Deborye ~ I am so sorry... I will be praying for you and your family. ((((((hugs))))))
-
He is in rehab right now but his breathing is labored and the slightest little task his blood oxygen goes down. He can't walk and is on oxygen. I don't think he will be going back to his assisted living apt.
If the Lord is going to take him, it better be fast I don't want him to suffer.
-
Deborye, I worked for hospice for awhile and then had the privilege to be with my dad when he died. I knew I would miss him so, but I also knew where he was going. I, too, did not want my dad to suffer and stayed with him throughout to ensure he did not. I promised him he would not be in pain. It was hard, but when one had faith and knows where their loved one is going, it is also a mystical blessing. Hugs and peace to you.

Thank you all sooooooo much♥ I have tears in my eyes.
I will be visiting him today and will give you all an update. It is heartbreaking to see him looking at me and breathing so hard but after his nebulizer (sp) tx's he seems to be better. Time will tell.
I watched my mom die from BC 14 yrs ago, she was only 64 when she passed.
Thank you again.

Continuing to pray for you all Deborye... (((((hugs))))

My Dad is doing better but still can't walk or dress himself. He does not have pneumonia, they took x-rays yesterday. The elderly seem to develop that in nursing/rehabs. I just hate seeing him struggle to breath he is on oxygen 24/7. I wonder if he is giving up.
I pray he gets strong enough to go back to his assisted living apt.

That is so beatful it makes my eyes hurt! Hugs for your Dad, Deborye
-
Wow that is eye popping!!
-
Beautiful Jo!
-
Very nice, JO.
-
Nice, I like that♥
My Dad is back in the hospital, fluid in the lungs and around the heart. They are getting rid of alot of fluid via catheter in the bladder. He looks better now, was pale white when I went into the ER. I guess he is not ready to go to God's beautiful garden.
-
God does His work in various ways, perhaps he has something planned for your father so he used the ER personnel to keep him here a while longer before entering His garden.
-
JO ~ That was wonderful thank you!
DEBORYE ~ I will continue to pray for you your dad and your family. Gentle hugs (((((Deborye and dad))))

Thank you so very much, Seyla.

JO, that was beautiful words!! I kind of sung them in my head as I read them. I'd love to really hear them...
Happy Birthday Meece!!!
-
Hey, JO--Baptists are cool....and so is anyone who loves the Lord Jesus as Savior in my book! (and I still love my non-Christian friends...they are cool too!) I used to be a Lutheran, but have been going to a non-denomination church for 20 years...just sticks to Bible teaching.
-
JO--I love the Catholoprespemethodbapticostal...that is so cool, LOL!
-
I was born and raised Baptist, but since marrying and moving to a different town. DH and I chose to join a non-denominational church. I can't really tell the difference. DH came from a different background which forbade dancing, but his family and other members put their kids in ballet classes and let them go to school dances, so if you don't stand for what your church believes, you must not be that connected to it. We decided to have somewhere for both of us, and we are content.
-
Hello Ladies,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEECE!!!
Meece and Jo I was raised Baptist, but I have attended an AOG church and since moving to a new town we are attending a non-denominational church... love it!! As you say it's all about Jesus!
JO ~ Thank you for the songs... beautiful!
Deborye ~ Thinking of you and your dad!
Hugs,
Kelly
