Barbe... he had a stress test last week and had an "episode". Not enough blood flow. So went in Monday for a angioplasty possible stent placement. They could not do the procedure though, because the blockage was as strong as cement. Thankfully, he grew to smaller veins to carry the blood that that artery usually carries. He sees the cardiologist again Thursday and we will set up another procedure, more involved. He's resting well....

Has anyone seen KAK lately? I was just telling dh this a.m how she put Sharon on # 32...lol
Hey Sharon...the weather's getting warmer...maybe it's time to get #32 in working order :-)
-
MUM, hope you have a wondermous birthday. It'll be nice to get away and forget "life" for a few days. Sending you big hugs and birthday wishes!!!!!
-
Arnie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's sooooooooooo great to see you and #32!!!! and our Sharon at the wheel....LOL. It is a good time to take a little trip in the old gal
#32, not Sharon.....LOL
Sending lots of hugs and prayers to you and DH!!! Keep us posted, ok?
-
Holy crap Arnie!!! How long has he been dealing with that so that the blockage could get that hard????
And then to be prepared for the relief from the stent and be denied that too??? Oh, my heart goes out to him. (no pun intended, it just comes naturally
)
Mum, if I know your DH he will whisk you away to somewhere spectacular where you can dabble your toes in warm sand and water and he can take bird photos. Are you coming to our Toronto get together?
I haven't seen KAK post for a while on Facebook either....
How you holding up Faith? You must be ready to crash by now....
-
Mum Happy Birthday to you! Hope you and your DH get away somewhere wonderful and that you are able to worry less. Easier said than done I know.

Over the last few days I have seen KAK on facebook again. I have been enjoying some links she posted to music tracks.
This morning I am off for 3 month checkup with my oncologist. I have a few questions for him but no reason to suppose there are any problems.
Take care bunnies and have a good day. xoxoxo
-
KAK has justed posted a ton on FB about being happy with her serotonins so she is doing GREAT!
-
Good grief, I seem to have gotten way behind in the housekeeping thread. Shame on me!! My punishment will be I must clean up a bit. A friend is coming for lunch tomorrow.
Candy, welcome. You are going to learn all sorts of house cleaning avoidance techniques on this thread LOLOL.
ARNIE, hugs to you and DH. Mum, same goes for you. Small consolation but I too have some pain over the rib area.
Jayne, I hope all goes well at your appt. Even the regular ones scare the bejeebers outta me.
Coonie, I'm a gonna git meself inta dat der #32 an come down south to tan your wittle hiney. Tellin tales about how I wash the dishes............whoops, don't believe a word of it about me washing dishes. The dog does 'em.
LMBO.
Jamie, garage sales are fun so maybe we could look the other way THIS time. hehehe.
I pray for good news for all having appts. Dusty hugs to all.
Time for me to get those dishes done.
-
so, without much detail, my dh is not d at all! I am off to do mega house cleaning or maybe purging is better.
Think good thoughts for me, Hoping everyone is on the road to recovery and enjoying the sun and approaching spring!
-
Ok...drum roll....my test results were B-9!!! Whoopee! So thankful that I have a 6 month reprieve until next mamography....
xoxoxo
-
Woooohooooooooooooooooooooot!!!!!!!!!!!! Arnie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's what I'm talking about!!!!! I'm soooooooooo happy for B-9!!! You go girlfriend!!
-
(((((EWB))))) sending you my very best thoughts.
Arnie what fantastic news! Yay for benign resuilts.
My onco appt today went well. Results were in from the bone density scan I had a few weeks ago and my bones are good so far. Everything else checked out OK and my onc doesn't need to see me for 12 monthhs now. What I particularly like about this is that my onc seems to have no doubt I will be there to keep that appt. I know anything could happen between now and then, but it made my day.
I also have an appt with my surgeon tomorrow and I will need another mamo on my 'good' side fairly soon. Obviously I'm not looking forward to that.
Now if I could just train my cats to do the dishes like Sharon's dog. So cute!
-
Thank you you Coonie and Jayne....

Thank you Coonie. I just might take you up on that, but for now I am thick in "SEN support essential and long to do mode".New level of Pain meds have helped me, so less time in bed, which is good. On the minus side DH has just told he he's now assigned to a few deals which are based abroad, which will mean he could be away 3 days a week for some time. Oh well, what can we do, we'll just do our best.
Love and hugs to you all, got to get lots of work done. Thinking of you always daaaalings.

TGIF, my lady POD BC Friends. I am 10 days from moving and the kitchen is half packed up. Yesterday I made my ground lamb casserole and it sure hit the spot. I don't call that housework, since I enjoyed it so much.
It was a glorious day yesterday, but much cooler and more like cold today with overcast and rain and wind. The cherry trees outside my windows are full of white blossoms - peak is estimated for April 1.
I checked on the nearby road construction - destroying one bridge/ramp overpass and building a new one. The work is scheduled for 9 pm till 5 am... You know how much sleep that allows a person? Not much, so I am just having my first coffee at 11 am. Lucky me, retired and no where to be until bingo tonight.
Hugs, good vibes and wishes, grateful thanks for good news and Love Ya all, Nancy
-
I'm so ashamed, I've done no housework today.
Happy day dusty buns.
