As this is more than 3 years old, it's not very relevant! Guess the answer is that anyone posting in the stage 1V forum should have mets!
-
Originally (at diagnosis): Mets to mediastinal nodes and left iliac bone. Chemo (6 rounds adriamycin-cytoxan-taxotere) cleaned out the nodes. Then, Tamoxifen kept 'em clean for a few months, but I had to go off the Tamoxifen due to a deep vein thrombosis (splenic vein). Primary tumor (right breast) and the bone met got smaller from chemo and stabilized on the Tamox too. Now, who knows what'll happen. They're trying to bust the clot with Lovenox injections which haven't been helping so far...but I still have to get 'em.... :-(
