Val, I plan to arrive Friday and leave Sunday. Go ahead and book, let me know if you need some money now or if you want to just wait till we get there. If you have a layover in Albuquerque, we could fly together but otherwise I won't be flying from Dallas. :-)

Laura
Thanks for setting the record straight on Judy. I don't know why I thought it was an exchange. I knew better. Ahhhhh another lat flap girl.
Judy, we are waiting to hear from you. I hope your surgery went well.
-
Lilah, Val, Julie---Yes, I can only be there Friday and Saturday nights, if that is not good for you maybe you can find someone who can be there all three nights. I will be coming in later on Friday and have to leave Sunday morning, I just have too much going on, school will have started, I will be working of course, and I have to do practicum for school--16 hours a week in addition to work and school. I also have the Portland 1/2 marathon on 10/10! I have to be home Sunday and get ready for the week. Looking forward to seeing everyone! Sorry I'm off the boards, I'm just really tired and don't have a lot of extra time, looking forward to the quarter being over. Judy, I hope you are doing well, you show so much grace...
Hugs--Karen
-
Kew/Karen... I wish there was some way this trip did not have to be a rushed one. I wish you could have this time.
Judy... I saw you posted on the picture forum... but did not post how you are. I hope you are not in too much pain. ((HUGS))
-
Karen -- don't be silly! It will work out just fine and we will fight over who gets a bed to herself on Sunday night
Judy -- how are you doing??
-
Laura--Me too, but school starts the at the end of September, work--you know how it is--got to keep all the balls juggling!
Thanks, Lilah!
Hugs--Karen
-
Estepp- Count me in Sista!! Thanks for taking care of this for our roomies. You rock girl! By all means let us know when you hold the room so we can get money off to you hopefully before your statement comes due.
HUGS!!

(((((((JUDY))))))))
My prayers are with you sister. I remember you and I watching so many other sisters get out of their expanders while we waited. I am sorry you experienced that disappointment at your exchange sweetie. I pray the LD works like a charm and any pain you may be experiencing has already resolved itself. You are in our thoughts my dear!!
-

Hey everyone, just a quick hello and I'm fine. The doctor did an LD flap, got rid of all the necrotic skin (YUK) and made me look fine again. He got rid of the infection (on antibiotics to be sure) HOWEVER, I will have surgery AGAIN in four months. He put in an expander- did not want to close in the infection and he wanted to guarantee my symmetry. After all this time, I didn't want to be possible asymetrical. He foretold that the TE will move a little in the pocket and that he can correct it when he does my exchange..
So for now, vicodin and I are on speaking terms..and I'm very tired. Really-two surgeries in two weeks-why would you be tired?? LOL.
He did an awesome job..although naturally I look forward to the day when this is COMPLETED.
Thank you for all your good thoughts, prayers, white light, etc. It all helped..
Funny story. The nurses thought I had put on my makeup before anyone was awake (I understand some women do this).. Well, when they found out that it was permanent and that I did the work, it was game on. They paraded into my room to find out about it, gave out my website, so they could all see it, and here I am, giving consultations at 4AM!!! Who woulda thought?
Gotta run, my personal nurse ratchett is making me stay off the computer -- just a little at a time. Thanks all, I tip my JP drain to you!! JUDY
-
Great story about the permanent make-up! Judy so glad to hear you so upbeat
-
Hi Judy - Glad you're doing well. Funny story about the makeup....I can just picture them all in your room at that hour - you're a trooper!
Terri
-
Karen, You're schedule sounds like a bummer but glad you'll be there for what you can!
Judy, It's great to hear from you. I admire your great attitude through all of this, you're such a trooper. That's a great way to drum up business!!
Julie
-
Yay Judy! So happy you're doing well. Maintain the upbeat attitude and it will get you far.
-
I could have just dropped in and given them my card......
-
Just priceless Judy! The sight of "perfect" eyeliner and eyebrows right after major surgery and at 4AM... must have given the poor nurse a start for sure! Get some rest and heal.
-
Judy AWESOME!!! WAY TO GO GIRL!!
-
Judy-better advertisment in person!! You are Unique as well as a touch of Flair!!!!
