Mum ... that is a breathtaking picture.

NM ... Groundhog day is February 2!

It is 31 here and we will have ice tomorrow morning and then Wednesday it is supposed to go up to 50!  Maybe it will melt some of this snow.  The only problem with melting snow is if the temperatures dip below freezing we have ice rinks all over.

Mum, as usual, you have the mostest-perfect pictures!!!

We actually got .16" of rain yesterday.  That will be great for our drought.  At least it won't run off like the December storms.  No more rain expected in the next 10 days.  Just more fog.

Last week the weather guessers were saying we were going to get more snow this week, now they are saying it is going to be rain since the temps are above freezing. Right now I have temps about 40 degrees and the low is supposed to be about 36. My hubby is up in Bensalem PA and it is snowing! He spent most of the day in New Jersey and he is ready to head south as soon as they get the truck loaded in the morning.

Freezing rain/drizzle here but it is going up to 37 degrees.  Tomorrow it will be between 48-50 degrees.  I pray it melts some of this snow.  The roads are dry and clean but I don't want to see any snow!

There are two instances where I should have let the weather be my guide ... one was when my Dad was transferred to Buffalo, NY - I stepped off the train into hip-deep snow and the other was when I was re-locating to Pittsburgh - came through the tunnel into big fat snowflakes - it was April 15!

Tiffany ... stay in, stay warm.  Watch the snow from the window!

I am heading to Santa Monica today for tests.  Weather is supposed to be blue skies and 63°.  Not as warm as I had hoped, but seeing a nice blue sky will be nice.

Welcome, Tifj.  Hope you have a neighbor who got a snow blower!

Kathleen- I am defintely watching from inside. I had two Drs. appts. today and cancelled both-I don't want to get the kids out in this!

Meece- The only snow blower I have is my husband! He usually likes to shovel, but he is dreading going out in this! Our closest neighbor is 80 something years old and he doesn't have a blower either!

Karen- we don't have the raw temps yet, but will be getting them over the next 2 days. Try to stay warm!!

It is currently snowing very heavy and blowing so hard it's hard to see very far. I imagine we will be in the house for a couple of days at least!

I'm watching this from indoors also, they are making it sound like Buffalo's winter of 1977.  Huge blizzard over several days, had to have the national guard come out to clear the streets.  I was working at a residential school and was on duty for 4 days until people came in to take our position.   I was within 5 miles of the school and they sent a jeep out to get me.  It was quite the experience.  Wonder if this one will live up to the hype it's getting.  Hopefully we will not lose power.  Everyone stay warm and be safe.  Karen

I'm feeling for you girls!  Wish I could blow some warmer (I don't consider 45 too warm, but certainly warmer than what most of you have!) air to you!  Be SAFE!

Right now its in the 30s, but supposed to hit mid 50s.  Unfortunately my least favorite weather...wind...will accompany the temp.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!   I'm sorry you all are under the weather-HA!

we have beautiful blue skies, right now it's about 38, but supposed to get to 50!  I'm just sayin'-Southern Oregon is the place to be-45 minutes from snow skiing, 25 minutes from water skiing (in proper temperatures of course), fishing, hiking, 2 hrs from the Pacific Ocean and California at our feet.  Come on over!

I know I should not whine with the blizzards going on - but it is 37 degrees and I live in deep South Texas.  This kind of weather for us is unheard of.  Low tonight is going down to 26 and they are calling for a "wintery mix" tomorrow.  I moved here for the much warmer winters - UGH!

Told my DH we are going to have to move even further south like Cozumel or Belize.  Enough is enough!

Buffalo and surrounding counties dodged another bullet last night.  Looks like Chicago got what people think of when they think of the WNY area, school was closed today but I think it was on the basis of what was forecast, not what we got.  It is snowing right now, forecasters say another 2-3 inches secondary streets have already been plowed.  Kind of tired of snow every day though!

It is too cold.  I was in a bad car accident 15 years ago and had alot of nerve damage to my left side.  Most of the time I am fine but this cold weather has me cramping like crazy.  A while ago I could not get my toes on my left foot to quit cramping, yikes.

Toe cramps can be so painful!  Can you warm them up, or soak in a hot tub?
