I Come to the Garden...

Surely the Presence of the Lord is in this Place
Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place
I can feel his mighty power and His grace
I can hear the brush of angel's wings,
I see glory on each face
Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.In the midst of his children, the Lord said would be
It doesn't take many, it can be just two or three
And I feel that same spirit that I've felt times before
Surely I can say I've been with the Lord(Chorus)
There's a holy hush around us as God fills this place
I've touched the hem of the garment I can almost see His face;
And my heart is overflowing with the fullness of this joy;
I Know without a doubt that I've been with the lord. -
I love the song, Balm in Gilead. Our choir sings a beautiful version of it especially during the Lenten season. Thanks for letting that song and the beautiful words run through my mind.
-
Sometimes the name of a song or the words just come to mind. Like that one.
-
You should see my goosebumps!
I needed those words, I felt my soul ease. Thank you for posting them. And I HAVE met my Lord.
-
I agree. It just goes to show what you are taught when you are young really doesn't leave you, it just gets buried under stuff and you need to bring it out.
Do I dare add one more request? I showed my GP a lump which has grown in the past few months. It is at the sight of my bx last year and I have convinced myself that it is scar tissue around the clip. My GP said she feels that it probably is, but because of it's size (>1cm) she wants to have a US to confirm. I contacted my Onc and she agrees, so I go in for US Monday am.
It is in His hands, and I am leaning on Him, but it doesn't mean I don't feel frightened right now. With all DH is going through with his family I just don't feel like I can add this. Please pray that all will be well and that I will be at peace until (and after) Monday.

Dear God, our sister Meece asks for peace that she so well deserves. If it is in Your plans, please allow her family a time of only good news for a while. Okay? I ask in Jesus' name. Amen.
-

Heavenly Father, please be with Jo's cousin and and her husband. Be with both of them as they go through medical tests and treatment. May they feel your comfort through the skill of their medical professionals and their friends and family. Thank you for these wonderful women you have brought into my life. Be with each of them as they progress through their daily lives. In your Son's name I pray, Amen.
-
Amen to all prayers for Meece, 3 jays, and Jo's family. So many needs, and God is able to hear and answer them all in the way that He knows best!
-
And again, please Lord, we pray for all those in need of your care. We come together because of our mutual need for your presence and your gifts of peace and healing, whether of body or spirit. Bless us and the others in our lives who also have need. Amen.

Prayed for your cousin, Jo. Meece am praying for you! These times can be so scary! Remember that courage is not the absence of fear, but rather going on despite the fear. Faith is not faith unless there is a little doubt. Otherwise, it would be "sight". Love you!

Mum, I love Tinyfishy's pictures every time I see one. They are so clear and you can see the detail that The Creator added.
Psalm 139:14
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well. -

Wishing all My Garden Friends a Healthy New Year.

Wow sheila! Is this flower blooms only in moonlit nights? Smell is also very good .right? I brought one of the same species from nursery , since 2/3 years there is no flower at all. So I put on the music nearby the pot in the evening , as we belief that plants likes music.
-
Raj...i really don't know. I just loved the picture.
My MIL used to talk to the plants. And I used to laugh quietly but she had a green thumb.
i think music is better. I don't feel very comfortable talking to a plant. LOL
-
We can feel the softness when we touch it but talking to a plant is an impossible task for me but i do love looking at them and can spend my time forgetting everything.
-
