THE 2ND TA TAS SISTERHOOD REUNION IN VEGAS!!

I'm planning on a simple sundress (like Linda) or jeans/capris and a cute top. It IS going to be hot, right????? Packing a few bathing suits too. Looking forward to hanging by the pool and chatting with my sistas on Sat afternoon! Which reminds me . . . is it going to be an issue for those of us who are not staying at PH to come and hang by the pool with you all?
-
I just checked the Vegas forecast . . . high 90's and 100's for the next week! Wahoooo!
-
OK well I am in -- I'm not into dresses but it all sounds like fun.
Thanks re: pic! It's from August... I never wear hats LOL but was in the Hamptons in the sun so I had to.
-
Ladies... I have returned from my little trip to Sarasota.. had a great time.. and you will all LOVE JUDY... facecrafter.. she is a gem of a soul!
I have to work longgggggggg hours starting now... so.... look for my AIRPORT post Sunday or Monday. WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Jaz and Gisella... and all other helpers.. GREAT JOB girls.
AGAIN... if your plane lands Friday AFTER 3:30pm... PLEASE PM ME.
There will be ONLY 2 groups at the airport again this year. There is no need for 3 groups as I thought before...I was able to get others to move their flights up... as not to be excluded. If you have not PM me about this.. YOU NEED TO.
Again... I will post the meet and greet times... and place to meet Sunday or Monday...
xxxooo
-
I am REALLY getting excited too. Mona, I am right with you jean capris and a cute top work for me. I am bringing 1 dress and that is for Monday night I made plans to go and see Tony and Tina's wedding. Just a little gift of appreciation for my friend who is joining me on this special trip. She is a gem.. Knew her since I as 10 years old and have been friends ever since. She is just as excited as I am!
I guess I will have to hang at the Bally's pool since this is where I am staying. I only chose to stay there cause it save me 350.00.. I am staying there for 5 nights and it's only costing me 100.00. I am all about saving cash where you can...
15 more days... WOOOOO HOOOOOOO! There, I said it for you ladies.
-
Jennifer you can probably go to the PH pool as a guest of someone staying in our hotel (or at least should look into that).
-
I know last year we wore our shirts for the meet and greet but than changed for dinner and going out that night. That could be a option. I rarley dress up and got a new sleeveless dress that wants to be worn : ) I don't really want to wear a dress for Fremont Street so will choose to wear it Friday night when we go to the LaScena bar and lounge at the Venetian.
-
Yes.. and dressing up sister will be best Friday night at the meet and greet and going straight to the LaScena... the rest of the trip is good with about anything.. shorts if hot. Now........ the Bellagio is a very nice Hotel. I would not wear shorts there.... but since we are going to Freemont right after.... I would say.... nice cloths... but not like dressy.
I am a dress wearer.... I have many casual summer dresses... so.. for me... it will not be like dressing up... I am a comfort girl... and tube dresses are my thing...:) Like wearing a nightgown..LOL
Anyway... if you are just bringing one outfit for dress up.... it should be worn Friday. ...
Love you girls!
-
Lilah: LOVE the snazzy hat!!
-
In Vegas you will see EVERYTHING when it comes to wardrobe. Really it doesn't matter what the heck you wear at anytime...ok except tata shirts for piano bar...I don't have much that will fit me these days...except fat tops...so I will be sporting some of my best fat tops! :-)
-
Nowhere, not even the Bellagio is a must to dress up. So TaTa's Tees at the piano Bar? or for the picture at City Center?
-
That's right Laura- my soul is for diamonds!!! real gems!! LOL.. Miss you girls already!! Can't wait for Vegas...
-
Dang good point Judy...it sure would be nice to get our pic with our shirts ...but I don't think we will want to dance in them...ugh
-
I digress... anything goes as far as clothing...... go naked!
ignore my last post...
ROFLOL.....
-
Just my 2 cents worth but I think it would be better to wear the Ta-Ta's shirts to the piano bar on Saturday and then those that want to dress up can do so to go to La Scena on Friday night. Maybe we could meet sometime late afternoon Saturday and have a photo taken of all of us in our ta-ta's shirts in front of PH? Those not going to the piano bar can always change afterwards if they like.......
-
-
Not too sure if I mentioned this...but the same guys are still performing at the piano bar...I let them know we were coming!
-
LOL Jazzy
Thanks Judy! I got it free from my chemo center
I couldn't believe it wasn't a knit hat covered with crochet flowers (NOT my taste sorry).
I think we should dress up pretty for the Meet and Greet/La Scene night and picture op... then do a Ta Ta's picture on Saturday night at the Piano Bar. But whatever you do you have to wait for me, Val, Kristen, Tessa, CS, and Julie to arrive from our show!
-
I'm just letting ya all know that I'm Happy to be able to go & not complaining here at all about me,but... I won't be able to dress up, my body doesn't fit any of my cute nice dress up cloths
! From my head all the way down to my toes-A real piece of work..gonna get both set of nails done along with my hair to draw away from the comfty cloths
LOL LOL Seriously I say each of us looks at ourselfs differently & what feels good & we think looks good on us.....GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!! We won't care because we're so thrilled to be united together as ONE BIG SISTAHOOD!!!!!!
Are you all ready for the countdown??!! 336 hours...that's 14 days...that's 2 weeks till VEGAS WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Take care Chow XOXO Susie
-
Well said Susie! My problem is the darn hot flashes!! Whether I am dressed up or in comfy clothes, I just pray the sweat doesn't start dripping down my face...lol...disgusting I know..I have had these flashes for almost 2 years now, enough already!
-
Totally agree with Suzie.. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.. I think the piano bar is a great place for the tata shirts. I guess a decision has to be made some time soon...
-
kjbell
I can pretty much keep the bad flashes (dripping down the face kind) at bay with a healthy diet...that concerns me with all the food we will be eating. Also I have a small electric fan that blows on me all night. I am never without it...I even take it to my moms when I visit her...I will NOT have it in Vegas....wonder if I will sleep at all...LOL
I know about the dripping down the face..that can be very uncomfortable. I am usually looking for something to use as a fan.
I have been suffering for years. These are the menopause hot flashes.......do they ever end
:-(
-
LINDA... put your fan in your bag.... bring it! I bet the ladies in your room will THANK YOU!
SUZIE..... AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
OMGOSH TA TA'S!!!! I just saw the amazing thing on our news & had to check it out for myself. With Breast Cancer Awareness right around the corner-many are trying to reach women who either are afraid or no money to get mammogram's.....A group of people put together a cute & funny video after LADY GA GA'S POKER FACE to help ladys be aware & encourage them to get them done....I like her stuff, even if your not a fan..this is a must see...I hope this link works..
www.casttv.com/video/r9t0ccm/mammogram-video
LOVE YOU ALL TA TA'S & you will even see our name in the video
Take care Chow XOXO Susie
