who has mets to liver. -
lung

I had only bone mets for almost 5 years. It was then detected in the spinal fluid which is now clear with treatment.

I thought the lungs were also an area where breast cancer spread??
-
Yes, lungs are possible for mets. I accidentally left it out. Sorry
-
Bones, lungs, sternum lymphs. With the oopherectomy and the femara the bone mets are stable and the lung ones have reduced to almost nothing. There has been no spreading to any new organs since diagnosis of mets a year ago. I'm confident that it shall continue like this for a few years at least.

I have met to lung, bone, and liver.

Question, How are bone mets treated?
-
Parrothead..have you seen Jimmy Buffet this year when he toured? It was a pretty good show but not as good as years past!
-
Pharmmom - I have multiple mets, so I am not 100% on all treatments for just bone, but, my best answer is - it depends. If your bone cancer is hormone receptive it can be treated with hormone supressents and a bone strengthening drug. If not, then chemo is used. Hopefully someone else 'in the know' will respond. Pharmom,
My BONE METS have been treated with daily ARIMIDEX, monthly ZOLADEX (for hormone suppression; I'm pre-menopausal), and monthly ZOMETA infusions. I am ER/PR+ and HER2 - . My understanding is that hormone therapy is the preferred first line treatment for hormone receptor positive BONE METS. -
FLloriK,
No, I have not seen him in concert. Just own all of his CD's and ALOT of Margaritaville shirts from his stores. I have been to the Charleston, SC and Orlando, FL stores and been to his restaurant in Myrtle Beach, SC. I have heard he is great in concert.
