    Thank you everyone very much for the well wishes, thoughts and prayers.  I spoke with the radiologist and the results were benign.  Phew!!  The calcifications were just fibrocystic breast changes.  No mammogram for a year now unless there are problems.  I'll remember what my feelings were about this - anything abnormal will be as Sheila says "get the ticking time boob off", but for the next year adopt Meece's stick your head in the sand methodology.

    Beautiful day today, still 79 degrees.  Came home from work and for the first time in over a year and a half, sat outside and enjoyed the day.  Last year was one of the coldest summer's we've ever had and I was so sick from Chemo all summer that I couldn't enjoy the outdoors.  My DH, DD#1, DS#2 and two grandsons sat outside for a couple of hours and just chatted and watched the little boys play.  Grandpa (DH) told the boys he'd pay them $2 if they'd pick up all the walnuts that dropped last fall from our tree - the 2 year old confused the walnuts with the "petrified" doggie surprises!  It was quite a sight.

    Suzette.  Whewww.  So very glad to hear the news and in my head I could see your little grands with their interesting walnut crop.  Maybe that will rid some of it before Easter eggs:)

    We reached the 80's today.  Also say outside after work and really enjoyed the warmth.  Pool is now 80 degrees.  I will be in it this weekend.

    Suzette, congrats on the b-9 results. When my son was 3 or 4 my father offered him money to pick up all the small crab apples that had dropped from his tree. He picked up 3 plastic grocery bags of apples.

    I just got up and haven't seen the weather report yet but last night they said it would be a perfect day, clear and sunny with temps in the 80's and low humidity.

    Thanks everyone. I do think it would be called "walnut crap"  I'll have to steal that line Eph_312.  I love the cake idea - I'm in even though being on Femara probably makes cake quadruple the calories - dang it.

    It's 72 at 10:00 am in Michigan - headed for a high in the low 80s with beautiful sunshine.  The cold front comes through tomorrow but will only drop the temps into the 60s.  I can live with that in the beginning of April in MichiganLaughing

    We had pouring down rain for about 3 hours this AM and now it's blue sky & sunny, but windy & chilly.  In Oregon, you just close your eyes for a minute and when you open them back up, you've got a new day!

    The weather has been fickle today, gray skies at 6:30, blue skies at 10, back to gray at 1, back to blue at 2 and that seems to be where they are right now.  It still is wonderful gardening weather.  I weeded my potatoe patch yesterday and thinned out the asparagus bushes.  I think it is time to clear out the old radish crop and plant another.  We don't have dogs so it reallyis a crop.

    It has been GLORIOUS today!  Got next to nothing done, spend a good part of the afternoon on the back deck reading and listening to the birds.  Got mint coming up out in front of the house. Also GOT to get to work on the yards and garden. . .

    Glorious day today, too.  Up to 84 this evening when we got in the pool--which was 82 degrees.  Weekend is supposed to be wonderful.

    Foggy this morning, but it was foggy yesterday morning and still got up into the high 70's.  The weather guesser is saying high 70's possibly 80 today.  I had all the windows in the house open yesterday, just enough breeze to clear out the last of the stale winter air and replace it with fresh spring air!  Spent a good part of the afternoon on the deck reading and watching the neighborhood comings and goings. My 2 crocuses have gone by, but I've got a whole line of daffodils almost ready to open, and the mint in front of the house is coming up already!  Spring has sprung!

    I also opened up all my windows yesterday to let the fresh air in. My creeping Phlox that drapes over my block wall on the driveway are in full bloom and walking by them the smell is heavenly, they have a scent similar to Hyacinths. My mom has offered me daffodil bulbs after hers die off to plant on my front bank hers keeps multiplying and they are the large flowers. I don't want to spend a lot of money on plants to put on the bank my thumb is not quite black when it comes to outside plants Laughing so I am transplanting whatever anyone wants to give me or I can dig out of the yard. I have transplanted grape hyacinth bulbs (small border type), some monkey grass, the creeping phlox with mixed successful results.

    Today is also going to be a great day to be outside temps again in the 80's. My hubby made it home before 5:00 pm on Friday but he does have to leave early Sunday morning Frown, even before sunrise service, lately he has been getting home after 5 pm on Saturday and has to leave on Sunday night or Monday morning. He prayed that the Lord give him plenty of miles after we found out my job would be gone later this summer and the Lord has answered his prayers and given him more that 2500 miles a week.

