I'll be there. Looking forward to meeting you all!!
-
Great to meet all of you today. Thanks for letting me tag along.
-
Okay sorry I had to miss it but I had to pretend for 1 day that I was a responsible adult
My poor DH had to be with me so I felt horrible for him.
So I am so sorry that I missed everyone and I will be there next month.
-
So who/how many were there? What happened? When is the next one?
I have to say - it REALLY bugged me to miss. Hope it was fun.
-
I had a great time on Saturday! Thanks for making me feel like I already knew all of you. I can't wait to hang out again!
-
Hello fabulous Divas!!!!
We had a blast on Saturday. If you were unable to join us, please know that you were missed.
There were familiar faces, new faces, and of course some Girls Gone Wild!!! Alaina was looking so fabulous 17 days post surgery, I was proud to show off my new nips, and clearly we needed a bigger bathroom.... There were a lot of new connections made and I have to say that to sit back and watch my sisters talking and sharing and laughing just really made me feel so incredible inside.
I am also very aware that not everyone can make our lunches, so I am putting out the following opportunities to get together - in this way, you don't have to wait a month to catch up, meet new sisters, laugh and be fabulous.
So here goes (these events will also be posted on our facebook page by tomorrow and our website will be up and running this weekend and will have a calendar section)
* Monday night 09/20 - Divas Happy Hour at Flemings in Harbor East. They have a special happy hour deal for $6.00. You can have the absolutely best burger you will ever eat for $6 - I swear it melts in your mouth. Like butter baby!!! They are located at 720 Aliceanna Ave.......I recommend you valet your car and have Flemings validate......For our wine friends, their Shiraz is incredible.
*Friday 09/24 - Divas Do Coffee - at Morning Edition Cafe. They are located at 153 N Patterson Park Avenue (street parking and no problems doing so). One of the best breakfasts and it is a nice place to talk. 9:00am - whenever.
More things coming, so be sure to keep up with us on facebook and as soon as the website is up, I will let you know. Keep spreading the word about us!
Much love and hugs to each of you!.

As an Ohio girl, I know I'm infringing on the "Baltimore Ladies Club"
but curious if any of you know anyone who has participated in Dr. Leisha Emens vaccine trial at John Hopkins? If so, what can you tell me? Feel free to PM me if you don't want this on this thread.
-
I'm a grandma!!!!!!! Little Trey Michael James Dickson arrived Monday night 1/2 an hour before daddy's first NFL game. She went from 4 all day long to fully dilated in an hour so not enough time for daddy to get home in time to see the birth.
Ed wear's the number 83 and Trey came in at 8.3. Isn't that funny?
-
I love this one. We were all cheering the team on in the nursery.
Look at the size of his hands in the last photo. His feet and hands are so big they're almost disproportionate to his body.
Okay, I'll stop now.
Renee
-
Oh he's absolutely precious! Congrats to all!
-
Renee he is adorable. Congratulations again!!!
-
Renee he is too cute! Congratulations to the family!!

So nice to find a Baltimore group! I had BMX with Diep Flap reconstruction Sept 1 and it would be nice to make connections with you. I don't think I'll be driving by Monday night, though... does anybody live near Homeland (intersection of Charles and Northern Parkway)? Feel free to PM me. If not, maybe by Friday I'll be driving.
Best,
Hester

Hi Ladies ~ I wondered if there was a Baltimore group out there. I'd love to join you guys if it's ok. I just finished chemo and am getting the rest of my fills (Hopkins) before starting rads. Anyone here have DIEP with Dr. Rosson at Hopkins? Also, what's your fb page? ~ Daiva
-
Hi Daiva,
I had a DIEP with Dr. Manahan at Hopkins 9/1. When did you have yours? We should compare notes (scars)!
-
Hester ~ I need to finish rads first. Courtney has been filling my TE's first. My sx will be 6 mos after rads - probably May or June. Are you happy with your results? Wow, you only had it a few wks ago? How are you feeling? I hear it's PAINFUL!
-
Hi Ladies!
I'm in Southern Md (Upper Marlboro). I went through chemo last Summer and am currently going through the reconstruction process (masectomy of my left breast) at Mercy with Dr. Chang. I've had the first operation and the 2nd (touch-up) is scheduled for Nov. 29th.
Anyway, I'd love to get together with others who went through, or are going through this. If you guys every get together on a Saturday, can I join you?
Thanks and have a great day!
Beth
