Vegas girls, I so much want to go, but can't. Enjoy the awesome seafood buffets for me! I hope you guys make some great friendships.

I am going to Vegas March 25-28, planned the trip a week before the TaTa's 3rd Annual Vegas trip was planned
I wish I could swing two trips but financially I just cannot, I hope to make it next year.
My fur babies are pretty awesome, I have one in my lap as I am typing this, another at my feet. Thank you for all the sweet comments!

Loved the pics MissBianca! Our dog would roll over on his back and let the rat crawl across his belly! I guess that meant the rat was alpha!
Wonderland ~ Only a TWO hour nap after that? lol! What a story!
-
An alpha rat! l guess he would be The Big Cheese. lol
-
Some rats are not only Alpha Rat, they wear a hero cape and become Super Rat!
-
O2b, I love your furry family picture. They know when their mommy needs extra special comforting!
-
A picture of a rat in a hero cape?!?! I can't wait to tell my friends who inspect restaurants about this!
The picture really is kinda cute.

I've never been to Vegas before either though DH goes fairly often to conferences etc. He asked if he could come, but I said no!
-
Must beware of feline spies concealed in luggage to report all sisterhood shenanigans to DH's!
-
He's a cutie! (My kids, boys 21 and 23 can't imagine me going somewhere and having fun.) They only think they know me
-
Little do they know! hehehehe
I was curious about the Ta Ta Sisterhood convention, and which hotel will it be at. Does anyone know what is planned?
-
Ya'll are going to have so much fun!
-
I like the idea of random friendship.
You all have a great time in Las Vegas. I have never been but have always been struck by how much electricity that city uses.
-
Coolbreeze where are you friend?
Good morning to all my other new friends. Random friendship. I like that -
Hay Elaine - I'm in Kansas City, or Shawnee rather.. Not too far away.
-
Cool Breeze, I just saw your post tagged at the top. I don't go into this forum very much.
I remember you from the November 09 chemo thread. Didn't you branch off and do a December 09 thread? There are several of us that still post there and communicate on FB. Don't you know you have thousands of sisters!
And please don't ever wish for Stage IV. It's hard not knowing what my future holds. Right now, I'm NED, but that could change in a heartbeat.
-
Ann .. I am happy that you are 'NED' .. I have added you to my prayer list .. Please come back here .. so we can keep an eye on you!!!

Hi,
I dont understand why anyone would feel the need to reject you or anyone else from a paticular area of this awful disease. But I sure understand how it feels to feel lonely and on the outside of things.
Everyone refers to me as being strong - but sometimes I just dont feel that way - I feel alone and weak. I am alone in th world in terms of not having family - with the exception of my son who lives in the USA - I live in the UK. I sure miss him.
I am a 52 year old female, who once worked as a life coach, hypnotherapist and employment advisor.
In June of last year (2010) I was diagnosed with advanced, metastatic breast cancer.
The cancer was ver aggressive and had spread to my bones, lymph nodes, liver and a small area in lungs.
Last year in september, I suffered a fall in a shop which seem to cause major problems. Because prior to this the cancer had not caused too many problems aside from my hips, where I had around the saqme time suffered a missing cartilage.
Following the fall, i was wheelchair bound and confined even to my bed which was awful as i lived alone. since this time i have spent around three months in the hospice where i have receved great care and attention.
But suddenly, my liver started to heal - my whole body began to gain strength. My doctor along with many others, including of course myself, felt that it was a miracle. I have been receiving various forms of healing from different sources and many people had prayed for me during various periods.
I am able to walk using a zimmerframe and thankfully now have the use of an eletric wheelchair. I am returning home in a few weeks - though I confess I am nervous about it. But if I am continuing to build strength - heal - I feel it is necessary to start a new life there.
I have lost some friends since being so ill and as a consequence I feel the effects of this deeply, but I am hoping to make some new friends in time.
If you are interested in corresponding with me that would be great.
I am interested in many things - I am very spiritual and used to be very interested in maters relating to theosophy etc.
Maybe I'll hear from you soon.
-
Hypnolife, welcome to BCO and reaching out to us! I am so sorry for all you have been through. Your testimony of healing is so encouraging. I do believe in the power of prayer. There are friendship and prayer/spiritual forums on this site that you may be interested in as well. My father was from England, and still do have a large, extended family there. What part of the UK are you in?
I am glad you are getting the care you need right now. Is there a way that you can get some help, maybe from a church or community, when you return home? There are a lot of wonderful, encouraging women here, so we will be here to help support you.
-
Hey Apple I love your pink bow
I used to live on the Kansas side, from Manhattan KS myself. And you are correct we are basically in the same town now!
-
Hypnolife, I'm glad you found us!! XOXO
