Hi Bunnies. I am just getting ready to go to a wedding and really looking forward to it.
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend. Hugs to all.
-
Dear dear Bunnies,
I came here to quickly catch up a few days ago, and was so pleased to see so much good news! Since then my "good" eye has flared up again, so typing is a stuggle, must get this sorted.
We came back from Corfu on Wednesday. Had a brill time, brilliant weather, lovely people, the greek, germans, russians, french. My dear DS really relaxed and even asked a stuardest in the plane an unprompted question when she passed by " hello, do you like washing machine?" ok, ok, not much of a chat up line, but as he lovvves washing machines himself, it seemed like a reasonable question to him. It was a bit of a first, so it was lovely.
My DD started junior school today. Bless her. xxxx DS is starting gradually so it's home tomorrow, might treat him to a visit to the laundromat before doing some work! ahhh, the joy of it!
Grrrr, I really can't type like this! blowing you peachy vibes and kisses over the pond.
Oncs on Friday. Hope all your news continues to be brill.I will try to get thisd eye sorted and come back for your news.
You are brilllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllbunnies!
Thinking of you, as always.

Spent the weekend in Toronto.First store we go into in Yorkville and a popular tv/movie star comes in to have a dress made. My daughter and her friends were so excited. We are from the burbs so we don't see celebrities out in whitby. The third salon we hit had a beautiful gown just made for my daughter's hourglass figure and really afordable. So she has acouple more stores to check out yet next week including the Vera Wang shop which I am sure will only torture us.Oh well it will still be fun. My DH is getting ansy which means there will be another beach in our near future. But it must be a beach with birds.
-
Hey barbe I wore silicone breasts this weekend for the first time by 3:00 they were already off and thrown in the back of my car.Not used to wearing bras anymore.
-
Awwhhhhhhhhh Shiny!!!! So glad you and the family had a great vacation!!! I love the story of the washing machine!!! I sure hope the lady took some time to talk to DS. Sorry about your eye. Hope you're able to get all sorted out soon. So....your kids are starting back to school this week? It seems they just let out. My DD has started her year as a 3rd grade teacher........phewwwwww, I'll have to send you a PM of some of her experiences so far:) It's been a doozie of a year:)
Hey Mum--------you and DD should go to New York and be on the "Say Yes to the Dress" show.....that would be neat!
Hugs to all you bunnies!!!!!!!
-

