I just got back from every pharmacy in town - no aquafor. I have two tiny little samples. I will be getting more U guess. Uneventful, yes. A tiny bit of burn sensation, that is all.

Good for you Chris. We all deserve a break and you have been working so hard!
Dinner was good, my parents are fun.

GOod morning all!

I just did an inventory of what I ordered for Christmas. I feel as though all I've been doing is buying stuff online. I guess I didn't buy as much as I thought. Most of what I bought was clothes for my DS. That's not fun. He came home from school the other day and his jeans were too short. My DD was like - yeah - he was walking around school with his socks showing. He didn't care. Now I have to have him try on his other jeans that are the same size and brand as the ones that are too short to see if they shrunk or he grew. Starting to panic again about being able to find pants to fit him if he has a sudden big growth spurt. Now I know why the boys wear shorts to school in the winter. They grew and their pants are too short!
-
I feel for you Chris. I have to do the same thing only my boys will only wear jeans that are 2 sizes too big and wayyyyyy to long! Boxer shorts have to show a little and a belt (studded of course) to hold up the jeans that are way to big otherwise someone will pull them down! (Pantsed!!)
-
I didn't notice any SE from rads until the 14th or 15th tx.
-
LOL - that's what I told my son to do with his pants that are too short! Pull them down a bit so they are long enough. Actually they are too tight to do that. And it doesn't work with tighty whities LOL. It was really funny while we stood in the hallway while he tried it. My DD says it's funny to watch the boys try to walk up the stairs with their pants pulled down like that. I don't know how they can wear them like that. It looks so uncomfortable. But it's the style.
It's better to look good than to feel good. SNL
Deb, how's your SIL?
-
I laugh at them to when they are walking upstairs or try to run and have to hold their pants. I don't like the style but I have other things to worry about!
-
I will know more tonight, we are going to visit her in the hospital.
-
At least they know what they like. I keep asking my kids what the other kids wear so I can make sure I don't buy my DS clothes that will get him picked on more than he already is. He says he doesn't care - but he doesn't like getting picked on. I'm not sure he gets the connection - that if he doesn't do things that kids will pick on him for, he'll get picked on less.
They are playing dodgeball in gym - or projectile avoidance as my daughter says they call it. I don't think you are supposed to play dodgeball in school anymore. So my DS said he wanted to play it. Of course they all ganged up on him and all threw the balls at him. Duh. And he was upset. Not sure how long it is going to take him to realize that he has to choose between doing things he wants to do and taking crap from people or not doing what he wants to avoid the crap. He does what he wants and then complains when people give him crap.
You know what I'm sayin'.
-
Deb yes plz let us know, Sheila, hope you feel better.....hugs to all of you!!
My kids only wear George - Addidis or Nike and any kind of jeans, Michael aeropostol or american eagle everything, they don't care about belts. Michael's feet are so big I have to get him socks that are size 13, which is big mens.

So do they wear cargo pants? They still sell them, but I thought they were out of style... I wish kids still did wear them - then they'd have better places to keep their phones and ipods without them popping out of their pockets. Do they wear non-cargo pants? I ask my kids to pay attention to what other kids wear, but when I'm at the high school, I don't think to look around and see what kids are wearing....But I'm old and I can't remember anything anymore....
-
Speaking of where kids keep their phones - My DD has tiny little pockets she tries to cram her phone into. She even called me by mistake once during band and left me a lengthy phone message. I saw the voicemail and was afraid she had some sort of problem at school and needed me. When I started listening to it, expecting to hear that she didn't feel good or forgot something at home, I heard all this static and garbled sound. I was like - what the? Then I heard her yell something to someone and someone played a scale to warm up their horn and I realized she must have done it by mistake. It does lock pretty quickly so you can avoid calling Guam by mistake sitting on your phone, but she had just checked the time or something, put it in her pocket and then called me somehow. Funny.
-
My kids wont wear cargo pants. Or carpenter. Jeans, jeans and more jeans. Some torn, some not, some faded through the legs. They only wear T shirts and hoodies with them.
DC or Etnies sneakers, or as they are properly called "boarding shoes".
-
Chris - my husband "butt-dials" people all the time from the phone in his pocket....
Being older than you ladies, I have already been through the torn, frayed jeans that are too big with hoodies and tshirts. That continued through college and until two months ago. Being in the tech industry means my son could dress any way he wanted, they only care what is in his head and not on his body. However, two months ago, he switched positions to a customer-facing, management position. He walked in the other day with black Perry Ellis traveler pants that actually fit and a nice striped shirt and a belt and nice shoes- I about died laughing. It was a huge shock to see him dressed that way when it wasn't for a family picture or event. He had shaved and even groomed his hair and lost the hat. Something happens when they are 30
You have a long wait.
