    Thanx-I sometimes forget names,but remembered reading about sending the t-shirt thing cause you couldn't make it-want to make sure you both have one!!!  As well as all the TA TA's!!

    Maybe Jazzy is on to something about getting the phrase-who knows where we'll go next year,but VEGAS  wil always be our 1st home base!!

    Hi, thanks for the birthday wishes.  Still in the partying way, had friends come from California on Thursday, so the house is full.  Nice dinner last night, and tonight friends are throwing a party--nobody would let me do a thing.  I'm feeling the love and happy to be 50!

    I would LOVE to come and meet all you great ladies!!!  I would love to be in a room with some ladies I went through all my surgeries with!!!  :)  Val, KEW, estepp, First Mate...come to mind...or you, Tracey (my fellow hampton roads buddy) but anyone will be fine!!! :)

    I promised Linda54 that I would bring her t-shirt to her since she was so kind to give it to me last year. I would much rather have a t-shirt than a tank but I would need Size Large. I doubt I am going to get rid of any of this weight I was packing last year. But hey.....I HAVE HAIR THIS YEAR!



    Of course that doesn't mean I won't bring some of my "fun" wigs with me.

    Yes Jaz.. I agree... I already have the tiny tee Packer traded me for.. she is TALL and I am short.... so we swapped last year. I do not NEED a tank. Give it up to a needy TaTa.. I am AOK with that. Let us know!

    Cheri2... my two rooms are full... but there are a mix of ladies whose rooms are not full yet... look above, on the original post by TRACEY and PM ladies whose rooms look empty. This worked GREAT last yr. :)

    Ladies... have a great Sunday.. I have 20 something family coming for our family EASTER fun... PRAY FOR ME... Lordy.....:) :):)

    I know Jancie sweety.. HAIR.. GLORIOUS HAIR~~~ So so many of us this year...will have more than 1-2 inches of hair...

    I, myself will have about 6 inches more than last year...... AND it will be a little lighter ( YES... my natural hair is DARK.. and people think I color it that dark... WHATEVER).. so.. I am now lightening it to a Med. brown... LOL)

    It will be AMAZING to see how long... Tracey.... me,,, Tracy,,, Karen.....Jancie.... Jaz... Susie... Quinn.... and Claire....hair will be... OR their choice of hair styles... ALL US CHEMO GIRLS from last year....

    WOW.. so many of us that went last year... CHEMO.. SURGERY.... RADS... WOW...

    this year we will have SO MUCH MORE energy... and PACKER.. sweet lady.. will NOT be in such PAIN PAIN PAIN... Jancie... LORD... can you HAVE more energy....

    Jancie had her last radiation... THEN jumped on a plane to VEGAS>!!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    Howdy ta ta's!

    DH and I have just been discussing the Ta Ta trip and a trip in October for just the two of us.  I'm so excited . . . we have decided to combine the two and spend a week in Vegas.  Oct 1 - 8.  So I'm going to try to get a place close to Planet Hollywood, and I may still do a room there on the nights the girls are all in town.  Then I'll move over to the hotel where DH is for the rest of the week.  We have friends that live there, so DH can play golf with them and find plenty to do while I am Ta Ta-ing it up!  I would probably have him come along to meet you all and maybe on one show or something, but I want plenty of girl time too.

    Count me in, get me the tank top, size small please, I'm looking at flights, and babysitters and hotels, and blah, blah, blah.

    Jazzy, yes just PM me when we're good to go with the order.  We might as well buy all 18 shirts - I'm sure there will be takers for all of them in Los Vegas.

    And everyone else, perhaps you could give Jazzy the money when you pick up your shirt?  I don't mind waiting until we get to Los Vegas.

    Thanks Kristen!  The problem is...I have 21 people who want a shirt so far and there are only 18 available.  I will pm those who have contacted me first...first come first serve.  It's the only way I can do it.

    I think I have about 8 inches of hair now if you can believe it!  However, I'm going to have to get it cut in the next couple of weeks because all of my curls are growing out and it is now straight at the top and curly only the bottom three inches or so.  So I'm going to have to bite the bullet and cut off 3 inches of curl so I can have an actual style!  I should have it back by October though!  Yippee!

    OK girls I think I almost have the t-shirts figured out!!!  Also I believe they have some XXL T-shirts left as well.  Remember the tshirts run a bit small and shrink if you put them in the dryer.

    Let me know if anybody wants to order any of the XXL shirts.

    OK girls I think I almost have the t-shirts figured out!!!  Also they have some XXL TANKS left as well.  Earlier I had said t-shirts, but they have 2xl TANKS left.

    YOU GOT IT LAURA!!!!  I am SOOOO  excited to have this special girl survivor time again.  Trust me girls this will be a trip of a lifetime with lifelong friends!!!  The bond you will feel instantly is SO PRICELESS!!!!

    Mona - we had activities every day last year. We got together on Friday night - meet and greet - breakfast Saturday morning. Komen fundraiser and piano bar Sat night (ummmm for some of us it was 3 am Sunday morning). Then brunch at the Bellagio and some of us went to Freemont (old Las Vegas) - others went to Coyote Ugly. So I don't know what is being planned yet but there is plenty of wonderful girl time besides gambling time. Some of this stuff may not be able to get planned until right before the trip. Oh yes....we got entrance to a posh bar on Friday night - the type where most of the people wait in line and the bouncers figure out who they are going to let into the place - Not only did they give us free admission, but if I remember a free drink and we got taken in ahead of all of these hussy's that were standing in line.

    Ok, I have booked our timeshare for DH and I for the week.  WAHOOO!  I'm going to Vegas!  Now I just need to decide if I want to stay at PH with all of you for the 4 days.  What is the room rate at PH?

    Mona - it is more fun if you stay with us for the 4 days - Friday night to Monday morning! Besides when you share a room with 3 other people, it is really cheap! I can't remember what the exact amount was and it is somewhere back probably 10 pages or so but it was a ridiculous low amount considering you are staying in Vegas over a weekend when rooms are normally $200 per night. They only give you cheap hotel nights Sunday through Thursday. I think last year I roomed with 2 others (3 to the room) and the last night was $38 or something like that. It was somewhere around $58 for Friday and Saturday night but remember we were only 3 to a room so we were paying a little bit extra.

    Yes Judy... you are going through CRAP... you waited SO long to exchange... and to find out.. it really did not matter.... I am sad for you. I hate that you have to have more surgery... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... just not right.

    SOMEDAY... radiation and implants only will work.. it is just going to take time, Judy... I have a BIG question.

    Did you have ALLODERM placed at the time of mast and TE?

    I am so sorry that your rad side did not hold up and another surgery so soon....!!!!

    You know I have LD flaps and are very satisfied with mine.  At least you only have to redo one side. I will be thinking of you on Friday.  Hang in there and just think about VEGAS....

    Yes, Laura.  DH and I are going for the whole week 10/1 - 10/8 and staying in our timeshare, the Marriott Grand Chateau which is right across the street from PH.  He has been to Vegas before.  We also have friends who live there.  He may tag along for one or two of the events, but mostly, he will play golf with our friends and do some photography (his hobby) while I am off Ta Ta-ing it up. Then he and I will have from the 4th to the 8th on our own.

    If it's a problem, let me know, but I thought others were bringing their moms and I remember people talking about staying with their DH's last year.

    I'm thinking about my first grandchild and Vegas...two wonderful events to look forward to.  and I am OK with the surgery.  At least I know there is an answer for me.   In my family nothing is ever easy medically.   So I am used to things not working out.  The second time is usually the charm.  Thanks for your prayers.  JUDY
