Ya wanna meet at our new Walmart?  I don't know if it's a superstore one.  It doesn't look overly large from the outside, but I'm sure there will be plenty of aisles for us to saunter down.  I hear they even sell cleaning products.Wink  I may skip those aisles.

Where we are down here, Walmart is our closest grocery opportunity..... so we are there at least once a week now. It's one of their HUGE new, big, sprawling ones. Thank goodness our cell phones work inside of it -- because we're always getting seperated from one another and "lost."

    Happy weekend, bunnies!!!

Hi Faith! Been humming your tunes again today..come dance somore..etc etc. They put a spring in my step. Are each of the ditties as good as each other? Wow.

Hi Sharon. re tests: The Macmillan onc, via a call from my onc, then an exam, is who finally ordered the ct, so it is not the normal route. The cancer hosp wanted my gp to follow up and refer me for "investigations" to different specialist, but as the gp only, and reluctantly at first (then he heard my chest, when I insisted that was a reasonable thing to do) sent me to the thoracic specialist but not the other ones. So all that to say that, am not sure how long the Macmillan onc will take to get back to me via my nurse. I am not waiting as such. I will give them 10 days, then call.  Seriously calm as I do not have that "feeling" that it is c a n c e r, rather lots of post chemo (fec-t) stuff or other. Will be seeing the chest physician on Wednesday morning to see if my chest is behaving better post the mega dose 1 month antibiotics. It does seem freer if that makes sense. we shall see. I do want to get sorted though so that my perky happy grateful mind and spirit can be better matched to my, currently lemonette body. That would be nice, not essential, just nice.

Wishing you all happy pain free days!

xx Ahhhh, Walmart, do they have a hotel attached to one.. I could so see myself going to Sharron's one and all of us Walmart bunny girl having a shopping and giggling weekend.

    HUGS!

All this talk of Walmart ... we have a super Walmart close by and spend a lot of time there since it is one of my sister's favorite stores (Walmart, The Container Store, Costco and Chicos, in that order!).

Faith ... here I am!  Your stories are never boring - some of us live vicariously through you.

Arnie ... hey girlfriend ... its been ages!

Coonie .. thanks for the PM.  It is so good to hear from you.  Our tree is still up - that's right, STILL UP.  It does, however, make a great nightlight.

Sharon ... I wish I was that bunny with the bottle!

Barbe ... how's the new place?  How are your grandbabies?  Getting bigger by the minute?

Vivvy ... I will pray for all the victims and their families.  You stay dry.

Shiny ... the holidays are always special when you have children.  Hope your kids had a great time.

My sister is related to some of your sisters!  She loves to host at her house - the problem?  She wants everyone over early to do the prep work for the dinner and the cleanup.  However, if she goes to anyone else's house she doesn't lift a finger - literally!

The holidays ... Jeesh.  What can I say?  Get any family together and suddenly you are 5 years old and all the old buttons get pushed.  I read somewhere that, of course your family can push your buttons, they installed them!!!!!

I hope everyone else had a good holiday season.

Kathleen!!  Great to see you sistah.

Oh I know what you mean about family get togethers..........DH and I spent Christmas alone and had a beautiful day.  We feel very lucky.  I love my family but not when we are altogether.  It took me a long time to figure that one out.

    Hugs.

What a joy to come in and see so many!!!!!!

Love hearing the snippets and LOVE hearing the updates!!!

Tomorrow morning, first thing, I have a call from EUROPE regarding the idea of this opportunity unfolding. Perhaps I will have a little more to share after tomorrow??? There are lots of ducks and details to get into a row, for this to happen. It's a thrill of a lifetime to even contemplate!

We have company flying in from WI to spend the rest of the week. I've done more housework this morning than the previous three days combined! LOL.

It's good to get things organized more & more! We still have tons of boxes still awaiting attention in the garage, but if they've waited this long, we figure that they can't be too critical.

