I bring this topic up because it is a subject that concerns all of us following diagnosis and treatment.  We all know that Breast Cancer not only steals our breasts but also steals our MoJo and I've seen it discussed here on the boards and many of us want just to get our Mojo back and because this disease has forced us to undergo treatments of painful surgeries that remove the cancer, and our breasts, followed by painful, exhaustive, and debilitating treatments for years and the rest of our lives, we are faced with the numerous side effects mainly pain fatigue, bone pain, wieght gain, loss of hair  and loss of libido and moisture in our bodies, mainly because the treatment also is based on blocking hormonal activity.  The reason for this is because our hormones fuel the cancer growth, and so our doctors want to eliminate anything that feeds our cancer.  Since the month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month,  I would like to bring this topic up because I have had an ongoing discussion with my husband who is in the nutriceutical industry, and is involved in the promotion of an all natural product that is supposed  to greatly enhance the female libido.  I have always had a close and satisfying physical relationship with my husband of 38 years, and other than every day stresses or life occurances, we've never lost the spark of a good sex life............Until Breast Cancer.  Libido has suffered, and I know each and every one of you can relate to this.  I've told my husband, that I am very skeptical of this product for those of us who endure this disease may not be free to partake of this supplement, or if we can safely take it without it fueling our cancer cell growth, would it really work for women who undergo treatments.  My question is, can we really benefit from a female libido product as breast cancer survivors?

Thanks squidwitch4, I'm asking about nutritional supplementation. You the ingredients include niacin, zinc (as in zinc oxide) L-Argenine Alpha Kelo Gluatarate, L Arginine HCL,.........and a host of other ingredients.  I think there are some ingredients in there that I believe I've heard we should stay away from, but I would love to find something that would be safe for us and improve our libido issues, in a daily supplement. I'm not clear on all the supplements we should stay away from such as phyto estrogens, and which herbs and supplements are phyto estrogen,  I think I've heard that Ginseng is not good for us with breast cancer, and St. John's Wort, and I think this is in this product.  If anyone knows I'd really be interested.  Especially if this product is being marketed to women and it really is not healthy for women being treated for breast cancer.