    Our windows are now closed.  We started this morning with a temp of 70 degrees and the temp dropped this afternoon 20 degrees - it's 50 degrees now and very gloomy!  It was nice while it lastedLaughing

    Getting ready to watch my MSU Spartans in the Final Four basketball game.

    My DH and I spent the day at Bok Towers botanical gardens here in Florida.  About an hour away from Tampa.  It was the most incredible day.  Everything was in bloom for the spring.  For the first time in a long time, it was almost "hot."  Currently it is 70 degrees and a beautiful evening.  Changed my avatar to a pic of a gorgeous pink camelia.  I love southern spring time.

    The weather today was not quite as nice as weather guessers said, cloudy and not quite as warm (70's instead of 80's) but no rain in sight Laughing. I did have my windows opened last night and today, I may close the bedroom window tonight, hubby had to leave tonight for a long run to deliver Monday morning in New Jersey so he isn't home to say, it's too hot in here! The ceiling fan quit working last summer and he likes some air flow when he sleeps.

    Good weather predicted for Sunrise Services tomorrow morning at 7:00 am in the Memorial Garden at the Church followed by Breakfast, all done by the youth group of the church.

    We are supposed to have rain tomorrow afternoon/evening.  But the weather should be fine for church service at the Riverwalk Park.  It won't be sunrise service being at 9:30 but it is really nice.  In fact in years past I have come home sunburnt!

    Yesterday turned out absolutely beautiful!  My friend came over and helped me start evening out the ruts in the driveway, got some raking done, started re-edging the garden and discovered that some of the herbs are showing signs of life!  Mixed up a batch of maple syrup wine and set to ferment.  Went to the local ice cream place and had a marshmallow sundae with chocolate ice cream--yummy!  Talk about finding out how out of shape I am, though, and talk about tired last night!  But it was a wonderful day.  Looks like today is going to be just as beautiful!  Yeah for Spring, and Happy Easter--Christ is Risen!

    Sounds like most everyone had a very nice day yesterday.  We're at 54 degrees, expecting sun all day and a high of 70.  Usually we have snow on Easter so this is a wonderful change.  On our way to 11:00 Mass, I don't think I'll even have to wear my coat.

    My DH woke me just before the sun came up this morning.  He had two folding chairs and coffee for me to sit on the front stoop and watch the sun come up.  He is a minister so we had our very private very meaningful Easter sunrise service.  We then went and sat out on the back patio (where we are now) watcing the beauty of God's creatrion.  I live on a lake and the birds have been so wonderful to see.  Iti s about 75 degrees now and will be up in the 80's later.  I pray for a blessed Easter for all of you.  Oh, by the way, NM, wow, the wine sounds wonderful.

    Sitting inside tonight writing a paper (I'm trying to complete my Master's degree) - windows are open and a nice 70 degree breeze is blowing through the house.  My sweet 12 year old declawed calico cat just brought me a plump juicy mouse and layed it at the door for me - she loves her "mom"! Laughing

    suzette, loved the mouse story.  We lost our 21 year old cat several years ago.  She would leave us such gifts.  How close are you to finishing your degree?  We came home from work and it was in the 80's.  Swam in the pool and exercised my old and very out of shape plump body.  Felt great.

    Mary, Swimming sounds heavenly.  I'm so sorry you lost your cat, I dread the day I lose this one and hope she lives to be 21.  I'm a year and a half away from finishing - I work full time and am in school part time - had to take over a year off of grad school to get through the cancer treatments so this is my first class since then.  Chemo brain is not helping me get through this class at all!!

    We had another spurt of rain this morning which has only made the weather seam muggier.  We got a whole .04" !  The sun is out and the sky is blue, and I have to work in the house right now. Cry

    I'm getting my Master of Science in Nursing Education at Michigan State University - if I ever can complete it.  My original classmates are graduating next month.

    I just took the doggie outside for her last "walk" of the night and the air is very muggy and still, we're at our high for the day of 73 and the peepers are very loud.  We've had storms all last night and all day today, a tornado warning around 11:30 and a few violent storms with golf ball size hail and winds of 60 MPH.  Thankfully we didn't sustain any damage.  No rain or storms right now but it wouldn't surprise me if we have a few tonight.
