Intrthecal chemo- to brain- any experience?

My wife and best friend has just found spinal c cells in addition two two small brain mets and several small lung mets.

Knock us right out of a perfect PARP trial.

Our aggressive treatment will likely fight mets on two fronts- lung through chest port chemo and spinal through omaya (sp) resevoir through skull.

To boot we're tripple negative. On plus side, I am married to one tough determined mother and grand ma of two beautiful grand girls. The 2 year old visited us in ICU today from complications from port installations.

Any worrd of advice- encouragement?

I have read others past experiences with the ommaya reservoir - if you do a search you can see posts in other threads. Also, Constantine K. on the site http://bcwatchdigest-brain.evidencewatch.com/ has good info. He helped one of our members CarynRose thru her journey. I can't offer any advice but wanted to sugggest checking out the triple negative foundation if you haven't done so.
