    Iam so sorry to hear this, I didnt know shell well but remember her sweet posts, this is so sad- Does any one know if she has been added to the angels list? Sending love and condolences to her family and friends- (((((((((((shell))))))))))))) you will be missed

    Mary, I just read the news on Facebook. Titch posted the news and it broke my heart. My heart goes out to her family and I hope God gives them strength.

    I haven't posted here in a long time...been facebooking...was so sad when Mary told me about TN36..she passed away on my birthday...makes me wonder why some of us survivie and some don't.  I'm doing good, still have neuropathy in my big toes and oncologist said there is a small chance of the feeling coming back in them.  Wasn't able to get my energy back, so my doctor checked my thyroid and discovered that radiation damaged it pretty good...so I am now on thyroid medicine...and finally getting my energy back.  Chemo brain is still an issue..I will be in the middle of a sentence and FORGET the word I want to use....oncologist said that will get better as time goes on.  Every little ache or pain freaks me out...wake up with a headache and I'm sure it is brain mets....starting riding a bicycle and just knew the sore muscles weren't because my muscle hadn't been used in a while, I was convinced the cancer had spread to my entire body overnight.  The best side effect of all this, other than killing cancer cells that is,  is NO MORE MONTHLY PERIODS...it has been great not to have the monthy "visitor".  When the radiologist told me I wouldn't have to shave under my left arm anymore, I asked him if he could give me enough radiation under the right arm so I wouldn't have to shave it either.

    RIP Shelley - You touched us all, and I am so saddened that you lost the battle.Innocent

    My thoughts are also with her family and friends.

    Thank you Mary for informing me, I was away on holiday (only just got home), and only popped online briefly yesterday to read this sad news.  I don't come into this site very often, and now feel so guilty as one of our dear bc friends has passed and I was not even aware she was so unwell.  I think of  everyone often, as we went thru so much together.

    Well its September and just was checking in to see how the May Marvels are doing  -- No ones here!  Hopefully everyone is busy with daily life and don't have time to post everyday like we use to! ((HUGS))) to all--I think of everyone often!  Love--gmp300  Geralyn

    Same here, Geralyn. I check in on BCO quite often and hope that everyone who started when we did is doing well and getting on with life. I just had my 3 months after Herceptin finished check up and have been promoted to 6 month check ups. How are others doing?

    One thing i forgot to mention was, has any one heard from Love4my5 girls?? She started this thread and did chemo with us all at the same time but she hasnt posted since may (i think) of last year hope she is ok

    Hi Lassie11 and debbie6122!   Nice to hear from you's.  I know how your doing Debbie.  Aren't you on every 6 month check yet?  I have been since July!  the reception told me congratulations so I guess that's a good thing!  So Congratulation's Lassie11  --  for being done with herceptin and being on the 6 month plan!!  This is almost "normal"!!!   debbie6122-Have you won any $$$  !!!  LOL!!  Gambler!!  That's what she's been doing!!  Ha  Wish I was!

         I have been doing real good except for my almost foobs!  I still have the TE's in and am scheduel to get my "new girls-as they say!"  Or implants October 5th.  I had a few infections and set backs with that part of it so I am ready to get these things taken care of.  Besides that I have been great.  I saved my hair and I have been helping women along who are using the cold caps.  It is a great thing!  More women than ever are using them.  when I used them there were only a few gals I found but now there are 100's!!  that's another good thing!

         Sounds like everything is good with the 3 of us at least!  I read some older post's here and seems like for the most part things have moved along for everyone.

    Hey gmp- I heard you the first time LOL just kidding, seems like it takes forever to wait for the post to go thru and so i too hit it a few times to try to make it go thru- Yes we went to the casino last night as a matter of fact and i brought home 100 dollars, since hubby gives me the gambling money i  dont tell him when i win so now i have more money to go buy scratch its lol- Love ya girl bcff

    Hi Lassie11,

        Happy to hear from you.  Glad your carrying on!  That is so great!I keep in touch with Debbie6122 and she is doing great too!  I am also!!  I have been busy helping women save their hair thru chemo.  It is so nice to be able to share and help them.  I am having a set back in my reconstruction which is a bummer big time but I'll get thru it.  Other than that I am doing good!

         Hope everyone else is.  they should be.  Life get's busy and we move on and I don't get on here much but it's nice to check back in and see how everyone is doing.

    Hey May Marvels!

    It's been a long time!! I keep up with a lot of you on Facebook. If you haven't friended me and want to I am Mary Snyder Jackson there. I am doing very well and coming up on my two-year anniversary! I'm trying to live in the moment and enjoy the day, but I'm also happy to see another year behind me. I am still doing the bisphosphonates trial, so I get a Zometa infusion every three months. It's hard to go back to the cancer center, but fun to see everybody there too!

    Just wanted to check in and see how everybody was doing. We shared so much with each other and I miss y'all. You are always in my prayers.

    Hi Mary!

       Another year behind us!  I know the feeling.  You sound great.  I would join you on FB but I mostly just try relax when I get a few moments and play a few games - mostly in the middle of the night or early morning.  Are you a gamer?  If your not you would hate my posts!  LOL!  If you are you would love them!  Just hate all the game posts if someone hates the games.

    It's easy to hide the game posts for your gaming friends on FB. Just hover over the little x to the top right of the post and choose to hide the game. Result: newsworthy news feed!

       RIGHT!!!   I bet you will be thinking of me while your gambling your money away!!  And I'll be gutted out like a pig! Ha!  LOl!!   Don't worry I understand the mindset when your at the casinos!     Yes, I just block out the games. I have lots of friends who game and I don't block them. Just the games! I used to do them too, but only Farmville and I quit that a long time ago.

    I know that Deb, Becky, Titch, Diana, and Susie are all doing well. I see them on Facebook often. I don't know about anybody else. Sounds like you two are doing well!! Smile

    Hi Titch. I keep this thread on "my favourites" just in case someone posts. Is it quiet here because we all have moved on with decent health? Hope so!  Those of us who are doing Femara or whatever now are half way through that.

     Just an update on me for those May Marvels...... to my dear friends.....

    Well news for me is not the best..... cancer is back.... and spread into my lungs and multiple lymph nodes in my chest and been advised it is incurable.  They looking at doing more treatments to prolong my death, but need to do further tests before they start this.  So they given me two years......  I am feeling very well for someone who has had this news, but it does make me understand the shortness of breath and cough that wont go......  still working full time, and getting use to this news......  I so appreciate the two years I had been in remission, with no treatments as many of our friends have not had that.........  I still hold hope and do believe in miracles, and not giving up easily......  but I am realistic to what journey I now have,

    I hate the news of your progression - and truly hope that the doctors cannot really see so well into the future. Many stage 4 women have continued to have a decent quality of life for many more years than that. My wish for you is that you can prove that doctor wrong.
