LOL Laura.....I was in desperate need of a haircut...just thought I would call it my Vegas cut....but no mani or pedi for me...I am a DIY.....what you see is what you get.
3 weeks and I am on my way
-
Getting excited about the trip. My San Diego trip that is. Leaving Sunday with my hubby for our Anniversary. Just getting away. Have not done that in sometime. Then will be busy with the Susan G Komen Registration. I am on the committee. Our race this year is 10/10/10 First time to participate in it. Then VEGAS HERE I COME!!!
I also wanted to know if there are any ladies that are going that have or had IBC. I know it is rare and not sure if I would find anyone going on this trip. I thought I would give it a try. Would love to talk to someone who also has had it.
Linda I do my own nails too. Grow my own as well. Though Karen (KinAZ) mentioned going and having them done with the breast cancer ribbon. Which I thought was a cute idea. Haircut sounds good. My daughter is a hairstylist so that helps a lot. Well I must go and tend to other things this fine morning. See you all in Vegas!!

Just an FYI
I am going on another vacation, just a little R&R with some friends...I leave today. I will be home next Tuesday. I cannot seem to get my driod to post on BCO... FB yes, but not here... so I doubt I will post to the boards.
I hope you have a GREAT weekend chatting about Vegas... and I will be posting our Airport
" Meet and Greet" when I return home next week!
Love you sisters.................
.........
-
Laura- So you got the Droid! You'll have to show me how it works.....I'm quite technology-challenged, but I'd sure love that phone.....
-
Journey- You can count on me to be the "OFFICAL COUNTDOWNER"
I can't believe how quick this Wonderful trip is fineally right arond the corner!!!
Warning...there is so much GREAT food-you need to pace yourself- Seafood/pasteries/breads/fruits/susie-wait..susi/soups/veggies/meats/salads....it's a good idea to check all the tables before making your 1st stop, then OMGOSH...the DESSERTS!!!!!!
WAHOOO TA TA SISTA'S......20 days till VEGAS!!!!!!!
Take care Chow XOXO Susie
-
Whew, just caught up on this thread after being away for a while. Thanks to all you planners & organizers for your great work - Gisella, Tracey, Stephanie, Jazzy, Anniese, Laura, Whippetmom, and anyone else involved!! You're making this into a FABULOUS trip!! Can't wait to meet you all in person!
I will go along for the ride wrt Bellagio time and anything else, so plan away and I'll be there! I'm a vegetarian too so I'll leave the crablegs for others (Estepp that's more for YOU!), but I will take my share of the champagne and the desserts!!!
Finally, if there's any last minute bits you planners need help with at this point let me know, as I'd have time over the next couple weeks to help if needed.
-
My count is 21 days only because it is 21 days UNTIL THE PIANO BAR!!!
-
Terri ~~ White?!? Are you kidding me?!?!? Have you SEEN the way people dress in Vegas??? One would think that there are not ANY mirrors in ANY of the hotel rooms. Haa!!!!! You will be the most fabulous dressed person there no matter what color it is!!!
Elizabeth ~ You freaked me out for a minute there mentioning the 3Day on 10/10/10 and THEN Vegas here you come . . . . thought maybe I had made my reservation for the wrong weekend. Then I realized you meant your committee meetings were prior to Vegas. Please tell me that is correct and that I am not going the wrong weekend if I am there 9/29 - 10/4.
xo Colleen

Hi All You Lovely TA TA's,

OK OK ....EVERYBODY IS ASKING ABOUT T-SHIRTS!!!!!!
Last May we bought all of the shirts the the "Save the TaTas" site had since they are no longer carrying them....SO all of them have been spoken for.....BUT...I decided just to design one for y'all. They are not cheap...but they resemble our viva las tata$ shirts. Of course they don't have the bling on them...and maybe you can add some sparkle on your own. When you order these shirts you can also change the style of t-shirt to your preference. I used the gold color font since our shirts are gold sparkle studs...I tried to make it as close to ours as possible.
Here is the link: http://www.zazzle.com/viva_las_tatas_tshirt-235571295283792515
HUGS! Jazzy
p.s. some gals are ordering tata shirts from www.savethetatas.com
-
Jazzy love the t-shirts. great job......I cannot wait to meet you all.
Hugs

NAME TAG ASSISTANCE NEEDED....
I have the following names from Tracey's list:
MARY BETH, CLAIRE [I KNOW SHE WENT LAST YEAR, BUT DOES SHE HAVE A SCREEN NAME?] KRISTINA [IS THIS NICOTINOSMOM?], I NEED SONIA/SWEST'S FRIEND'S NAME, HEYMOOSE'S MOM AND STEP MOM'S NAME, CRUZERZ'S DAUGHTER'S NAME...
GROUP 16 : SZYGRL'S REAL NAME, AND WHO ARE MONQUEE [IS HER NAME SPELLED CORRECTLY?], DIANA, AMY, FRAN?
GROUP 20:
JOY, KAREN, CINDY AND ELIZABETH...DO THEY HAVE SCREEN NAMES? I heard that some gals are coming from a breast cancer group and I can put this in under their names in lieu of screen names. My husband is out of town for two days and so I can burn the midnight oil working on these name tags...
Any assistance you can provide is great.
Deborah

HI!
Has anyone heard from Quin lately and will she be joining us this year?
Cheryl
-
Deborah...Clare is my roomy...her name is spelled Clare (no "i"). She does NOT have a screen name. I have Quinn on my facebook...she is not going. Also please spell Susie's name correctly. :-) A lot of people put a "z" instead of an "s".

-
Thanks for the name tag assistance!
-
Howdy all,
Just got back from Vegas myself - lots of fun.
Hope you guys all have a great time!!!
If this happens again next year - will be there for sure as Vegas is one of my favorite places to go!
-
Linda, There are probably more ATM's in Vegas than there are showgirls!
Deborah, I will get you the full names for Group 16. Susie is a dear friend of mine that had a double mastectomy a few years ago. Her daughter and sister both had the same within 2 years of her diagnosis. Incredible women, all of them!!!
Colleen

Sistas!!!
Ohhh my gosh it is so exciting-- we will see eachother in no time!! It is going to be such a fantastic time.
-
Colleen: I don't need last names.. I just need to know if they are part of bc.org and have screen names.....or, if they are guests or belong to some other breast cancer group. I can put the name of their breast cancer group on the tags...

TRIP TO NORDSTROM'S FOR BRAS
Are any of you still up for a trip to Nordies to be fitted for bras? If so, please PM me and I will take a head count and make an appointment. I am thinking perhaps either right after breakfast on Saturday or late Saturday afternoon, after poolside activities.
Let me know...
Deborah

Hey Robin...we are wearing the same viva las TaTas shirts that we wore last yr...and they are black...it's just so many people were wanting a shirt and the tata site no longer carries them and we purchased all they had last May....so I tried to design one close to the ones that we have.
