I can make it on the 18th, but not on the 17th.

SoCal, your photos look like they came straight out of a travel brochure!  (Lisa said the same thing, lol.)

Hi dear sisters, I am baaack, Walt has had 3 hospitilizations in the last few weeks, so I have been going nuts getting dog/cat care, worrying, etc.

Lisa, love, hang in there honey!  We all love you so much.

Lisa2, BEAUTIFUL photography, as always, such a treat.  So this month we are meeting on the 18th?  I can make that, I miss you all and hate missing all the luncheons.  I will be wherever you all decide, just let me know, still shakey.

    Hugs, Shirlann

Okay it looks like Sunday, April 18th at Venchim Garden.  I will google for directions.  12:00????

I've had a bad two days, including 8 rather fruitless hours in the ER, but am feeling much better.  So count me as #7  (LisaSDCA #1, Brahna #2, Liz #3, Brenda (Adnerb) #4, Shirlann #5, Susan (guitar girl) #6 and and a few others maybe???

Another great picture of truly amazing women!!

Sorry I missed yesterday.  I saw my youngest son off to his 7th grade Yosemite trip and spent 2-1/2 hours driving with my middle son in hopes he will get is license next month.

Just found out recently that a friend / neighbor was recently diagnosed.  She's already had a mastectomy and just started chemo.  I hate this damn disease!!

I will continue to follow the posts in hopes of catching up with all of you in May.

Great news Liz!!!!  As we sometimes say in the Stage IV forum, "StableBoy is a good guy too!"

    Love the rose.  Which camera??

Let's all keep Lisa in our good thoughts and prayers.  She starts whole brain radiation tomorrow.

Two of my favorite flowers and what a combo! Thanks, Liz. Enjoy your trip - where to this time? I want to add my "YIPPEEEE!" to the chorus of cheers regarding your test results. What good news, well at least stable - 'good' would be having a beer - to take on your way!

    Hi Ladies,

Just checking in.  Will there be a May lunch?  Life is crazy/busy right now, but I miss you all and want to spend some time with you.

Do weekdays work for anyone or are we limited to weekends?

    Hi Beautiful Ladies!
I just found this thread.  I was diagnosed in Feb. I had first chemo on April 23rd. If you have a May get-together would I be able to join?  My husband and I moved to San Diego 2 years ago.  My family are all in the midwest and I have made some great friends here, but none of them share my new "pre-occupation" BC... LOL

Hope you all have a wonderful week!

Welcome arubajan! There's a great bunch of women in our group, but we sometimes have trouble figuring out what we're going to do until the last day or two. Be sure to check back regularly. We'd love to get to know you up close and personal. Cool

I would think those who work, such as Brahna and Sylvia, etc might have a tough time making a weekday. I have MD appts during the week this week and probably the next couple as they choose what path will get to my poor brain - and by the ultimate authority - ME.

Another welcome to arubajan!  You have a standing invitation to join us any time, but as Lisa says, we are often not the best at setting dates early. I hope you are doing okay on your chemo. Take care. I look forward to meeting you.Kiss

Weekdays aren't good for me.  I cram lots of stuff into Monday and Tues., and have chemo on Wed. Thursdays are shot.  Friday is iffy.  How about Saturday, May 22?

Welcome, arubajan!  I am one of the newer ladies in this group, and I can tell you firsthand that this is a fine group.

The 22nd is good for me.  Whereabouts?

Thanks for the warm welcome!  :)  I will check the site often as I have marked it as a "favorite".  I don't mind last minute.. I am usually pretty flexible and I work from my home so I can arrange my schedule accordingly.  (The 22nd is fine with me too!)  Take care and enjoy this gorgeous CA sunshine today!

I need to be in Lakeside at a baby shower by two (best friend's first grandbaby!), but that won't necessarily prohibit me from attending. It's how much I'm dealing with fatigue from WBR that will determine whether I miss all or none of these events. I'm also likely to be dependent on rides. Aren't I a FUN date!?!

Maybe we could plan our brunch near you - and you could manage a ride to the shower with someone near you who is going  - or perhaps Liz will be back.  I can certainly pick you up if we plan a destination near you.  Got any ideas?? When are you scheduled to begin, Lisa?

    Hugs, Jeanne
