations to the little guys - it's nice to see them win once in a while!
My Georgia Bulldogs got knocked out last week - something about a messed up timeout call, but que sera, sera. There's always next year!
-
Yes, Next Year!! Thanks, Isabella. That one is from 5 years ago, though. I look a lot rougher now.
-
Suz, I do NOT want to get up early tomorrow and wanted to wish you a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! And tomorrow we will have sexy waiters attending to the celebratory libations!
-
The flowering bushes, hydrangeas I think, and cherry trees are blooming here. We had sun twice this week and everything looked so pretty. I love spring flowers and summer flowers, well actually any and all flowers.
Back to dancing with the stars. I am not so sure I am going to keep watching but I will give it a try.
