Well tomorrow I am going to a support group at the hospital where my doctors are.  I am a little scared but think it will be good to meet other people with breast cancer in my area.  Say a prayer for me that I will be OK.

    I'm Back...

With the slow internet speed, I was afraid to check in on too many threads, for fear it would take so long, I would miss posts because I might not get through a thread before having to log off.  So This week will be catch up.

Lynniea, I will be praying for you as you set out on this journey.  Be prepared to cry when you go to the support group.  This will all seem like it is coming at you so fast.  I started to PM you, and lost connection. I willtry to remember all I was saying and PM today.

Seyla, did I miss something about Stage II?

Everyone, thank you for your prayers during Matt's surgery and our travels.  The flight home was uneventful, but the drive from the airport should have taken 2 1/2 hours and actually took 5 hours and 15 minutes!  One day DH and I will go on a vacation which won't include my family and medical issues.  Wink  Half of our days included hospitals or dr. visits.

BUT, everything looks like it is going well.  Mat saw more drs. yesterday. His coumadin level is in a good spot, although the dr. is concerned about severe bruising.  The device is securely in place in his heart and has not shifted.  Praise the Lord.  The dr. was able to place the device without injuring the aorta (which is elarged).  They will be watching that carefully, as if it continues to grow it could "open up".

Thank you for the song, Suz.  I love that one, too.

Matt says hello, and thank you, to all of his "aunties".

Thanks Meece It is a good idea to go .  I just spoke with my DR. and went over the last of the report.  He is still concerned because the receptors came back negative.  And said that it is aggressive in growth.  I am a little scared. I go for my MRI tomorrow.  Even though my lymph node came back clean he said he has one eyebrow up.  He said he is still a little worried.  We and my daughter are suppose to go the Maine this weekend to visit my niece and sister and cousin.  I have my Oncologist appt. on Mon at 1:45.  So we are planning to come back early on Mon.  Should I go or should I stay home I was thinking I won't beable to see them once the treatment get's started.

With all that was going on, I forgot to mention another praise.  While we were gone, the radiologist at my imaging center called and told me that they are still waiting for  "the expert" to look at all my tests, but as far as everyone so far is concerned, it is to be watched in the next six months,  Whew!!!  Thank you, Heavenly Father!

Go and have a good weekend, Lynniea.

Barbe, several pages back, you mentioned you didn't have your name in the sand, so I attempted to fix it.  No, I didn't get the water coming up to it, but I practiced some.

MEECE, I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! My name is in the sand in Hawaii and I haven't even been there!! That made my day. I'm sitting here like an idiot with a big smile and even called DH in. Thank you for remembering. Those of you who live on the sand may not realize how much it means to those of us who don't!!

I think I bored DH to death trying to get the writing on the sand and the waves.  I had a list I was going to write, and didn't get to it.  But yours was the first one I tried.

BTW, DH and I met online and he was Stretch, and I was...Meece!

I looked at the pic first and then read what you typed!  I was thinking, Wow!!  Matt is tall and his mom is almost as tall!  I should have guessed by the look on your face!  It looks just like Matt's when he is up to something!  Now I know where he gets it!!

Welcome back Meece.  How do I get in touch with the moderators?  I went to a support group at the Hospital and they usually have a big crowd but only 2 others tonight.  It was wonderful and did a lot of crying but needed.  The 2 ladies that where there were both going on there 1 year anniversary clean.  As I was leaving they handed me a beautiful lap quilt hand made by a group of quilters.  It was a great support and know now there is Hope all around.  Thanks for listining.  Have a great night

Thanks Barbe Yesterday I went to a local breast cancer support group I did a lot of crying but was good.  They usually have many members but only 2 came yesterday.  They all were very nice to see people face to face.  They let me talk and express my concerns.  Upon leaving they gave me a lap quilt that was made by local quilters.  I told them about this place and how It has helped me in my beginning stages

Okay I've fallen behind AGAIN and I am sorry. But I need your helpful prayers that the pharmacy company know what it's doing. They have removed hundreds of women from the MIRACLE Parp drug, me included. Now they may change there mind but after 4 treatments they pulled me. It's goofy to explain so I;m just asking for faith from above to guide these people to do the right thing. In the mean time doing chemo once a week and doing well. Love you all and I swear I will try and get on here more oftern. My big sis is in town and we are working on wills and heavy duty stuff like that.

    Pink hugs, Lisa
