do not click on my status or on any messageson Facebook  from me. it infected me last nite... araarrghgh

    Hope you got it removed, Apple!  And retained all your data. . .

    My sister got it from Facebook, and fortunately, $50.00 later, her local computer place got rid of it and saved all her data--

    These creeps should be put in jail, instead of giving high paying jobs in Govenment computer security!!

    I know the apps on Facebook are fun, but if they require you to "allow access to your email contacts" -- I would avoid it like the plague!  The very first time I used one (to play a game), the email address I joined Facebook with was instantly hacked, with spam sent out to every single contact of mine.

    Besides not using any more apps, the best advice I got was to change all my passwords (to my email addresses and to Facebook) and to USE DIFFERENT PASSWORDS for each thing I needed a password for!  I know that's a basic rule of internet security, but for a long time I didn't have any problems, and it was so much easier to just remember a single password.  But I was really asking for trouble and very lucky I didn't get into worse trouble than I did!  So... just passing on that good advice, use a different password wherever you need a password -- I have to write them all down, but it has stopped the hacking...

    it's taken care of.. 60 bucks (and another computer problem was fixed so money well spent).

    what a bunch of carp.  I was stupid.. so glad to hear from my cousin who in fact is a news anchor.. the video link said - you're on the news... how unlikely is that?

    - just worried that all my 'friends' would get it too.  fortunately (I hope) they're messages were not believable from me.
