Medigal .. the five post a day rule is for newcomers .. until they reach 50 posts (I think). The five post a day rule also applies to gals who have had their posts deleted by the "report this post" button.
Have a great day!

Bren: Muchas Gracias and many thanks! I think I finally understand it now. Have a good day!
-
de nada .. (you're welcome)
Have you heard from Melissa this a.m.? I imagine she's pretty busy!
-
Just checking to see if anyone has heard from Melissa ... three of my buddies are on a time-out now and I miss them!!
Bren
-
Haven't heard from Melissa yet. Hope it's just because she's so busy clearing the problem up!
-
I'm sure she's swamped on a Monday morning!
Bren
-
Any word yet????
-
Oh my gosh!! Could Melissa be the ghost deleter?? This is getting weird.
-
Nah .. Melissa isn't a ghost deleter ... cause if she deletes a post it says "deleted by moderator." I've seen some of those too, but not on any of the recent threads.
Hope your day is going good Medigal!
hugs,
Bren

Gosh, I've been in the States for a time, rarely near a computer. I get back, settle in and I'm ready to go back to reading the "healthcare in other countries" thread and poof, I can't find it! Geez, I guess no one knows what happened.
Hello to all. Missed you.
-
Maya2: Welcome back. What's missing is "Melissa". I think she's been captured by Aliens and sent to Planet Detele Posters. A group of us sent her PMs last Friday and she has not replied to anyone we know. Healthcare is no more. We have all been healed by the ghost deleters! Gosh it feels SO great to have no medical problems anymore!
Bren: As you can see, I am still "doing" but may need to leave the forum soon since I am healed now. Wow! All the money I am going to save on medical bills can be used to buy that new Microwave pan I was just watching on TV! Isn't life wonderful even if outside looks like crap! (Geez, I really think the Aliens took Melissa. She is allowing me to use the "c" word. Joy to the World!) If someone throws in the "F" word we will know "they" got her!

This deleting of posts reflects badly on bc.org and Dr. Marissa Weiss. I don't know whether she as Director is aware of the mass deletions of breast cancer patients trying to connect with one another.
-
Medigal .. I'm glad you're healed .. but please don't leave .. I really enjoy your presence!
Bren -
Please tell me the mods didn't delete our thread. Please.
-
Yep, Blue's thread is gone gone gone.
madalyn -- What goes around comes around!
-
Oh yes, what goes around will certainly come around.
-
-
Well I asked yesterday what the point of the deletions on the other thread was and now I know. What I still can't understand is why?
-
Because she can.
-
Well she shouldn't have.
-
How do we start a petition to Melissa and the powers that be and have this nonsense stopped - while I have not posted a lot on this thread I do "lurk" especially love the food and "vacation" topics not fond of some of the political discussion but I don't have to read those do I? Don't know who the deleter(s) is(are) but perhaps they need to be sidelined for say 30 days - I know many of us rely on this site for support in all phases of our recovery and life after - this is so unfair.

I have no quarrel with Melissa. She asked us to keep it nice and most of us did. There were a few (or one) who insisted on deleting posts and I believe that that led Melissa to believe that we were not behaving. I feel sorry for anyone who has so little in her life that she has to take away something that provided stress relief and enjoyment to so many. Our "mad deleter" will be in my thoughtts and prayers today.

Not so nice. I will ask God to bless them (translation- bring them closer to God's will!)

Ladies: I was going to take a few days off from our former thread because things were getting heated. However, we are adults and I apologized for my part yesterday and would have left the thread for good if it meant saving it for the rest of you. But I am very angry that Melissa did not think enough of us to give us the chance to control ourselves. She treats us like children and I am tied of her allowing the real trouble makers to get us all punished any time they want. One thing I learned years ago about many doctors and people in psychiatry is that emotions frighten them. They can't understand that emotions can be a great outlet to vent and keep us stable. Just because we get emotional with each other as long as we don't use vulgar terms and go overboard, I see no reason to shut the doors for us. I hope we can regroup someplace else for the sake of the "good" the thread did.
It looks like Melissa is in charge of the entire forum so if we tick her off, we will have no place to go, IMO. I will follow whatever the majority of you decide is best for everyone.
-
Medigal -- SO glad to see you back! You make a lot of sense!
-
I shot off a pointed pm to her. See what happens.
-
Oops -- posted twice. Must be my Femara-brain!
-
Welll...
Remembered Animal Farm, not who wrote it.
-
Roemary you are way more charitable than I. I will grit my teeth and try real hard to be so.
