Glad someone got a referral to him - he's one of the best. Am happy you feel good enough about him Deborah to refer him. Am getting all my other med stuff taken care of before years end since the deductible and out of pockets have been met, and when I saw my gastroenterologist re a colonoscopy, she asked what was going on and I told her about the BC, and she asked who my PS was after I showed her my TEs. She said she loved him, and that when she was ready she'd have him do her facelift! He said the surgery will take 4-5 hours and I may have drains. I guess he will do a lot of work this time. The BMX was six hours, and half of that was the BS. Oh well, working on wrapping my head around it, as I thought from reading these threads, it would be a two hour surgery and no more. Will post photos as soon as I can. Thanks for all your good vibes!
-
CoolBreeze - What awesome news!!! Congrats....can't wait to check out timtams site...is there an area on here that we can view results from surgeries us ladies have had....I'd sure like to post my "botched jobs" and then show the "new" results...thanks and everyone enjoy your Holiday!!!
-
Stephanie -- Timtam's site IS such an area. It's a private site that is not affiliated with BCO. As far as I know there is no such BCO site but that is because BCO is not private. PM me if you want to know more.
-
Coolbreeze: Glad everything went well--You waited such a long time! My MX side is slightly smaller and it doesn't quite fill out my bra at the tip, but I am hoping the new fipple and some fat grafting will help with the shape a bit. It did take awhile for my MX side to drop and fluff and I feel as if I am still in the process. Congratulations on your exchange!

I got caught up in the TSA stuff so didn't post my pictures yet.
Here I am in clothes though.
With expander, a week ago
Today!

Gunner>>> I had my exchange last Wednesday and i agree with you. I had both done and they don't quite feel right, not as soft as i thought they would be. Maybe in time as they drop and fluff, however long that takes. I still have pain and swollen too. See the PS tomorrow. I have a suture driving me nuts almost poking thru my skin. The PS said the suture will melt away in time. Everything feels tight to me right now. Cant wait until my range of motion is back. Everything is a waiting game......
-
Ann -- you look gorgeous!!!!! Wahooo!!!!!!!!!!
-
Lilah, I know, right?
It's all I can do to not flash people walking on the street, lol.
After being told for almost a year that I was going to get a bad result and would never look normal - and accepting that fact - it's just thrilling to find out that was wrong. -
Ann -- It makes me mad that your old PS said that to you. It's a form of mental torture if you ask me. All I can say is: thank god he quit! I remember how upset you were too and how you wanted him to do it anyway... but really it's like you had a guardian angel guiding you to the right (and GOOD) doctor that you needed. It's a true blessing!
-
Hi all - My infection is almost cleared and I saw my PS today and got my stitches out. I just posted a picture on the picture forum (in the 14 days post exchange thread - I'm 13 days post). Good thing I'm happy with the results because my PS says that they're not going to change much. She said I'm not going "drop and fluff" because of my muscle and skin tone prior to the surgery. Now I just need to decide whether or not to get the nipple reconstruction. After my latest experience in the hospital - and the fact that I developed staph infections after each of my last 3 surgeries - I'm not eager to have another surgery. Also, I think it would be nice not to have to wear a bra.
-
Ann, you look great!
-
AWESOME ANN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am with Lilah, I am loving your new PS.... and good riddance to the old quack! BRAVO!
-
Had my three-month follow up post-exchange with my PS. Things are looking good and he is pleased.
1) I asked him tons of questions about nips. One thing I didn't know is that I will lose a little projection if I choose to get the nips. He does one of the 'flap' surgeries, don't know which one. He said I would lose 1/3-1/4 of a centimer of projection. Hmmmm, didn't know that. Anyone else notice they lost some projection with the nips?
2) He mentioned nothing about bras. I'm never ceased to be amazed at how different all of our PS' are are this issue and others. Kind of crazy, really.
3) I asked him about exercises, anything I couldn't do. He said I could do it all ... bench press, push-ups but to be careful and go slow. Again, like #2, amazed at how different they are.
I felt a lot better about getting nips. I didn't schedule it today and won't this week but I may next week. I'm at the point now ... if I've come this far, why stop? Finish the job. But I seem to go back and forth depending on the day so I'll see how I feel about it tomorrow!

CoolBreeze - Looks great...and OMG, how dare your PS state THAT...oh, so wrong...I agree with Lilah on the mental torture bit, now YOU GO GIRL!
-
Coolbreeze~
Absolutely fabulous!!! Another successful outcome! Priceless!
Enjoy!!!

-
Ann, Hats off. You look absolutely gorgeous!
-
Coolbreeze, I am soooo excited for you!! Your Thanksgiving came a little early, yes? Do try to keep the flashing to a minimum at least outside the house! lol
LG300, I do miss going braless all the time which I could do prior to my headlight nips. Not sorry I got them, but I have to be more careful now.
Dawn, I didn't notice any lack of projection with nips. I have the perception of more projection with areolas/nips.
Laura and all my Sisters on EC, wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving! deekaay
-
Ann: I remeber when your original PS quit and the first thing I thought was that he just wasn't the right dr. for you. So glad you were able to find an amazing PS who has done a fabulous job! WOOOHOOOO! I would say it was worth the wait to get it done right! Congratulations.
-
Dear sweet EC sisters - I know I don't pop in very often anymore....okay, almost never
.....but I want you to know that I am SO thankful for all the fabulous women on this thread! Your love and support over the past (almost) two years is truly a gift for which I will be forever grateful. Happy Thanksgiving!! -
Thanks ladies. Sorry for being so bold and inlining them but I couldn't help myself. LOL. I thought I didn't care about it, and as it turns out, I do! I swear, I have totally fallen in love with my doctor because of this. I wasn't going to do nips or tats or anything else, but now I am.
I feel whole again - even though I didn't realize I didn't feel whole.
-
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm thankful for all the support and information from my BCO sisters.
