So many needs, so many prayers! Meece and Matt, lynniea, the list goes on and on. Heard of Ms Marilyn (from Mastectomy November 2009) in hospital with a heart attack. We do serve an awesome God who is in Control and is Able. He sees the big picture and knows how all things will work out, and works all things together for good. If we can only trust Him to do what He knows is best! It's so easy to try to run the program ourselves! Let's continue to put our hands in the Hand of Him who does all things well!

Praying for all, and so glad that God knows the needs of all!

Lynniea, "This is the day that the Lord has made..... let us rejoice and be glad in it."

    Continue to breathe deeply.

We will all go along with you this afternoon. We'll be safely tucked in your pockets and purse. Just keep patting your purse if you need reassurance & one of us will pop up & say a word of encouragement.

    We're all here with you.

You don't have to do this alone.

(((Meece and Matt))).  Soooo happy things are going better for your boy!!!!  Prayers for all the wonderful women here.  I had my last chemo treatment Tuesday and see the Radiation Oncologist tomorrow then go back next week for the tattooing, CT Scan and simulation of an actual treatment.  *Sigh*  It is going to be a long haul those 6 1/2 weeks of radiation.  It is about an hour and 10 minute drive for me one way.  I love the center though and the Dr.  He's older but really at the top of his field in radiation oncology.

There is a picture and an article about my breast cancer struggle in the paper today.  That happened when I had the cake made for the nurses, Dr.'s and patients at my Oncology office for my last day.  We called it "Graduation Day" and I had this beautiful cake made with wording and then a dozen awareness ribbons in the appropriate colors of the cancers I knew were being treated or had been treated recently at the center I go to, all done in frosting.  The decorator did a beautiful job on the cake.

Now that chemo is over, I am scared a bit.  Since I'm Triple Negative and there are no targeted therapies (and the Parp that was showing so much promise in mets Triple Negative has now fallen through with as not working like they had said at first) for me, once the radiation is done it is just God and me to place me in remission, hopefully permanently.  I'm scared but do NOT want that to rule my life.  I want to have a fuller and larger trust in God then letting this fear over run my life.

    Hugs everybody,

    Juanita

Juanita, I hear you! I had NO chemo, rads or AI's or Tamoxifen! They said my double mast was enough. After reading all I've read on the board, I dunno.......

Still reading everyone's posts.  Will be praying for you today, Lynniea.  You are strong enough to handle whatever comes your way, because you serve and awesome God!

Juanita, would you post a picture of the cake?  I'd love to see it.  Or is it posible to see a link to the newspaper article?

The weather has been nasty here, but we were not here for the vacation aspect anyway.  Today is the day we head to the koi farm.  Forecast indicate possible electrical storms.  Hopefully they are wrong.  Here is last night's sunset. (Sorry it is so small, but because of connection speed, I had to go small.)

Meece, I will try to post the picture sometime.  I have to get it downloaded from my camera to the computer first.  The last time I tried to download pics from my camera to my computer, it almost crashed my computer.  I got that dreaded light blue screen with the writing on it.  Scared me so much I didn't read the writing, just shut everything down.  When I booted back up all was ok.  Geesh, dummies with a computer like me.  I'll also point you in the direction of the article if it goes to online print.  So far, it hasn't yet.

    Hugs,

    Juanita

congrats, Juanita.. finished AND you made the paper.. its' the same for all of us; no matter what..after we finish he tx.. its' just us and God. some have hormonas, some don't . but, your body has betrayed us once, so for at least me; im always afraid it will again.. if you don't have a large faith, this experience certainly stretches the one you DO have. at least, for me, it has. I really have changed alot on the inside, as well as on the outside. some is better than others... I see you BARBE! hope all is well for you...

Dear Juanita, You are done with Chemo, Alleuia!!!!! Radiation is so much easier, but it is every day for 6 weeks, can be tiresome, but it will go by fast for you. Hey, and God is your best targeted therapy after this is all done. You are going to do great with Him by your side. Give your fear to HIm and all these wonderful ladies on this board. You will be a role model for everyone. God bless you, Kathy

Hi all Dr told me it is stage 2 breast cancer.  Not all the test were back yet but will send me the report when all is there.  I have to go get MRI on the 16th Feb., See oncologist the 21st,and back to him on the 28th.  He was talking about chemo first to try to make it smaller.  I know I am gonna beat this through JESUS.  Will let you all know what it is when I receive the pathology report.  I am going to need all your support now more than ever.

lynniea-it's not OK, but it will be OK, eventually!  Your plan of attack at this point has been laid out for you in steps: MRI-16th, Onc-21st, return visit the 28th.  WE are with you but most importantly HE is with you.  Let Him carry you!

Thank you all.  I know that you all will be there.  We went to Chinese restaurant at the end of the meal fortune cookie read "To Live Your Life In Fear Of Losing It Is To Lose The Point Of Life" How ironic.  That is so true.  I know God will take me through this.
