Ahaha!
-
Glad to hear your FIL is on the mend. I hope he gets back the use of his limbs.
-
I need help with
tri-tip
fukitol pill
-
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sound out the name of the pill real slowly............
-
Thanks. I hope so too. And his speech. So frustrating not to be able to communicate. And it was his right side that was affected and he is right-handed - so he won't even be able to write what he wants to say easily. He plays piano - I hope he can regain that much function. Maybe that's asking a lot, but I'm going to ask anyway.
-
I have a long and twisty colon so the doctor wants me on fluids for 2 days so he can reach the cecum. 5 yrs ago I had an incomplete colonoscopy. So they told me I had to go for a Barium Enema w/air Contrast to see the cecum. I want to avoid that again don't want to take time off work just because they don't have a longer hose.LOL

Diane...What do you mean by different salmon. The size, the texture the color/
((DEB)) ((SANDY))
Hi chabba.
-
I will be in in the morning, Christmas decorations are coming down with the help of DD. Her cats love sleeping under the tree.
-
Boy Deb, you have all the luck.
Wishing FIL the best. My Grandmother lost her right side of her body from a stroke so I know what you mean. I sure hope he can speak and play piano. I bet he just loves that.
Good night Ladies!
-
Air contrast - that's sounds painful. Were you quite musical afterward? I can see how you would want to avoid that.
-
Wild salmon vs farmed. The cheaper vs the more expensive.
-
We ended up with 4 inches or so of snow after all. It's so pretty out. Snow lightly falling. No wind.
-
Sheila, to answer your question to Diane, all of the above. The biggest differences are in texture and fat content. The texture of the pacific and alaska salmon is firmer and the fish is oilier. We have several varieties that range from almost orange through a kind of pink to red. All are good. I happen to be especially fond of the sockeye but a lot of people swear the king is the best. It does get good press.
-
chabba....We have sockeye but its very expensive.
OOOh I want freshest salmon.
-
Linda - Chabba explained well - it is not just the difference between farmed and fresh - our fresh is even very different than yours - a completely different texture and oil content. It is really outstanding. I can get great fresh sockeye for 8.99/lb at it's best. We also even have white salmon which tastes like king to me.
Sheila or anyone - I can send you some next season but you will have to stay home and not go to BB&B that day.
Tri-tip is a kind of steak.....
My DH produces the fishmeal to feed the farmed salmon, shrimp and eel....
-
Diane...I decided to move near you.
No BB&B. i need to save my money to visit Hawaii in May
Of course i have an oncologist appt on FEB 21.
the tickets are too high now.
Im checking them every night. I got a very good deal last year.
I missed my daughter. She called me before and we talked.
-
Ok Sheila - that sounds good to me. I can walk to pretty much everything here so you will be comfortable.
Do you use kayak.com to check airfares?
-
I use almost every site. Yes Kayak too.
AA has a cheaper flight with 1 stop each way but the hours are so weird.
Going there Its okay but coming back i need non stop.
I flied with Continental through Expedia last year.
By February they stop drpping the fares.
i have time not in a rush so i check at least twice a day.
-
i have been told midnight is when to check...
Where in Hawaii? Which airport?
-
Oahu Honolulu Airport
-
You are up too late! I am ready for bed and it's only 9:30
But I did do planks with the trainer and lots of crunches, the stairs 10 times, the treadmill forever, sit-ups, the medicine ball, the stretchy thingy...yup, I am tired.
-
Good Night
To Be continued tomorrow Morning.
HUGS♥
-
Hugs back at ya!
-
I just realized what we need invented - we need a treadmill with a built-in keyboard and screen for BCO - then we could talk with each other, read valuable information, and get exercise.
-
-
hey - maybe the treadmill could be equipped with voice recognition software so you don't have to worry about trying to type while walking, etc.
-
Something like this??????????
-
ok Sela where do you want to leave from and when do you want to go, i love doing this stuff...do you need a car?
It is snowing yet again been i the house for 2 days need to go out to the mall....or want to go to the mall either or out!!!
-
My DH set up a work out area for me. He's awesome. I have a treadmill, eliptical and a recumbant bike, along with weights etc. I have cable TV, a speaker system for my ipod and a place for my lap top. I can watch tv, surf the net, or listen to music while I exercise. Typing is hard on the laptop so I jus tend to read posts. It's silly but keeps me on my equipment.
Going car shopping in the snow.
-
Seyla has been helping me at finding good rates on flights to HNL. She's good at it!