Barbe how'd ya stay motivated?? It's about time for some baby pictures GiGi!

Hugs all around the bunny hutch. So glad to see you Kathleen & Arnie, our missing bunnies.

DearestShinyofLemons......... your dear, sweet AMAZING spirit is truly a beacon. How much your words are a light and so insightful for the rest of us, when we are feeling less than perkie. Bless you dear lemonette -- may they get a glimmer of an answer and then another and another.

Coonie, that dear child singing is just absolutely amazing. Wow.

Sharon. The bunny on his back with the bottle: truly cracked me up, in the very best way!

    xx00xx00xx00xx

VivvyGirlofTomorrow: sending hugs and love all the way down to your front door.

Barbe, Sharron,Coonie,Vivvi,Faith, KATHLEEN even! Wow, what a turn out! Good to see you all.

Faith, hope things develop as hoped for your Tour tomorrow!

Keep us posted, and come dance some more!over here.

I just got back from helping a school mum with her design project on a college course. Felt good to be helpful in that domain. I graduated yeeeeaaars ago and never used the degree much after that, except to help out friends from time to time so it was interesting to delve back into the whole thing again, but especially nice to help her refocus and get rid of her nerves; Nothing like a sounding board, and chat to get all the worries out. I remember a dear friend of mine from uni, forcing me to come out to Hyde park in London for an afternoon picknick during my final disertation and getting me feeling like I could just about manage to finish the darn thing and be done with it.. Gosh, I don't miss uni!

Got to dash!DH off to Italy very early in the a.m.so want to visit with him.. thinking of you all and sending peachy vibes your way. Take care.

I know this is heresy on this site, but I have been trying to 'straighten' out around here - in other words, the dreaded housework!  Its a losing battle - I simply cannot put things away as fast as my sister can buy them!

I have been longing for an apartment to call my own.  I applied to an 'over 55' apartment and hope one comes through soon.  The only way I can keep my sanity is to plan out the decorating of it.  My plan is to decorate in the 20s to 40s period (depression era).  I have a bedroom set already which is currently in one of the bedrooms here at my sister's place.  Anything else will have to wait until I actually move.  I've always loved this era although I grew up in the fifties.

"Well, that's my daydream.  We have been in a deep freeze and I am quite sick of it.  We are getting that "mix" of rain, freezing rain and snow which doesn't require shoveling but makes walking and driving slippery and dangeous.

    Everyone stay warm!!!

Keep Day dreaming Kathleen! It's good for the soul. Hope you get your own special to yourself home soon. I am in a decluttering phase also. THe antibiotics seem to be helping so am trying to reclaim my office and then get some "heating in it" (it used to be part of the garage, so no heat, which is rather useless at this time of the year". I feel quite fired up, have been doing some major resourcing and networking to get more SEN training for the school, and extra support for DS, and helping a few other parents in the same boat this a.m.. with strong coffee on board, so was buzzzing.. now am at the other end, where the coffee rush has been replaced with a "whooped" feeling. Must get some Lunch then off to the shops and school.

Hope the sun comes out for you Kathleen!

    Take care loveys.

ohhh how silly are we?? he he,come on..we all "do it" Coonie..."the first step is acceptance daaaaling" "I Shiny, do housework..quite regularely-

never obsesively-sometimes it can be quite satisfying,(I said sometimes!)

I am never truly on top of it all, and I never let it get in the way of enjoying precious little moments or cuddling my kiddos- I ALWAYS leave the floors to someone else now, and sometimes I have a MOUNTAIN of clean folded laundry sooooo high as to merrit being named "Mount schoolclothes".

There, I have confessed!! Whewww, wish I could say it is making my breathing less weezy, anyhooo, in bed at 20:29. Sorry Coonie, I didn't pop in in time to save you from your floor. Mopping is not lymphedema friendly. How are your pains? Leaving you alone I hope. Hope you are having a lovely cup of tea now with your feet up.

    take care,

    Shiny
