It is the only place I can go to talk about my worries and fears without creating more stress in my life.

Unfortunately, I've been on breastcancer.org for 4 years because of a recurrence.  But, I am VERY THANKFUL for every visit to this site.  It's uplifting, educational, comforting and stimulating.  I can complain without fear of shocking anyone. And I know we have laughed over some pretty crude stuff if it got out!  We've also asked one another good questions to help us along the way. Thanks for this great forum.  God led me here I am sure.

BCO and the wonderful women here have helped me to understand and cope with BC since shortly after being diagnosed in September 2008.

Hello...When I was first diagnoised I thought it was a DEATH sentence. I thought I was going to leave my husband my poor kids behind. However, after reading these discussion boards you soon realize the BC circle is HUGE a then I found HOPE and felt like I was not alone.

when I got diagnosed, BCO was there. When I had questions about reconstruction or risk factors, you were there.

To all the wonderful incredible women that make up this life saving forum, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will be having surgery in a few weeks and will always come back often for support and to support others. It's truly an inspiring community that I'm proud to be a part of.

I found that BCO is a great place to get questions answered, concerns shared, super support when life gets shakey.  It was a great place to come to laugh, share cyber margaritas, and get courage to cope with a new diagnosis.

I am still waiting on test results after an inconclusive biopsy.  This forum has been a lifesaver, calming me and letting me know what I can expect with humor and love from people who have gone there before.  Thank you!

I have NOW come to the understanding that had I found this site when I was first diagnosed in 06, my decisions and path in life would have been much different, nonetheless, I have found it, embrace it and all the wonderful people that post, it has educated me, allowed me to vent my spleen, laugh til I pee and cry and bare my soul and know that I'M NOT ALONE in this journey...the circle of life continues and friendships are made and I am blessed and thankful to you all!

It really helped me as my parnter cheated on me 4 months ago which led to our break up.  I live in Australia so I don't know who the people were that posted support messages but they really helped

Everyone here is so kind and sympathetic and no question is considered " out of bounds".  I have not personally met anyone on here, but I consider this group very supportive and helpful when I am experiencing yet another Bc worry.

In a few weeks, I will be 5 years out, but I will continue to visit this great forum and pray for good lives for all of us.

I find breastcancer.org amazing. I get so much information here and I love all the

different discussions. People are so helpful, knowledgable and sometimes hysterically funny.

I really like to check frequently and see what is happening, who needs some advice, big hugs

and information. You ladies are the best.

BCO has given me an outlet to explore my feelings and to have some place to offer support to others...which in turn has created some meaning for me...  I have been empowered by being able to give back.  I am grateful for this website.

Of course, it also has been an invaluable source for information that has helped me navigate the many decisions that I have made.

I encourage everyone to donate to BCO.  I am proud that I have and grateful that I can.

When I am at the end of my rope, I turn to Breastcancer.org, sometimes 4 times a week, sometimes 4 times a day. I am amazed at the knowledge here, and the generous spirit to help.

I'm so new to the community but am trying to get as much information as possible to be a better friend, supporter and cargiver to the women in my life affected by breast cancer. So far, I'm so in awe by the amazing community that you all have built and the knowledge you're giving me about how I can make a difference. From the bottom of my heart thank you!

This site has been invaluable. I've found new friends and received great advice for helping my LE. I have a place to rant when things are overwhelming. I'm glad you are here.

I wish I had known about breastcancer, org in 2009 when I first became diagnosed with early stage breast cancer, it would have prevented me from taking medication that interacts with Tamoxifen, I found this information here, too late. Last year I found out I have progressed to Stage IV and when I came out of the hospital and started searching for websites on breast cancer, I found this one. I have learned so much on this website, I feel like I've started what amounts to a college career on the subject. There is so much pertinent information and at the same time it is a place to vent, share, laugh and cry about our experiences as breast cancer patients. Thank you for keeping the doors open and please continue to do so.

BCO has entirely changed the way I previously viewed my cancer experience and journey. 1st DX was 1996 when nothing was available except outdated library books and cross-country phone calls (with 3-hr time difference) to NIH. BCO has literally allowed me to view this 2nd DX (2012) as my breast cancer do-over.

Sorry I couldn't fit this into only 1 sentence

I am not the same person.

I'd explain more, but you only wanted one sentence.  And don't assume that it's a positive statement.
