Reconstruction TOMORROW!!!!
Hi ladies,
Hard to believe I am finally at this date, but my DIEP flap reconstruction is scheduled TOMORROW at 7:30am at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore! Can't believe I have made it through to this day, and could not have without all of your support and guidance. I am getting a bit nervous, but praying that all will go well. I'll be in the hospital for at least 3 to 4 days, so I may not post here for a while. For those of you with me on Facebook I hope to have my hubby post an update once he can.
In the meanwhile, THANK YOU ALL for all your love and support, and to all the new ladies---THIS WILL BE YOU, before you know it. And YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!
Love you all,
Sharon

Go for it! Good luck! Just remember (with a smile) that the first day or two will be rough. But it gets better very quickly and the results are so worth it. Check back when you can after the surgery and let us know how you're doing!

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Let us know how you are .

Wishing you all the best. I had my reconstruction on Wed and am doing really well. Just on an anti-inflamitory and not in a great deal of pain. It starts to give one a feeling of wholeness.
