    When people ask my religion I always say:

    I am human and I believe in God.

    I am numb today.  My friend Nancy passed away yesterday evening after a 2 1/2 year battle with Triple Negative breast cancer.  I had so hoped for her miracle but she is now in the arms of Jesus and no longer in pain.  Her last 3 weeks had been horrible.  She leaves a daughter, toddler grand daughter, 10 year old son and several sisters and a brother.  I'm not sure if she had gotten remarried to her son's Dad yet or not.  They had planned to but I don't know if they had.  Both of her parents ahd passed with cancer several years ago.  Please pray for the Danielson Family.

    Juanita, I am so very sorry about your loss of your firend.

    I too believe in God my Father who saved me through His Son Jesus Christ and am filled with the Holy Spirit who lives in me.

    Meece, just a thought.  Severe headaches can also be brought on by dehydration.  If he's been nausous I hope he is on enough IV fluids to replace what he has lost and enough to prevent this from being the reason for some of the headaches.  He's been through so much.  I hope he stays in the hospital a bit longer to be sure he is stable.  Hang in there mama, your prayers are as effective as physically being there.  We are all praying with you.

    Very comforting thread.  I believe in God, but I do love astrology.  It's silly, but I read my horoscope daily and laugh as most of the chemo days I was supposed to be having a wonderful day or finding new romance.  I love the flowers and the poems.  I mostly lurk here, but I will try to contribute my faith that things are all going to turn out the way they should.

    Juanita, I will pray for your friend's family.  I know they are all in God's hands and that he will provide.

    Thank you everyone.  I have to keep reminding myself that Nancy was Triple Negative and I am but that does not mean her outcome will be mine.  God knows the plans he had for Nancy's life and He knows His plans for mine.  On the human side, it scares me so much but God did not give us the spirit of fear.  He gave us the spirit of faith, hope, joy.  His word said He would give me the desires of my heart.  He knows my desire is to be a survivor of this dreaded disease and see my grandchildren grow up and live many years to take care of my husband.  If I don't stand on His promises, then I don't really believe in them do I?

    I, too, believe in God and His Son, Jesus Christ. I can't imagine traveling this journey without Him as my Guide! We don't desire trials, but they do help us grow in faith and the knowledge of Jesus Christ, our Lord.

    God hath not promised skies always blue,
        Flower-strewn pathways all our lives through;
        God hath not promised sun without rain,
        Joy without sorrow, peace without pain.
    •     But God hath promised strength for the day,
          Rest for the labor, light for the way,
          Grace for the trials, help from above,
          Unfailing sympathy, undying love.
    God hath not promised we shall not know
        Toil and temptation, trouble and woe;
        He hath not told us we shall not bear
        Many a burden, many a care.But God hath promised strength for the day,
        Rest for the labor, light for the way,
        Grace for the trials, help from above,
        Unfailing sympathy, undying love.God hath not promised smooth roads and wide,
        Swift, easy travel, needing no guide;
        Never a mountain, rocky and steep,
        Never a river, turbid and deep.But God hath promised strength for the day,
        Rest for the labor, light for the way,
        Grace for the trials, help from above,
        Unfailing sympathy, undying love.

    Praise the Lord!

    me too, meece. the stars didn't get up there by themselves! we know who placed them, and He's the one concerned with us.. it just blows me away, He's so powerful, and yet, fulfills all my needs. more than that, comncerns himself with my little things.. fesrs, etc. and He can do whatever!!

    Thank you, every one of you.

    Matt's doctor finally laid it on the line for him.  He will remain in the hospital until the dr. feels he is completely stable.  Not what Matt wanted to hear.  he has yet to speak with a Cardiologist and is thinking he'd like to live the rest of his life on meds instead of surgery.  I told him we needed to do our research as soon as we know what the cardilogist tells us we are dealing with.  He was in such pain 24 hours ago, then this morning he was doing better, but the pain was returning an hour ago.  We discussed the caffiene issue, and he really doesn't drink that much, but the dr. was aware of it.  He has been on constant IV drips so I doubt that he is dehydrated.  He is eating today.  I feel comfortable with where he is.

    Our God is and Awesome God!

    was on another thread, and saw that you posted. am so glad the dr. is going to keep Matt. till its more clear. that has always been one of my downfalls. we always want to get home. then, if it IS too early, you kick yourself and wonder what the big rush was. sounds like the dr. not going to give him a choice, and i'm glad. God is in His Heaven, and all is well in the world. love ya, and will keep prayimng. 3jays

    Juanita, I am so sorry for the loss of your friend.  To you, PM and any other TN Sisters here, it is scary, but it doesn't mean the worst.  I am going to be seven years out in just a few weeks.  We just have to focus on the horizon and our God.  We canot look back to the what might have been or worry about the what ifs.  We need to uplift each other and be encouragemnt to all.

    My love to you wonderful ladies.

    Thank goodness you are able to get better info now Meece!  He's 23, of course he's not gonna want any surgical intervention, but I have no doubt that once you have a "syndrome" or a name to google, you will have the best info available!  We will all keep praying & yes, I believe in God

    We sang this song in church this morning:

    My Savior My God

    I am not skilled to understand
    What God has willed, what God has planned
    I only know at His right hand
    Stands one who is my Savior

    I take Him at His word and deed
    Christ died to save me; this I read
    And in my heart I find a need
    Of Him to be my savior

    That He would leave His place on high
    And come for sinful man to die
    You count it strange, so once did I
    Before I knew my Savior

    Chorus (2x's)
    My Savior loves, My Savior lives
    My Savior's always there for me
    My God: He was, my God; He is
    My God is always gonna be

    Yes, living, dying, let me bring
    My strength, my solace from this spring;
    That He who lives to be my King
    Once died to be my Savior

    That He would leave His place on high
    And come for sinful man to die
    You count it strange, so once did I
    Before I knew my Savior
