THE 3RD TA TAS SISTERHOOD REUNION IN VEGAS BABY!

Hey Ladies....I have a favor. Many of you know my dear friend Kat, who comes with me on our Vegas trips. She is having surgery on March 8th. Total hysterectomy, she has been having lots of issues and they are pretty concerned. I won't go into all the details but they are doing a biopsy. If you would just say a prayer for her, send her a message on here and I will copy them into an email for her, I know it would mean the world to her and she would very much appreciate it. She's pretty scared of course and I think this will make her feel like she isn't so alone.
Thank you!
Teresa

Kat hang in there. I will be having my hysterectomy March 2nd ( not the robot style). My sisters B-Day but happy to say she's still willing to take me to the hospital. Kat we are tough chicks and we will get through this. I will be praying for you and hope we both recover fast. All though I do like the sound of 12 weeks off work lol but might only be 6.
-
Oh my gosh Kat! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers! You know we need you in Vegas (especially to let us in the room when we forget our key)! I hope everything is ok.
-
For all of you ladies having a hysterctomy I have to say my mastectomy was much much worse. Physically and mentally. I had my hysterectomy about 6 years when I was 36 because on on-going problems with pre-cancerous cells. The last straw was when I had a dermoid that grew in my uterus that was a size of a melon and actually set me into labor. Horrible I ended up in the ER and had emergency surgery to remove the mass which was the size of a melon and then 6 months later had my hysterectomy. Unfortunately, I was not one of the people who was able to have it done laparscopically because of the position of my uterus. I had plenty of stitches in my abdomen with all the muscles cut. The worst part was getting up and down for the first week or so..I will keep you all in my prayers and best of luck to all of you.
-
This is for Kat --- wishing you an uneventful surgery and a rapid recovery. Take care!! Robin
