Is anyone else experiencing nausea with Femara?  Just started taking Femara about a month and a half ago and getting nausea frequently.  Wondering if this will ever get better or if this is something i am going to have to deal with as long as i am on it?

Shelby, I seem to remember a post here where someone was experiencing nausea when she was taking it in the morning.  When she switched to evening, the nausea went away.  I take it in the evening and have never had any nausea with it.  Good luck!

Thank you guys for your replies.  I actually take mine at night.  But i dont get nauseated at night, its always during the day.  Could it be from the Lupron shot? I am also getting that once a month.

I have experienced nausea while on Femara. I also take my Femara at night and have the nausea the next morning usually around 11:00. It usually lasts very briefly and I find if I have something to eat it usually disappears quickly. Occasionally it will hit again in the afternoon so I try to keep a granola bar or something similar in my purse. I am told that nausea is a side effect of Femara!

This is a 5 yr old thread with several who have not been to the site since 2010. It is often especially with 'old/inactive' threads to start a new thread if you want to 'talk' with ones that are currently 'here'.

Personally - no nausea at all with Femara/letrozole after being on it for almost 6 yrs.
