I find myself sitting a 4 am needing Jesus and in the still of the garden you are right there.  I thank you for bringing me closer to you.  In the still of the night there you are in the mist of us.  I come right now with the healing touch for Mel let her know that you are with her and you want her to come back home where you belong in the arms of Jesus.  I feel like we have been through so much and it's time we put all our trust in you from the top of our heads to the soul of are feet. In the Name of Jesus We have the Victory.  I also know Lord when I walk into that Dr office I am excepting a miracle from you. THANK YOU JESUS.  We hear of miracles all the time and now in my darkest hour it's my turn no wavering just a old time apostolic healing. And I thank you for it right now. Amen

Lynniea and Eph, your beautiful words reminded me of Jesus praying in the Garden. Matthew 26: 36-46.

    gateway

    Garden of Gethesmane

    Matthew 26:39

And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will."

I hold all of my sisters up in prayer. ♥

Well, I was not able to get online yesterday.  Medical appointments then and afternoon of trying to get matt's mind off things.  We did spend a couple hours on Waikiki, then went for a drive as the rain came down with a vengence.  Today the sun is supposed to be all day today, but we have been at the hospital since 6:00 am.

Mess ups with paperwork delayed things for a couple of hours and Matt has been in for the past 40 minutes. He was certainly not himself, very quiet. He was very concerned.  They forgot to have him sign some papers, so I had to go back to admitting to sign them, and when I returned, they had already taken him, so we were not able to pray with him.  I am sure he has said prayers himself, as have we.

    Thank you, kathy.

Grace just called, and I found a lovely spot by a window that had decent reception.  The sun is shining and the sky is a beautiful Azure Blue.  He sure knows how to inspire us.

Prayers for Melody and for Faithie's friend.

Dear God, take the surgeons hands in Your Own and guide them with care. Please give Matt the chance he needs to bear witness again. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Matt came through the procedure just perfectly.  At this time he will not need open heart surgery.  He will need to be continually monitored every 6 months or so for his aorta, to make sure it doesn't open up.  He needed this to go right, and it did.  The cardiologist regularly travels to Okinawa every 4-6 months and will see him then.  I can't help but wish they would send him home.  But in all things, may His will be done.  Perhaps this is enough for the military to realize he needs to be home.

The next six months will be stressful, as the repair done today will increase the potential for forming a clot(s) in the left atrium which can cause strokes, until it has completely healed as now there is a foreign object in that portion of the heart.

Thank you ladies for your prayers, God has listened and given us wonderful news today.  God is Good.  We serve and Awesome God!!!

We sure do have and awesome God. I have one more day until I know what is in my future.  What ever it is I will take as his will.  If It had not been this way so far I would not have met all you wonderful people.  I do have to say this is my favorite place to come because you hear about what God has done in each of our lives.  Sometimes it not what we want but it is for the best.  We have to know that God is in control and that is what counts.  Not my will be done but yours.

Good Morning everyone God is so gooooooooooooooooooood.  He has a way to calm our nerves.  I know what it feels like in the military I was in for 11 years.  That is when I found God and I was suppose to go over seas our church prayed and for some reason at that time that had no space for me.  And you know Uncle Sam when he says move you move.  But with Our GOD all thing are possible.  I will continue to pray for Matt.

    HAPPPPPPPPPPY Dancing!!!

    What an awesome report, Meecie.

Thanks for finding a way to keep us in the loop.

I was thinking this morning, how brilliant the timing in your being able to be there & in such a magnificent setting. Truly a gift from heaven. No matter what comes on down the road -- you were able to be together there in pre-paradise and hold one another up.

I still celebrate that I was able to be there for the birth of my grandchildren..... no matter the future, that milestone is one that my daughter will always be able to hold on to. Same thing in being able to help DD2 orchestrate the wedding of her dreams. We were able to be there, with bells on & celebrate the extravaganza with smiles from ear-to-ear.

Don't know that I'll get to live to be 120, but I was able to be completely involved in these milestones for my daughters and for that I am grateful every new day that arrives.

God has taken a very challenging time in your family's life, Meecie and built a bridge for you to be together in the midst of the challenge. HALLELUJAH!!!

Now go soak up some sunshine and click us some pictures. Exhale.

((((((((((((((Meecie & Matt & Mr. Meecie)))))))))))))

Lynniea, you can do this. You are surrounded by the love of us who have faced down similar tough legs of the journey. If we did it -- then you can too.

Cry, scream, rant, eat cookie dough, pound a pillow or sit and watch the sunset, whatever it takes to keep you moving forward. You can do this. We know you can and we're proud of you for asking for our support in the midst of the tough stuff.

    xx00xx00xx00xx00xx

    Strength and courage.

    Strength and courage.

    Strength and courage.

P,S, When do you get to go to your exclusive koi farm excursion??

Meece! HOORAY! All will be well my friend.

    ANOTHER HALLELUJAH

I love You Lord with all my heart
You've given me a brand new start
And I just want to sing this song to You
It goes like this the fourth the fifth
The minor fall the major lift
My heart and soul are praising
    Hallelujah

    (chorus)
    Hallelujah, hallelujah
    Hallelujan, hallelujah

    (verse 2)
I know that You're the God above
You're filling me with grace and love
And I just want to say thank You to You
You pulled me from the miry clay
You've given me a brand new day
Now all that I can say is
    Hallelujah

The internet here is sketchy, therefore not many posts.  i had all the time in the world yesterday, but a weak conection at the hospital.  Hotel isn't much better.  I suppose it is because of all the tall buildings around.

When we played at the beach Monday, I practiced my sand writing.  Faith I have and even GREATER respect for your talents.  Trying to upload pictures right now, but speed is

    s---l------o-------------------------------------w .

If all goes well we will pick Matt up from the hospital sometime this afternoon.  he was ready to get out of there last night.  Oh, military hospitals... 4 beds in one room, and one of the guys had four visitors and they were all watching his TV, loudly.

MissB-Lincoln Brewster took the song "Hallelujah" & changed them to Christian lyrics-we sang it in church this last Sunday!  I love the melody of this song-it's great to harmonize to, which is what I am-a harmonizer!

I love to sing, too. I love Leonard Cohen's song, and now I have new lyrics to sing it with! Thank you for posting them, God works in mysterious ways.

"How Great Thou Art" is my absolute favorite hymn ever, we always use it for funerals, and other life celebrations. I haven't been able to get it out of my head since I read this the other day! As soon as Winter subsides I will hopefully be posting pictures of my garden - right now with at least 24 inches of snow covering it - it's hard to believe - but I have FAITH!!!!!!! Ellie
