Now, all of these are from my own collection, so take care of them. You don't want me to have to come back there and do it myself do you?
-
Beautiful Meece!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And so are your curls, Grace!!!!

I also wanted to add, grace, that you look very happy and healthy. Can't imagine you looking even better when you are feeling 100%.
-

-

-
Grace-look at you! Hi!
Love the hut story Jo-thanks!
Happy Monday ?!?!?!?!?
-
Grace....So nice to see you back.
Hi Everyone.

-
Loved it, Jo.
I have to remember:
IN ALL THINGS GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD!!!!
Psalm 136:1- "give thanks to the lord for HE is good and HIS faithfulness endures forever"
"Sometimes in life, things don't go our way as this will be the case most of the time. However, some of us are so short-sighted that we don't even realise the Master is planning something even bigger than. In every situation, no matter how bad, we always have something to be grateful for.
Should we despair over the damaged care or be grateful that we survived an accident?
Should we grumble and complain when we are reprimanded or should we be thankful that we have people that care so much as to correct us?
Should we be angry and bitter when calamity befalls us towards a God who has already worked a way out before hand?
Ask God for a heart of gratitude today.....
A heart of Gratitude will attract God's unending chain of favour!!!" -

I have really missed this place! I am in the States, but still feel alone at times. I think the problem is that I look better than I feel sometimes and my family and friends tend to forget how the fatigue can just take over this stubborn body!! Love the encouragement I get from this place.
I am happy that the Lord is allowing me to see the beauty of Fall! We are in Connectcut until tomorrow. I woke up to beautiful leaves and SNOW!!! It was beautiful! Cold, but beautiful!!
Continuing to pray for you, Meece, and especially Matt.

I leave for a week.........................
There are no words sufficient, Lisa. We are here. We are praying. We are cheering. We are gathered up close and tight. Tending to the flowers of your choice.
Meecie, it sounds like you've gathered your wits a bit, as the information has been trickling in.
I am reminded of a couple of my favorite quotes.
"When you're going thru hell........ keep going." -- Winston Churchill
"When there is absolutely nothing that is funny, laugh on credit." bumper sticker wisdom

I had had surgery, was going through chemo, and going through a divorce, and people still said I loked better than I had in years. Hmmmmmmmmm says something for what I was living with before that.

Thank you for your prayers. Matt is still not being released. He told me the dr. showed him his MRI from a couple of days after "the event". He said that about 25% of his brain was involved, and that it had occurred near the optical portion of his brain. He said Matt is a very lucky man.
They are treating his headaches with Magnesium. It seems that doctors think that migraines can be caused by an imbalance of minerals.
He will pull through this with God's grace. I am still very frustrated, but am trying to focus my energy on researching his issues, and his options.
So glad to have you back, Faithie. Although knowing I was missing you made the weekend even more difficult. (((Faithie)))

Holy Cow Meece! 25% of his brain!!! He WAS a lucky duck!! Gave me goosebumps...
-
The Dr. said that the MRI right after didn't show the affects because it shows up when the swelling and bruising appears sometime later.
This is a time a mommy would love to be with her little boy because mommy wants more answers, and wants to ask questions.
-
I bet the doctors wish you were there too!
-
That is so true, Jo.
I was watching the morning news program on Fox and they had Brett Michaels on it. he is the singer who had a stroke during the period he was on "The Apprentice". He apparently had the same sort of stroke Matt had, and he will be having surgery on the holw in his heart in January. He seems to be fully recovered which gives me great hope.
I also want to watch closely as he has this surgery and recovers.
-
Meece, yes, Brett Michaels' was a miracle, and his ecovery seems to be going fine. I am praying for both you, and Matt. JO; i loved that saying, and am totally stealing it. M eece, ive had some real brain scares with my MS and the strokes i've had from it. the Dr. was wise to keep it on the DL and wait to see.. ive had a brain bleed, and bruising... not telling you to get sympathy, cause what i'm saying is that the brain finds different paths, even IF damage is permanent, as it has been in mine. Matts may not be, at all, and i'm claiming here and now, that it not in Jesus name, i declare this...3jays

You are so sweet, 3Jays. Thank you for sending your message of hope.
-
Loving all the beautiful post. Doing well and trying very hard to know that it's in His hands when it seems all around me it's in someone else hands. Doctors, techs, nurses, me. Keeping my palms turned up. Love ya all dearly.
