It's hard to believe but it's been about one year ago this time in August I found "it".  I clearly remember pressing on it in the shower and going, hmm, what's that, hmm...., pressing on it and feeling it many times over the next couple days.  I've had had numerous scares in the past (cysts, fibrocystic breast changes) and had been getting my yearly mammos, so I thought, well I'm late for my period, so if it's still there in a couple weeks I'll get it checked out.  Well, of course a couple weeks went by and "it" was still there (NEVER felt over 6cm!!!, maybe the size of a marble).  Got the bad news in September, surgery early November.

What a journey it's been, and I don't know what I would have done without the support of all you wonderful ladies who held my hand and walked me through the darkest days.  For now, I am in a good place, in fact the best I've been since this whole nightmare began, and TRYING to live in the NOW---still have new aches and pains, but trying not to freak out over them.  I know I can't predict the future, but I feel so blessed to have found all you lovely ladies and want to thank each and every one of you for being here for me.

(((HUGS))) and Love to you all,

Sharon