Coonie so funny my daughter was going to try and get on that show but her fiance' put the cabosh on that idea. Not so sure I wanted to share this experience with everyone.
-
Mum, come on!!! You can name drop here, who did you see? I wouldn't recognize one if I tripped over her/him.
-
Lots and lots of stuff going on!
Happy belated birthday to Jane.
Faith ... glad you niece is doing better.
Shiny ... you are so incredible. Give kisses to DS and DD for me! BTW, what is wrong with your eye?
Barbe ... wow! Congratulations - I want pictures when they are born!
Mum ... I feel the same way - I threw all my bras out.
Arnie ... they grow up so quick don't they? One minute they are babies and the next they are going to school!
Coonie ... what have you been up to lately?
I'm glad everyone had a great vacation ... I spent the summer lazing around. As a result, didn't get anything done!
This past weekend we had some good friends come up to spend the weekend with us. My sister first met the wife in the hospital - she is a nurse. She met and married a cop. They have one daughter, Morgan, who is very creative. Last year the husband was diagnosed with colon cancer. This year it has spread to lungs and liver. He is going to undergo chemo (I don't know about radiation) and if the chemo is working they will take him to surgery to resect his liver and lungs. Please say a little prayer for him. He is such a nice guy and very funny.
If I left anyone out it was not intentional. Never had a good memory and it has not improved with age.
-
Awhhhhhh Arnie!!!!!! He seems so sweet hugging his little sissy bye. Is that a backpack he's holding??? Tooooo cute!!!!!
Mum---I agree with you. I do love watching the show though. I don't understand why some of the brides have to bring a dozen people with them. It seems that would make it so much harder to decide on a dress. Of course, it probably helps the ratings of the show.......DRAMA!! Guess that's what it's all about.
Kathleen----I've just been pretty much working this summer. Helped DD get her 3rd grade class all set up. Then once school started I helped her "un-set" some of it. The kids were tearing things up, so she had to put some back in storage. She's got a big job ahead of her this year. Maybe once she gets their behavior on track, she'll be able to put the "pretties" back in the classroom. I sure hope so. She's spent so much time and money on it. It's good to see you back!!
-
Warning!!! Housework can be dangerous! I stubbed my little toe as I made my bed yesterday, and I still can't get it into a shoe. I'm pretty sure it's not broken, but it does have some lovely colors.
I missed the parade of kids going back to school yesterday. We live across from an elementary school, so all the kids who walk like to play with the dogs as they go past our house. The dogs were not happy to be trapped in the house with a grumpy mommy while all their friends walked by for the first time in months.
I am definitely taking a few days off from housework, after all, Rosh Hashana starts at sundown, so I will celebrate the new year with my Jewish friends.
-
I agree PatMom... no housework today!!! woo hoo!!!
-
Oh Mum, I can NOT imagine wearing a bra again!!!! Too funny. Did you park somewhere and leave the foobs in a hot car without the window cracked? You could get charged for that you know...ehehheehehheheeh
-
Here we go ladies.(drama) My daughter is in NewYork city next weekend to attend a wedding so she booked an apt at Kleinfields to look at wedding gowns. I won't be there so she is taking her future MIL and SIL with her for opinions. Sounds like an episode of say yes to the dress.
-
OMG hang on to your credit card Mum!!!
-
OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH MUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is soooo WAYYYYY cool!!!!!! If she gets on the show, PLEASE give us a date to watch!! I just love that show!!!!!! Neat neat neat!! Yeah, she better not go in there with a credit card......it could wipe you out
I've often thought I'd love to walk in there with my ole country southern talk and say.........."could ya'll show me the one's for $49.99"?? I don't figure they'd let me be on tv.......hehe...........might not even let me through the front doors:)
-
Ya all mean somethin' like this Coonie... hehehehe xoxoxo
-
wwwwaaaahhhhh Arnie!!!!!!! That's the one I had stuck in my miiiind girlfriend! How'd ya know?? Lucky guess I reckon, huh?
-
I just knew Coonie... I'd betcha it wouldn't be much more than 49.99
xoxoxo
-
Hey Barbe even funnier my time ranout on my parking slip so my foobies got a 30$ parking ticket.
-
AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Ah Mum, you dink! Gotta wonder if they looked in the back seat.....ehheheheheheheeheh
Is that "bride" supposed to be pregnant or does she just have gas? (or bad posture?)
I bet that dress would make you feel like a hundred bucks! No wait! That's what you CHARGE!

Or she could emulate the ever so classy Pam Anderson when she chose this:

Hi my dust bunny friends.......I need some prayers......DH has severe depression and has been being treated at a mental hospital out-patient facility since Saturday.....He went 2 days and missed the last 2......He has been discharged for lack of compliance....Last night I found out about all this via a message on my phone.....i confronted him and he was all I'm sorry and what-not.....Well I got up this morning and called his doctor...he freaked out, got dressed and left in a flash....After many calls to the hospital and to his psychiatrist, I finally called the police and reported him missing.....Please pray we find him before it's too late as he is suicidal and losing his job in July just sent him over the edge......
I am so glad that Kelly is doing well, Faith....I had a friend at work who had the same thing and she is just fine now.......That was 10 years ago when she was 18 or 19........Give Kelly my love and prayers for her......
Sorry I missed all the lovely parties here.......maybe another day.....
PatMom...Hope your foot is better today.......
Love to you all and I miss you soooo much.........
I have changed my settings to include my number if anyone wishes to call me......

Holly!! You are first in line for my prayers right now! Dear God, please find our brother and keep him safe until help can arrive. Please allow him the Grace to let go and submit to treatment. I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen
-
Lucy I'm so sorry to hear about your DH. I am keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers.
