THE 3RD TA TAS SISTERHOOD REUNION IN VEGAS BABY!

Lilah - It WAS NOT THE CAPE CODS!! I swear to you! It must have been FirstMate and Heymoose keeping me up until 3 am gambling that did me in!
-
Jancie, that's not fair. I think it was the CAPE CODS!!!! If my recall is correct, you may have been double fisted or was I seeing double? (LOL)
Hi to all,
It has been quite awhile since my last visit to this site. Sorry I have missed everything that has been happening. To everyone having surgery and going through some hard times, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
I am very happy we are returning to the Mirage, it was a very easy hotel to get around. Will they have the rooms together in a block?
Can someone email the information about the TATA FB page?
Well heading to bed, I have not been feeling well the past two days. I think it is just a cold. Good noght all and welcome to all the newbies. It will be great to meet you in VEGAS.

Cheryl - see what happens when you are not here on BCO? We talk about you behind your back and blame you for everything!
-
LOL Jancie and Cheryl -- you guys are cracking me up!
-
Cheryl, I sent you a PM !!!
-
Very happy here about the Mirage... this is one of my top 5 hotels... good job!
PLUS... it is a cool hotel with a good pool and I loved eating at the pool twice... I liked the get around there too!
Good Job!
-
Oh you guys are gonna have a BLAST !!! I'm so sorry that I'm gonna miss it this year--but NEVER AGAIN!! I will be there no matter what after this year...
Boo Hoo
JUDY -
So I'm thinking......maybe I can figure out a way?....
-
Hey Firstmate, Jancie is talking about us behind our backs. I guess we will have to beat her at the slots and keep her up till 4:00 am!!!!!!!!!!
Laura, I received your pm. Thanks for sending.
Well, off to the couch, still not feeling well.

Journey -- yes please!
-
If we come on Thursday, will they strike us a deal, or do we have to pay full price?
Any suggestions on what to do if you come in on Thursday instead of Friday?
-
I would call and ask Dawn, using our code and talking to the contacts listed. My guess is a Thursday night will probably cost the same as a Sunday night (casinos tend to practically give away their Sunday - Thursday night rooms).
-
Lilah - Thanks! I'm a newbie to all of this ... need you all to spell it out for me! Thank you!
-
Yea for the Mirage!
They are part the of new M life Players Card. Highly recommend everyone who plans to gamble to sign up for one (if you don't have one already). It is so easy to earn comps which can be applied to room, food, etc.
I just got by Fluoroscopically-guided shoulder joint steroid injection today - that was a good time! I have not laid on my stomach since exchange and it was not comfortable. Hopefully when the steroid starts working that will help with the pain I have been dealing with. Both frozen shoulder and Calcific tendinitis on my left side. Will the fun ever end?!
-
JOURNEY>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> YES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think you should try !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then GO GET LINDA.........

WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Susie....... how many days sister?
We are the TaTa Sisterhood.................. new and old.
Bless us all !
FUMI............ if you are reading this....... PLEASE CHECK IN..... I am very worried about you........ actually... I was sick today thinking about you and all your family and entire country.
-
I agree, Fumi! We love you! I saw the news first on Twitter last night about 1:30 a.m. I then had a restless night as I prayed for you all as I tossed and turned all night. Check in! Praying for you! xo
-
Day posted on the pic forum that Fumi had texted someone that she is OK.
I hope so!
Fumi -- do let us know how you are.
-
good! I didn't see it!
-
OMG Fumi! Not sure where in Japan she lives? I pray she and her loved ones are safe. We have business associates in the southwest part of Japan and they are fine. Not sure how anyone in Japan could not be affected. Now the nuclear factor to worry over as well. Prayers!
Thank you Laura and Lilah... I need to get thru the next month and then i'll make my decision. Last year I was not prepared for the long nights and time change but if I can go this year I would want to go out a day earlier. I would love to have Linda come as well. We'll talk.
Ladies, this reunion thing is just amazing. It is so wonderful to connect (if only with a few) fellow bc sisters. Out here in real life so few of our friends, coworkers, family really " get it". When you are with this group it's very empowering and a great way to celebrate our lives. If you can swing it I would encourage you to go for it! -
4 of us sisters from SOS (Sep 09 chemo) will be joining y'all and we're getting excited!!! Look forward to meeting our "older sisters" - most of you seem to be a year ahead of us in this journey - and you probably have lots of advice and encouragement for us! "Will I see you, in September?"
-
Vickilynn ... I too am a Vicki Lynn and I am also from California. Southern....
Looking forward to meeting everyone .. Newbie here, but not to Breast Cancer and the Beast.
Vicki Sam
-
OOOHHH!!!! and the excitement is building already - Can not wait to see everyone again. Look out Vegas here we come again.
WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
-
And once again, VEGAS will not be the same when we leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Good morning Sisters, I have been checking the flight prices everyday and they jump up and down. Lastnight the flight and hotel were about 500 givr or take a few bucks. Which isn't too bad. Today I will be getting together with my sister hopefully to get a final answer from her, If not I may be bringing my 21 year old daughter and niece.. I really don't want to fly alone!
-
jkz - I know I checked last night and could get a flight round-trip for $374. I almost booked it ... but decided to wait. I need to know what the hotel will do for the rooms if I come early and stay late. To get a flight on Monday is $200 more expensive than if I wait until Tuesday but if you factor in the extra night for the room, it all evens out. Not sure what I'm going to do ...
-
200 days left till VEGAS Gals!!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok....Love & (((HUGS))) I'll be back shortly. Surgery check in got changed & I got bumped to 8:30am check in tomorrow. Of course I added a little something extra ....It appears I'm allergic to my support underwear LOL LOL Broke out in a rash called "GALDING"!! Hoping it doesn't affect the surgery..after all..it's in a different section of the bod LOL LOL ONLY ME!!!!!! I just had to add that with the MRSA...after all, want to keep the Dr.'s on their toes!!

Take care Chow for now GOD BLESS
XOXOXO Susie -
OMG Susie god bless you -- "Galding" from undies! -- who would think of it?
-
Susie I'll be praying and thinking about you tomorrow. Take care roomie!
-
For those booking flights, just a little tip. Never book flights tickets on a weekend. They are always more expensive. Book between Tuesday and Thursday. All the new pricing for airlines comes out on Tuesdays and then by the end of the day all the airlines have adjusted to be competitive. If you are looking at prices this weekend, look again on Tuesday to see if they are different.
Tracy
-
Susie,
Wishing you good luck tomorrow. Mom sends her well wishes for a speeding recovery.
(((((HUGS and PRAYERS))))) for you.
