I was Stage II with clear margins, with no node involment, had chemo & rads in 2009.   I am curious to see how often you have a mammogram and CT scans, or any other test?   I am having a mammogram 1X per year, and CT scan every 6 months and on Tamoxifen.   Just want to make sure my oncologist has me on track.   Thank you all!

Interesting that you are doing the mammo only 1x per year.  I am just fininshing up treatment, but have been told that my schedule going forward will be mammo every 6 mos and scans only if symptomatic.  I plan to have symptoms once a year.  With all the "mammo missed it" talk, I would just assume do that 1x per year like you.

I was on the same follow up with Mammogram once a year but no scans.

TM blood test every 4 months until today.

Also I'm on Femara will be 5 years in March and my oncologist is taking me off.

I was diagnosed January 2010, and just got my yearly mammo this month.  I'll be having them once a year.  No CT scans; CT scans have significantly more radiation exposure than mammo's, so I'm kinda glad to limit those.

I was diagnosed in August 2010 and due to have my yearly mammo in July.  My onc says once a year is enough.  I see him every 4 months - he does labs and I have been on Tamoxifen.  No other scans or tests unless it is indicated.

Each onc does it differently I am finding out.  Some are even seeing their BS for 6 month followups for the next couple of years.  Why, I did not know if they have an onc.  The fewer the doctor appts the better.  I trust my onc is covering all the bases.
