Baby it's cold outside

A beautiful sunny day in WNY, but and it's a big but, only 20 degrees. Tomorrow we hit mid 30's and then a 40, HEAT WAVE. Sooo tired of winter, I hope that groundhog was right.

He was able to get 100 gal this morning, that will get him back to an in-network truck stop. He has a return trip from DuBois Pa to Charlotte so he won't be stuck there waiting for a dispatch. I rode with him one week after he started driving and I felt the same way, too much close time together and not any time to stop and shop at quilt shops.
Another beautiful day here in Carolina. Temperature in the low 70's. Going out to work in the yard again today.

ivtwoqit - It seemed I always got struck doing most of the night driving. I had a hard time sleeping during the day even though we had backout curtains and the bunk area was in total darkness. I missed fabric shopping and being able to read my books.
Cloudy, a bit humid and 75 degrees here today. Shorts and sandals are the dress of the day.
-
Cloudy all day and 70 degrees
-
Topped out at 57° today. Did work in the garage rather than freeze my fingers off outside, but the sky was clear and blue!
-
Going to be 86 tomorrow and I have to day off. Got a haircut appt in the morning and will see what happens the rest of the day. I should work out in my garden but will wait and see.
-
Currenlty 70 degrees @ 8:00 pm. Got up to 80 today. Such a nice walk tonight and it was beautiful. Shelia, glad the DH is going to be able to be on his way. No rain for awhile and getting warmer. We will have to water.
-
Our snow dusting should be gone by tomorrow ... temperatures are supposed to go up. It was cold today. Our dogs will not step foot outside if its raining but can't wait to get out in the snow - go figure.
-
Our snow is supposed to come tonight and could stay with some additional fall through Thursday.
-
mid thirty's this morning. Temps will be cooler today and chance of showers tomorrow.
Right now I am nursing a very sore throat, contemplating going to the doctor to get on meds before hubby gets home Friday or Saturday so I won't make him sick while he is on the road.

Its 24 degrees this morning - supposed to go up to 42 degrees.
-
Its freezing here.I know I should of hibernated.
-
How can something so beautiful (like snow) be so hated.
Meece ... love your squirrel!

-
Can't take credit for the squirrel, it was Mum's.
-
Now they are guessing that by the time the cold air gets to us, there won't be much moisture in it, so only a few flakes may make it to the valley floor.
-
Now the "models" show that the "snow" will get down to 700 ft. Guess we don't get our flake...Oh, yes we do, he announces the weather every morning!
-
Meece, LOL LOL.
-
Heading out in the bright sunshine today to "babysit" my mother who had surgery on Monday. Dad need to go grocery shopping. Hope your day is sunny as well.
-
That was very funny Meece. Nothing new to report today, same ol' same ol'. I think I'm going to increase my lexapro though so I can get through the last 2 months of winter. Ridiculous!
Sheila, glad hubby got out of dodge! Go see your doc so you feel good when he's home!
-
It is 87 degrees as I write this. Spent the morning doing long overdue yard work. Did not get finished but I am for the day. Have to do some baking later on this afternoon.
Hope everyone is having a great day!
-
Mom is not doing well and is in a lot of pain. Dad, who is 80 is frustrated that he cannot do anything to help her. I had to leave for a job interview, so I hope the rest of their day went smoothly.
I was watching the noon news with dad, and the expected snow level is back down to 400 ft. (This is all from the same weather-guessing flake).
-
Sorry you girls back east are having a bit of cold weather.
-
-
ROFL Meece. Those were funny. I'm so sorry your mom is in pain and sorry your dad is so frustrated. Hope your job interview went well. Good Luck.
-
Thanks, I think it went well, but I haven't interviewed in over 4 years and I was nervous. This is a large corporation and I think I would be much happier there than I was at the small corp I was at. There are several candidates interviewing and I should hear something tomorrow afternoon. Fingers crossed.
-
Meece - Will keep fingers crossed you get the job. Sorry to hear about your parents.
-
Thank you.
