I had my ovaries out yesterday. They said they were clean, small, and everything looked good and healthy. They turned the scope on my liver and abdomen and that looked good as well. I don't get final path until Friday but he said he expects all good results. He said if I had ovarian cancer it would have to be a very early stage one for him to not be able to see. He said if I had METS to my ovaries he would have seen them. Hopefully, that is true:)

Anyway I wanted to share. If anyone is thinking of having thins done and wants to pm me I am here!

    Congrats on the preliminary clean bill of health. I'm sure it will be all clear in the final report.

    I had an ovary out many years ago because of what looked like a large cyst. Turned out it was very early stage ovarian cancer in situ (abnormal looking cells). Clean margins and no follow up (except a US of the other one every few years). So even if they see something, chances are it's so early you will not have any more treatment.

    Great news Pure, sure hoping for a great path report too.  And thanks for your words of encouragement.  Still waiting on results and I'm barely hanging on at times.  Hopefully I'll get them tomorrow.
