Hi, we had 72ish here today-gorgeous. Yes, DD crossed into Mexico on Sunday @ 2:30PM. yesterday they poured foundations, today was putting up walls & roofs as well as a small VBS for the kids in the neighborhood. She'll be home late Saturday. I'm enjoying my solitude! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Mary ~ Good news about your niece... God is good!!
Jo ~ Thanks for that link. I love the daily bread and usually pick up the booklet from church. This is much easier as I'm usually on the computer everyday.
-
Thanks for thinking of me and my Dad. He is out of the hospital and back into rehab. He has a long road ahead of him. He can't even stand on his own absolutely no balance. I am beginning to think the PT is right. She says she doubts he will go back to his assisted living apt.
-
Thank you♥
If he were to go home in a wheel chair if he fails with the walker, that would not be so bad.
He is not on oxyegen right now but is having nebulizer tx's.
-
He is still in my prayers, so hard to watch, isn't it, when you think of your Dad as the strong one.
-
Yes, it is heart breaking. Tomorrow I will bring over an Easter Lily for him. He loves planting and working in his garden up until 2 years ago. I take after him, I love to garden also.

Christ Arose
Music ~ Robert Lowry, 1826 - 1899
Stanza 1:
Low in the grave He lay,
Jesus my Savior,
Waiting the coming day,
Jesus my Lord!
Chorus:
Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph o'er His foes,
He arose a Victor from the dark domain,
And He lives forever, with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose!
Hallelujah! Christ arose!
Stanza 2:
Vainly they watch His bed,
Jesus my Savior;
Vainly they seal the dead,
Jesus my Lord!
Stanza 3:
Death cannot keep its prey,
Jesus my Savior;
He tore the bars away,
Jesus my Lord!

Christ the Lord Is Risen Today
Lyrics ~ Charles Wesley, 1707-1788Music ~ Lyra Davidica, 1708
Stanza 1:
Christ the Lord is ris'n today, Alleluia!
Sons of men and angels say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heav'ns, and earth reply, Alleluia!
Stanza 2:
Love's redeeming work is done, Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids Him rise, Alleluia!
Christ has opened Paradise, Alleluia!
Stanza 3:
Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Dying once He all doth save, Alleluia!
Where thy victory, O grave? Alleluia!
Stanza 4:
Soar we now where Christ has led, Alleluia!
Foll'wing our exalted Head, Alleluia!
Made like Him, like Him we rise, Alleluia!
Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia!
Stanza 5:
Hail the Lord of earth and heaven, Alleluia!
Praise to Thee by both be given, Alleluia!
Thee we greet triumphant now, Alleluia!
Hail the Resurrection, thou, Alleluia!
Stanza 6:
King of glory, soul of bliss, Alleluia!
Everlasing life is this, Alleluia!
Thee to know, Thy power to prove, Alleluia!
Thus to sing, and thus to love, Alleluia!

Via Dolorosa
Down the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day
The soldiers tried to clear the narrow street
But the crowd pressed in to see
The Man condemned to die on CalvaryHe was bleeding from a beating, there were stripes upon His back
And He wore a crown of thorns upon His head
And He bore with every step
The scorn of those who cried out for His deathDown the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King,
But He chose to walk that road out of
His love for you and me.
Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary.
Por la Via Dolorosa al Calvario y a morirThe blood that would cleanse the souls of all men
Made its way through the heart of Jerusalem.Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King
But He chose to walk that road out of His love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary. -
Thank-you, Meece, for the time to post these beautiful hymns!
As we come to the Garden this morning - the tomb is EMPTY! Jesus suffered and died that we might live eternally with Him in heaven some day!
Easter Blessings to all!

He is not here,
He has risen...
